Do not perform work in the engine compartment


Stay away from moving parts in the engine compartment


Keep the travel path of the hood unobstructed


Stop and close hood correctly


Keep the travel path of the hood unobstructed


Fold in wipers before opening the hood


Close the hood correctly

Opening hood

Pull the lever, arrow 1.
Hood is unlocked.
An acoustic signal and a notice in the instrument cluster indicate that the hood is open.
Release the lever and pull it again, arrow 2.
Hood can be opened.
Be careful of protruding parts on the hood.
Closing the hood

Energetically close the hood from approx. 20 in/50 cm.
The hood must engage on both sides.
