Takata recall no accident no injury. reporting ineptness of ford to rectify this situation. dealer told me that my air bag may not deploy and allow no one to ride in the front passenger seat. are you kidding ??then give me a car of equal value with a working passenger side airbag. i take elderly people shopping , etc. dealers or private owners should not be allowed to sell a car with a serious recall and no immediate fix. the site does not allow a person to express a complaint although it says before filing out the form an accident or injury is not necessary to complete the form.

Takata recall
Takata recall it has been 15 months since i received my recall notice and i have yet to receive the second notice that parts are available. this is beyond unacceptable. the passenger side on the console is swelling around the edge of the airbag and the i'm scared to death that the airbag is going to explode at any moment. i don't let anyone sit in the front passenger seat because of the danger. i also tried to sell the car privately with full disclosure of the recall and the faulty abs module that sill hasn't been recalled. no one would buy it. four different car dealers told me they wouldn't take it as a trade in because of the airbag and other known issues with this model year fusion. i'm stuck with this deathtrap until the end apparently because ford doesn't care or they'd buy the pos back. i'll never buy a ford again and i'll advise others to take their business to chevy/gmc. i'm searching for a lawyer to sue ford motor company.
Tl* takata recall. the contact owns a 2007 ford fusion. the contact inquired about the tk holdings postal letter. the vin was included in nhtsa campaign number: 16v384000 (air bags); however, the contact never received a recall notification. the local dealer (duval ford, 1616 cassat ave, jacksonville,fl, 32210) was made aware of the bulge around the air bag compartment a year ago, but stated that there was no failure and to look out for recalls, if the issue persisted. in september of 2017, the vehicle was taken to the same dealer for other repairs and the contact was informed that the air bag warning indicator was illuminated. the vehicle was not serviced or repaired for the air bag issue. the manufacturer was not contacted. the failure mileage was approximately 80,000. vin tool confirms parts not available.
Takata recall-it's been over a year since the recall and ford still has not notified me when replacement parts will be available.
Takata recall: this recall was issued in june 2016. it is now august 2017 and we still have not been able to get our vehicle repaired. i am afraid to ride as a passenger in this vehicle because of the uncompleted recall. we have not had an issue yet, but would like to have our vehicle repaired so that we do not have an incident.
Takata recall. after over a year when is this recall going to be taken care of? i cannot sell or trade this vehicle until the repair has been made and ford has done nothing in making parts available for repair and apparently nhtsa is doing nothing to see the problems are being corrected?
Takata recall: airbags i called larry h. miller super ford salt lake city 1340 south 500 west, salt lake city (801) 488-1700 and they told me they never received the parts to fix the car. never have heard anything since. sometime in july or august i called.
Since purchasing the vehicle from gresham ford on 12/10/16, there have been three separate occasions when the vehicle lost control while braking and did not stop when expected. i was very fortunate to avoid collisions on all three occasions. the first incident occurred on 7/28/17. the roads were dry. i was driving on the interstate at highway speed when i saw stopped traffic ahead and had to stop quickly. i had plenty of time to slow down and stop, however, when i applied the brakes, the tires squealed, vehicle skidded and actually left tire marks on the road and i was very close to not being able to stop in time. i took the ford in to gresham ford to get the brakes checked the next day and was told by a service tech. that the brakes were fine, but that i might want to get the abs checked out. the next incident occurred on january 11, 2018, when i was driving on the interstate, traveling at 60 mph in the rain. i tapped the brakes lightly as i entered into some water that had pooled (not deeply) on the roads. my car completely lost control and started hydroplaning. i could not pull out of the hydroplane for 20-30 seconds. my car was pulling towards the exterior guardrail for some time and then suddenly it was as if someone grabbed my steering wheel and pulled it as hard as they could to the left. i started traveling diagonally across lanes of traffic, but was able to recover because the vehicle stopped hydroplaning at that point. the third incident occurred on october 26, 2018. i was going about 40-45. it was raining, but not enough to hydroplane. the stoplight turned yellow and i knew i didn't have time to make it through before it turned red. i had to stop quickly, but when i did, instead of stopping, my vehicle began skidding (not hydroplaning) and sliding forward. the car was difficult to control and was pulling me toward the left lane.
Takata recall, was notified in early march 2017 of this recall and told i'd be notified and have yet to be notified !! doesn't sound like the kind of problem that should be put on the back burner !! not really looking to get rid of my vehicle because not only has this recall hurt it's value, but the car onlt has 73,000 miles and is in almost mint condition !! been a ford guy a huge part of my life, a life i'd like to continue !!

