What to Do If Unable to Open the Trunk
If you cannot open the trunk, use the following procedure.
Models with adjustable headrest
Remove the driver side rear outer head restraint.

All models
Remove the built-in key from the remote.
Wrap a cloth around the tip of the built-in key. Put it into the cover (as shown in the image) and remove the cover.
Models with the cylinder in the cover
Insert the key into the cylinder and turn it clockwise.
u The trunk unlocks and opens.

4. Pull the trunk release handle up in the direction of the arrow in the image. u The trunk unlocks and opens.
