Removing a Rear Lamp - 5-Door/Wagon

WARNING:  Lamps and associated components become hot when in use. Let them cool down before you remove them.

Brake Lamp, Rear Lamp and Direction Indicator

1. Carefully remove the luggage compartment trim panel.

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.

1. Remove the wing nuts that secure the lamp assembly.

1. Remove the lamp.

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Reversing Lamp and Rear Lamp

1. Open the liftgate.

1. Carefully remove the cover.

1. Turn the wing nut counterclockwise and remove it.

1. Remove the lamp.

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
