What is an admin key?

  • An admin key is a key that has not been created as a MyKey.   See   Creating a MyKey - Vehicles With: 4.2 Inch Instrument Cluster Display Screen, Vehicles Without: Push Button Start. 

Why can I not create a MyKey?

  • The key used to switch the ignition on is not an admin key.
  • The key used to switch the ignition on is the only admin key. There always has to be at least one admin key.

Why can I not program a MyKey?

What is an admin key?
