Couldn't get traction on light snow-covered road. vsa light was flashing and my car wasn't responding to brake to vsa. i applied my brakes to slow down (to no avail). now my car is out of control and proceeding down a slight incline to a stop sign...picking up speed along the way.my brakes are "to the floor" the whole time as i slide through intersection i have my steering wheel turned right. the front passenger side ended up crashing into a street sign & telephone pole. i was told by police that a car that swerved to avoid me made contact with my rear fender and my car then spun right into the poles. also, neither front air bags deployed upon impact

Takata recall while driving, the light indicating passenger airbag off light comes on then turns off, after several minutes it comes back on. that worries me.

Takata recall, i just don't want it to automatically go off, that's scary, and it should be replaced by takata at no cost to myself. unethical, unsafe, and a danger to other drivers as well!

Was in an accident and air bags didn't deploy and they should have its front end damage

Srs unit failed after recall completed of the inflator recall. honda does have a 15 year extended warranty on this part, but would not apply it since the technician was not able to read the error codes. inflator was replaced around february, srs light came on in may and repairs was completed on 7/11/17 at my expense.

I bought the honda accord new in 2009 in florida. i gave the car to my daughter in 2016 and she moved to illinois. she had the airbag recall repaired on 6/24/17 but airbag warning light is still on. the dealer states there is a "front weight sensor failure" and needs to be repaired for cost of $882.32. honda indicates this part is not part of the recall and will not pay for repairs. i believe the airbags shoud be functional after the recall reair was completed.

The drivers side air bag and side curtain and passengers front air bag deployed as my son was driving in a parking lot where he works. thank god he works at a hospital. i thought hondas was safe but have my doubts now? it's seems like no one wants to help other than our insurance. he said he was maybe going about 10 miles an hour.

Airbag light is on and the recall for the module was completed several months ago oddly enough the srs light and tps are on as well all came in about the same time but unknown as to why

We've been calling gunn honda in san antonio tx since august of 2016. since then, at each call we've heard "the parts won't be in for two weeks, and we'll call you". we received a letter from honda today to ask if the car had been sold or demolished, so we called gunn honda. they said they hadn't ever heard of us, but they'll take the car monday. they won't say how long repairs will take. i fear as this is a recall instead of a "paying" job, they'll keep the car for another six months with an estimate of "two weeks".

Tl* the contact owned a 2009 honda accord. while driving approximately 75 mph another vehicle rear ended the contact's vehicle at a 180 degree angle into three lanes, a 360 degree angle head on into the guardrail, and then onto the shoulder of oncoming traffic. the air bags failed to deploy. the driver sustained neck, head, and back injuries that required medical attention. the passenger sustained neck, back, and head injuries that also required medical attention. a police report was filed. the vehicle was towed to an impound lot and then to an insurance towing lot. the vehicle was destroyed. the vin was included in nhtsa campaign number: 16v346000 (air bags). the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 55,000. updated 06/08/17*lj updated 06/18/17*lj**** updated 06/27/17*lj *as

Scheduled appointment with honda dealer two weeks in advance. showed up for appointment and dealer stated that part has not arrived. no parts for the recall! my understanding is that supposedly the part should be ordered by the dealer using the vehicle vin number. part should be reserved for that specific vehicle. wasted my time taking vehicle to honda dealer. still they haven't call me to speak with service manager and re-schedule at honda dealer.

Hello, neither the nhtsa recall website nor honda's website indicates there is a recall for the airbag igniter on my vehicle, yet the dealership mailed/called me about an airbag safety recall. when i questioned them, they were able to show that they verified the recall applies to my vehicle. my question/concern: why would the dealer have access to safety information that is hidden from the public? i've been driving around with a critical safety defect with a false sense of safety. information from dealer: the following is what the honda database is showing for what is outstanding on your vehicle. vin inquiry acknowledgement dealer information dealer: [xxx] 02/07/2017 identification: [xxx] print selected back * indicates an alpha vin * print item vin description view detail 1 [xxx] vehicle information vin [xxx] pdi dealer 207103 model accord pdi date 07/01/2009 model year 2009 demonstrator date engine no. k24z32883171 delivery date 08/31/2009 emission type ka mileage at purchase 10 selling dealer [xxx] stephen vincel honda owner information original owner [xxx] ...

Takata recall issue not resolved in timely manner. advised in early summer of dangers associated with front passenger airbag and to not allow passengers in front seat. also advised replacement parts would be available by late august. since then have not received any further communication. on this website, i learn replacement parts to be avail by late fall. it is november 28 and less than a month before official start of winter.

Takata recall american honda failed to notify me when the passenger side airbag inflator replacement part became available. i did not know the part was available until i called the local honda dealer after reading articles in the paper that the parts were available. honda said in the article that they had sent letters and blamed car owners for being slow to respond when in fact this is not true. please require honda to notify owners immediately that parts are available so that other owners are not continued to be placed at risk. thank you.

Takata recall - unreasonable time since notification for parts still not to be available to replace defected airbag(s). no matter whether i've had an incident i care for my uncle and can not take him places in my vehicle until your company deems it necessary to spend the money to fix its mistake. please find an immediate solution or provide a loner car. and, i find it highly unlikely that the problem is only in the passenger airbag and not the driver or side airbags. your notification did not provide enough explanation or peace of mind. you have lost a 4x honda customer on a future car purchase and i'm sure many others due to your poor performance of this issue.

Takata recall. received notice in july 20016 re: recall. states that no one should sit in the passenger seat. i have a wife and 2 children--what am i supposed to do? i've called honda every week for the past month. they say sorry, but are of no help. the part has not even been manufactured yet. they are very bad at communicating and customer service. i need reliable transportation for my family.

Takata recall: i received a letter from honda on 07/18/2016 informing me of the issue. i brought the car to the local dealer the next day and they told me to call honda to arrange alternate transportation. i called on 07/19/16 and they told me that my report was received and they would provide alternate transport as soon as possible. i called again on 07/21/2016 and found out that a case was never opened for me and there is no record of my contact on 07/19. another case was supposedly opened, and i followed up again on 07/22/16, only to find out that again, my case was never created. i am driving a hazardous vehicle and honda is refusing to provide alternative transport. only on my third attempt was a case opened, and i have not heard a response since. honda is not allocating appropriate resources to the recall to provide alternate transport to consumers at risk.