Takata recall on july 2016 i received a notice regarding nhtsa recall 16v-384 and at that time i contacted the ford dealership in daytona beach, fl. and they tell me they don't have the parts available and that i'll get a notice in the mail when they are ready. fast forward 10 months later (may 1st 2017) and i still got the same response with no time table as to when this important safety issue will get addressed. i currently have the airbag light lit on the console and feel that i'm driving an unsafe vehicle should i get in an accident. i would ask if nhtsa can follow up with the daytona beach, fl dealerships to help speed up the recall. thank you!
Takata recall" - passenger airbag has a bubble by seam of airbag; received a letter from ford motor company march 2017; according to dealer where i purchased the car, my vin is still showing waiting process. this is ridiculous! it looks like it is ready to explode at any time, though to-date it hasn't. car was stationary when it was first noted. i've been waiting since receipt of letter from ford motor company for notification that replacements were available but per dealership that is still not happening.
Takata recall we were notified in july 2016 the air bag was to be replaced because of a danger to persons driving this car as of today ford motor company stated they have no idea when the parts will be available , the local ford dealership has replaced the air bag indicator on the passenger side at a cost of over $300 which should have been fix as part of the recall now the indicator on the driver side needs to be replaced and the dealer ship wants in excess of $ 400 to replace for the last year i have driven in fear of this car killing me
Takata recall; recall was issued june 1 of 2016. it is now april 17, 2017, and there is still not a remedy available. this is unacceptable. my 2007 honda civic was caught up in the same recall, and it has been repaired/replaced. i am now expecting my first child, and i feel unsafe putting an infant in this car, due to the potential hazard. further, i understand that the failure of the airbag is more likely to occur in humid/corrosive environments. i live on the gulf coast and it is quite humid here. this has drug on far, far too long.
Takata recall have been waiting 2 years now for the part and now i have an airbag light on, on my dash.
Takata recall - i received a letter from ford motor company regarding the recall for the takata air bag inflator recall. the letter stated that i would receive notice when there was a remedy available. as of 4/5/17, i have not received this letter and the ford safety recall site states that there is not yet a remedy available. this is unacceptable and i do not feel safe having passengers riding in the passenger seat. i live in an extremely hot and humid environment in arkansas and this is a serious safety concern. an unexpected airbag deployment, or failure to deploy in an accident is extremely dangerous to both any passengers and as the driver of the vehicle. i find ford's effort to remedy this problem unacceptable and needs to be fixed immediately. please force ford's hand in fixing this recall and expediting the remedy process.

There is a recall on the air bag deflator. and it cam rupture in an accident. i need it fixed immediately!
Takata recall. i am filing a complaint in regards to my vehicle that is already recalled. my car has been recalled for a passenger airbag that is part of the takata airbag issue. my car was recalled in june of 2016. that initial recall notice was my only information sent to me by ford. i have not seen any updates to this recall since. when i call i get the usual canned response from a representative that there is no fix yet. i have been checking their website regularly. today the site doesn't even show my car as being recalled which i hope is just a problem with their website. my car is close to 10 years old with this airbag and my environment has been very humid and hot during the summer months which can contribute to these airbags rupturing. it would be nice to at least get some sort of time frame as to when ford hopes to have a fix, or even an idea of when this is going to be remedied. a simple answer of fourth quarter 2017, or whatever, i don't care. i don't feel comfortable driving this car even though i can't afford not to since it is my commuter car. i don't allow anyone to ride in this vehicle either.

Passenger side airbag makes a squeaking noise while driving. separation between the airbag and the dash is also noticeable. passenger side airbag for the vehicle has been under recall since 6/1/2016 but ford dealership is stating no parts are available and they have no eta on when they will be available. in the meantime, we are uncomfortable driving the car with the airbag acting as it is.

Takata recall --- i received a letter in regards to this recall march,2017. it is approaching one year and still haven't received any updates in regards to repairing this issue. how much longer does a consumer have to wait? just read that they are issuing more vehicle recalls regarding this.
I received notice of the takata airbag recall for my 2007 ford fusion in 03/2017. i contacted ford's customer service on 08/11/2017 and i was advised that ford is in the process of filing a new airbag supplier due to takata's filing for bankruptcy. it is now 11/15/2017 and my airbag has not been replaced, and i haven't heard any additional information from ford. i do realize that takata's filing for bankruptcy might have complicated the situation. i also realize that my vehicle is not the only one affected by this recall; however, it is a concern for me that 8 months have gone by and this safety recall has not been addressed. i hope that delay does not result in any injury to myself or anyone else. i feel that 8 months of waiting is a long time, especially for a safety recall and that this should be addressed as soon as possible.
