Roof Racks and Load Carriers - Vehicles Without: Panoramic Roof Opening Panel

The maximum recommended load, evenly distributed on the roof rack is 50 kg (110 lb).
Make sure that you securely fasten the load. Check the tightness of the load before driving and at each fuel stop.
Note: Never place loads directly on the roof panel.
Towbar Carriers
When using a towbar attached carrier, consider the following:
- Do not exceed the maximum vertical weight on the towball. This is the weight of the carrier plus the weight of the load. See Towbar Dimensions.
- Pay attention to the carrier manufacturer's specifications.
- Load the heaviest item closest to your vehicle.

Towbar Carriers
When using a towbar attached carrier, consider the following:
- Do not exceed the maximum vertical weight on the towball. This is the weight of the carrier plus the weight of the load. See Capacities and Specifications.
- Pay attention to the carrier manufacturer's specifications.
- If you are using a bike carrier, the maximum number of allowed bikes is three, with a maximum allowed weight of 130 lb (60 kg).
- Load the heaviest item closest to your vehicle.
