Entretien et soin

    Tirez sur la ceinture àpauli à¨re jusqu’ à  ce qu’elle recouvre enti à¨rement l’ àpaule; elle ne doit cependant pas toucher le cou ni glisser de l’ àpaule.
    Placez la ceinture abdominale le plus bas possible sur les hanches.
    R àglez la position du dossier. Tenez-vous assis bien au fond du si à¨ge, le dos droit.

Avec un chiffon ou une àponge, nettoyez à  l’aide d’un savon doux et de l’eau ti à¨de. V àrifiez aussi les ceintures r àguli à¨re- ment pour vous assurer qu’elles ne pr àsentent pas d’usure excessive, d’effilochage ou de coupures.

Votre v àhicule est dot à de COUSSINS GONFLABLES ÉVOLUÉS dont la conception s’appuie sur les normes de s àcurit à des v àhicules à  moteur am àricains (FMVSS208). Le module de capteur de coussin gonflable (ECU) contr à´le le d àploiement des coussins gonflables en fonction des informations obtenues des capteurs et d’autres àl à- ments affich às dans le diagramme des composants du syst à¨me ci- dessus. Ces informations comprennent des donn àes relatives à  la gravit à de l’accident et aux occupants. Au moment du d àploiement des coussins gonflables, une r àaction chimique se produit dans les gonfleurs de coussin gonflable et les coussins gonflables se remplis- sent rapidement d’un gaz non toxique pour aider à  limiter le mouve- ment des occupants.

    Si la rallonge de ceinture de s àcurit à a àt à reli àe à  la boucle des ceintures de s àcurit à des si à¨ges avant sans avoir aussi àt à attach àe à  la plaque de blo- cage des ceintures de s àcurit à, les coussins gonflables SRS avant consid àreront que le con- ducteur et le passager avant portent tout de m àªme leur cein- ture de s àcurit à m àªme si les ceintures de s àcurit à ne sont pas attach àes. Les coussins gonflables SRS avant peuvent alors ne pas s’activer correcte- ment lors d’une collision, ce qui pourrait occasionner des bless- ures graves, voire mortelles, en cas de collision. Assurez-vous de toujours porter la ceinture de s àcurit à avec la rallonge de ceinture de s àcurit à.
    Le coussin gonflable SRS du passager avant se d àploie àgalement avec une force con- sid àrable et peut occasionner des blessures graves, voire mortelles, notamment lorsque le passager avant se trouve tr à¨s pr à¨s du coussin gonflable. Le si à¨ge du passager avant doit se trouver le plus loin possible du coussin gonflable et le dossier doit àªtre r àgl à de mani à¨re à  ce que le passager avant soit assis bien droit.
    Ne laissez pas un enfant se tenir face au coussin gonflable SRS du passager avant ni s’asseoir sur les genoux d’un passager avant.
    Ne laissez pas les occupants des si à¨ges avant tenir des objets sur leurs genoux.
    Ne vous appuyez pas sur la porti à¨re ou sur le brancard de pavillon, ni sur les montants avant, lat àraux ou arri à¨re.
    Ne laissez personne s’age- nouiller face à  la porti à¨re sur le si à¨ge du passager ni sortir la t àªte ou les mains à  l’ext àrieur du v àhicule.

You lose your keys

The doors cannot be locked or unlocked

The rear door cannot be opened

    Is the child-protector lock set? The rear door cannot be opened from inside the vehi- cle when the lock is set. Open the rear door from outside and then unlock the child-pro- tector lock. (P.113)

If you think something is wrong

The engine does not start (vehicles without smart key system)

    Is the shift lever in P? (P.195)
    Is the battery discharged? (P.649)

The engine does not start (vehicles with smart key system)

    Did you press the engine

switch while firmly depress- ing the brake pedal? (P.196)

The power window except for the one at the driver’s seat cannot be operated if the win- dow lock switch is pressed. (P.160)

The engine switch is turned off automatically (vehicles with smart key system)

    The auto power off function will be operated if the vehicle is left in ACC or ON (the engine is not running) for a period of time. (P.199)

A warning buzzer sounds during driving

    The seat belt reminder light is flashing

Are the driver and the passengers wearing the seat belts? (P.628, 629)

    The parking brake indicator is on

An alarm is activated and the horn sounds (if equipped)
