Parking brake lever stroke
Check the parking brake lever travel occasionally. To check this, pull the lever up slowly and count the number of clicks of the ratchet. Parking brake lever stroke: 5 to 7 notches
Also check to see if the lever stays gripped by the ratchet after pulling.
