Takata inflators there has been a recall on my vehicle for a long time now. i received the notice over a year ago about the recall but still haven't received notification about the replacement parts being in stock so i can take my vehicle in for repair! driving my vehicle is a constant worry due to this situation! what is going on? i am afraid to drive my own car because i am scared of what might happen to me and my passengers if i am involved in an accident. this is ridiculous!
Takata recall we receive a letter almost a year ago about the recall and nothing has been done to resolve this. i feel that it has not been handled in a timely manner.
Takata inflators. i have been notified of this recall since march, 2017 and there is still not a remedy solution to this problem. i am very disappointed of the lack of speed and, as a result, lack of concern that whoever is in charged of fixing this problem has. thankfully my family and i have not been in an accident, but i would like to have my car fix as soon as possible. 2017 is almost over and this recall has been almost in effect for a year - something that it's completely unacceptable.

Takata recall i received a letter ford in march 2017 concerning a recall on my car due defective air bags. it clearly states a ruptured inflator may result in metal fragments striking vehicle occupants causing serious injury or death. it is even more dangerous for me because i have a heart pace maker. i cannot drive my car because of this condition and i have had to borrow a car whenever i need to go anywhere. i have contacted the iowa attorney general office and filed a complaint. in response to this complaint they have forwarded this on to ford motor company and i was promised a letter . that was 2 weeks ago. i need a car replacement or the current car to be repaired immediately. otherwise i will go back to our attorney general and readdress.
Takata recall my daughters ford fusion 2007 is included in this recall. she has a medical condition that requires a pacemaker and makes it extremely unsafe to drive this car. we gave this information to derek lewis at the national highway traffic safety administration to handle. this was in aug 2017. as of today dec 27th nothing has been done. we need this problem fixed now.

Takata recall, i received a recall notice from ford motor company in dearborn, michigan regarding a recall dated march 2017 instructing me to wait for a further notice from them indicating that they have parts available to enable me to contact my local dealer and have the defective parts replaced free of charge. i am still waiting. i have contacted my local dealer and was told i would get a notice from ford motor company. i am greatly concerned as i drive my vehicle about 50 miles daily to work and i drive my fiance many places, all the while worried that the defective part could cause scrapnel flying at both of us or the actual airbag not working correctly if needed, possibly injurying or even killing one or both of us or anyone else that happens to be in the car at the time. i feel that despite a chapter 11 bankruptcy proceeding (tk holdings inc.,et al - chapter 11 case no. 17-11375 bls ) that ford is still able to get replacement kits to remedy the defect from takata as they are only restructuring and will continue to have enough kits to replace the defects. ford is taking too long on this matter when people's safety and lives are at risk. the real worry is cause for punitive damages for stress and cruel and inhumane treatment due to ford 's neglect.
Takata recall i was first notified of the airbag recall in march of 2017. i find it hard to believe that parts are still not available. when will the airbag issue be addressed by ford? once this and the likely abs recall are addressed, if ever, i would like to sell my vehicle, but cannot do so in the mean time because i do not want someone to get injured or killed.
I received a note from ford months ago that the passenger side airbag should be replaced and that i should wait until i hear from my local ford dealer. when i checked with the dealer he said we are "waiting for parts" ... i have had no word from anyone since.
Takata recall. i received a letter informing me of the recall.if deployed, the passenger side airbag may result in metal fragments striking vehicle occupants causing injury or death. i received this letter in march 2017. i haven't received any other communication about resolving this. i stopped at a local ford dealership to inquire about ways to resolve and they had no options to offer until parts are available to fix the airbag. they were given no timeframe in which this would happen.

I have called the dealership for the takata recall and they continue to tell me that parts are not available additionally, last winter my abs braking system after a short slide on ice, the brake pedal became very soft and remains that way currently and i am concerned that if i have to brake hard for a severe stop that it will not stop properly. it happened when i braked on a street with ice, the abs kicked in as the tire slide on the ice, then afterwards the brake pedal has to be depressed significantly more towards the floor of the car that it used to from the inception of purchasing the car

Takata recall. so the recall was january 2017, 11 months ago. takata filed chapter 11 in us and bankruptcy in japan. so for 11 months and counting i am still driving a ford with a pontential killer airbag. the dealers keep saying it will be another month and yet no end is in site. how can ford continue to ignore the safety of tens of thousands of us citizens driving thier cars under an active recall for over 11 months and not have a solution and fix in place? they have not adressed this in a timely manner by any streatch of the imagination and continue to leave people at risk. if they have no fix in place by december 31, 2017 then force ford to by back all the defective cars thay have placed on the road.

I received noticed of the passenger air bag having a recall on it months ago. ford hasn't no idea on when this part will be in and in the meantime, i don't feel safe having others in my passenger seat. why should it be taking this long for ford to receive their parts? i had a friend that received a similar recall for toyota and had hers fixed a few months ago. *tr

Takata recall - i have phoned the local ford dealer several times regarding the recall for my 2007 ford fusion & there is no parts available to fix the recall. it has been about 2 years now & still no parts available. when i went to file a claim today on the website www.autobirbagsettlement.com, as this is the deadline to file claim for class action, it tells me i am not eligible to file a claim, although it shows my vehicle is affected.
Takata recall - received notice of this recall almost 2 yrs ago with no dealer having the product available to make the repair. the dashboard area where the airbag is located has loosened and appears to worsen as time passes. i am concerned that something major is going to happen at some point. ford dealers have no idea when they will be able to make this repair. my vehicle has around 75000 miles on it and is more than 10 yrs old so obviously it has not be overly used or abused.
