Entretien et soin

    Tirez sur la ceinture épau- lière jusqu’à  ce qu’elle recou- vre entièrement l’ épaule; elle ne doit cependant pas toucher le cou ni glisser de l’ épaule.
    Placez la ceinture abdominale le plus bas possible sur les hanches.
    R églez la position du dossier. Tenez-vous assis bien au fond du siège, le dos droit.
    Ne vrillez pas la ceinture de s écurit é.
    Manipulation des ceintures de s écurit é

Avec un chiffon ou une éponge, nettoyez à  l’aide d’un savon doux et de l’eau tiède. V érifiez aussi les ceintures r égulière- ment pour vous assurer qu’elles ne pr ésentent pas d’usure excessive, d’effilochage ou de coupures.

AVERTISSEMENT

    Dommages et usure de la ceinture de s écurit é

V érifiez p ériodiquement le sys- tème de ceintures de s écurit é. V érifiez qu’il n’y a pas de cou- pures, d’effilochures ni de pièces desserr ées. N’utilisez pas une ceinture de s écurit é endommag ée avant qu’elle ne soit remplac ée. Les ceintures de s écurit é endom- mag ées ne peuvent pas prot éger les occupants contre les bless- ures graves, voire mortelles.

Votre v éhicule est dot é de COUSSINS GONFLABLES ÉVOLUÉS dont la conception s’appuie sur les normes de s écurit é des v éhicules à  moteur am éricains (FMVSS208). Le module de capteur de coussin gonflable (ECU) contrà´le le d éploiement des coussins gonflables en fonction des informations obtenues des capteurs et d’autres él é- ments affich és dans le diagramme des composants du système ci- dessus. Ces informations comprennent des donn ées relatives à  la gravit é de l’accident et aux occupants. Au moment du d éploiement des coussins gonflables, une r éaction chimique se produit dans les gonfleurs de coussin gonflable et les coussins gonflables se remplis- sent rapidement d’un gaz non toxique pour aider à  limiter le mouve- ment des occupants.

    Ne laissez pas un enfant se tenir face au coussin gonflable SRS du passager avant ni s’asseoir sur les genoux d’un passager avant.
    Ne laissez pas les occupants des sièges avant tenir des objets sur leurs genoux.
    Ne vous appuyez pas sur la portière ou sur le brancard de pavillon, ni sur les montants avant, lat éraux ou arrière.
    Ne laissez personne s’age- nouiller face à  la portière sur le siège du passager ni sortir la tàªte ou les mains à  l’ext érieur du v éhicule.

The hybrid system does not start

    Did you press the power switch while firmly depress- ing the brake pedal? (P.279)
    Is the shift lever in P? (P.279)
    Is the electronic key any- where detectable inside the vehicle? (P.217)
    Is the steering wheel unlocked? (P.280)
    Is the electronic key battery weak or depleted?

In this case, the hybrid sys-

tem can be started in a tem- porary way. (P.538)

    Is the 12-volt battery dis- charged? (P.539)

The shift lever cannot be shifted from P even if you depress the brake pedal

    Is the power switch in ON?

If you cannot release the shift lever by depressing the brake pedal with the power switch in ON (P.286)

The steering wheel can- not be turned after the hybrid system is stopped

    It is locked automatically to prevent theft of the vehicle. (P.280)

The windows do not open or close by operating the power window switches

    Is the window lock switch pressed?

The power window except for the one at the driver’s seat cannot be operated if the win- dow lock switch is pressed. (P.248)

The power switch is turned off automatically

    The auto power off function will be operated if the vehicle is left in ACC or ON (the hybrid system is not operat-

A warning buzzer sounds during driving

    The seat belt reminder light is flashing

The sensor detects it and the alarm sounds. (P.73)

To stop the alarm, turn the power switch to ON or start the hybrid sys- tem.

If you have a flat tire
