Takata recall , ford recall 16s26. i received a letter from the ford motor company on saturday, 07-23-2016 about safety recall notice 16s26 . this notice identified that the frontal airbag inflator may rupture in the event of a crash necessitating airbag deployment. a "ruptured inflator may result in metal fragments stricking vehicle occupants causing serious injury or death". i have called san tan ford, gilbert, az 85295 (customer service/[xxx], service mgr. Takata recall - rcvd recall july 2016 and still haven't had car repaired. due to passenger "air bag" light on and "parts not available" (according to ford motor co. & ford dealers), unable to fix so dmv won't allow my teens to take driver's test nor can car have future smog tests for vehicle registration.

Takat recall i received a noticed from ford date july, 2016 regarding an important safety recall for my frontal passenger airbag inflator. i called to see when i could bring my vehicle in and i was told that they will send out a notification when the parts were available. a few months went by and i called again and was told the same story, parts were still not in and i would be notified. my most recent call was on 10/31/17, to complain that they still have me driving in a death trap with my children on a daily basis and the woman i spoke with said that the parts were on backorder and they were not sure when they would be available. she also informed me that not only is my passenger side a recall but also, my driver airbag is faulty as well!!! i'm don't know what to do at this point because obviously ford does not care about their customers and i try not to drive my car too often due to the fact that it is a death trap at this point. i just want to know what i can do at this point to get the situation rectified?

Takata recall letter first received from ford motor company on july 18, 2016. i have emailed them frequently through october 30, 2017 as to the status of repairing the bag but they tell me they do not a solution to the problem. at some point thereafter i was told tk holdings, inc., at p. o. box 3004 of monroe, wisconsin has assumed the responsibility of a suit filed by various persons as well as the responsibility of resolving this problem. i wrote to tk holdings and was told there was nothing they could do other than not let anyone sit in the front riders seat affected by the air bag that needs to be replaced.. i am irritated and disappointed that i cannot obtain any remuneration for my inconvenience but more importantly i want to get this problem resolved. please help. thank you.
