Basic Audio Operation

Connect audio devices and operate buttons and displays for the audio system.

  • USB Port(*1)
  • Auxiliary Input Jack
    Use the jack to connect standard audio devices.
  • Accessory Power Socket

■USB Port - If equipped *1

Install the device USB connector or the USB flash drive to the USB port.

To prevent any potential issues, be sure to use an Apple MFi Certified Lightning Connector for Apple CarPlay™ or a USB cable certified by USB-IF to be compliant with USB 2.0 Standard for Android Auto™.

■Auxiliary Input Jack

Use the jack to connect standard audio devices.

  1. Open the AUX cover.
  2. Connect a standard audio device to the input jack using a 1/8 inch (3.5 mm) stereo miniplug.

■Accessory Power Socket

The accessory power socket can be used when the power mode is in ACCESSORY or ON.

Console compartment

Open the console lid and the cover to use it.
Notice Do not insert an automotive type cigarette lighter element. This can overheat the power socket.

You can operate certain functions of the audio system using the steering wheel controls.

Volume Button

Volume Button (Up/Down Arrows): Press to adjust the volume.
MODE Button: Press to cycle through the available audio modes.

Adjusting the Sound - Models with One Display

Press the SETUP button, and rotate the selector knob to select Sound Settings. Rotate the selector knob to scroll through the following choices.
  • Bass
  • Treble
  • Fader
  • Balance
  • Speed-sensitive Volume Compensation

Adjusting the Sound - Models with Two Displays

  1. Select Audio Menu, then select Sound Settings.
  2. Select the Bass, Treble, Fader, Balance, Center - If equipped *1, Subwoofer, SVC (Speed-sensitive Volume Compensation) or DTS Neural Surround - If equipped *1.
  3. Use +, - or other icons to adjust the setting.
