Adjusting the sun visor
- Flip the sun visor down toward the windshield.
- Lift it out of the retaining clip .
- Swivel the sun visor toward the door.
On some vehicles, you can slide the sun visor toward the rear of the vehicle after swiveling it over to the door.
Vanity mirror and lighting (Beetle Coupe models only)
A vanity mirror is behind a cover in the sun visor. Your vehicle may also be equipped with a light that comes on when you slide the cover ② open.
The light goes out when you shut the cover or if you flip the sun visor up again.
Vanity mirror (Beetle Convertible models only)
A vanity mirror is behind a cover in the sun visor. To open, slide the cover in direction of the arrow .
WARNING
Sun visors and sunshades can reduce visibility.
- Always stow sun visors and sunshades when not needed to block sun glare.
The vanity mirror light above the sun visor (if equipped) goes out after several minutes. This helps to prevent unnecessary drain on the vehicle battery.
