Removing a Rear Lamp

Brake Lamp, Rear Lamp and Direction Indicator

1. Carefully cut the trim to access the lamp release wing nut.

1. Turn the wing nut counterclockwise to release the lamp.

Note:   You cannot fully remove the wing nut.

1. Remove the lamp.

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Reversing Lamp

1. Open the liftgate.

1. Carefully remove the cover.

1. Turn the wing nut counterclockwise and remove it.

1. Remove the lamp.

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
