Removing a Rear Lamp - 4-Door

WARNING:  Lamps and associated components become hot when in use. Let them cool down before you remove them.

Brake Lamp, Rear Lamp and Direction Indicator

1. Press the panel as indicated.

1. Carefully remove the panel.

1. Remove the bolt that secures the lamp assembly.

1. Gently pull the lamp assembly away from the vehicle.

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Reversing Lamp and Rear Lamp

1. Open the liftgate.

1. Firmly pull the soft trim panel at the ten fixing points to unclip the soft trim panel.

Note:   Use a screwdriver to gently lift the panel.

1. Turn the wing nut counterclockwise and remove it.

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.

1. Remove the lamp.

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
