Interactive experience holoride interface Applies to: vehicles with holoride interface With a compatible virtual reality headset (VR headset) you can experience content such as games, movies, and presentations in a virtual world, while seated in the outer sections of the rear bench seat. The holoride interface connects the driving movements of the vehicle (such as acceleration, braking, and steering) with a virtual environment and in this way offers a virtual experience that imitates reality. Limitations The following requirements must be met in order to use holoride:
» The person using the system is seated in one of the outer seating positions in the rear bench seat.
» The person using the system is at least 5 feet (1.5 m) tall.
» The person using the system cannot touch any objects located in front of them (such as the back of the front seats) when they stretch their arms and fingers all the way out.
> The person using the system is using a VR headset with the necessary accessories for incar use.
Requirements » You have a compatible VR headset. » You have installed the myAudi app on your mo-
bile device and you have registered your vehicle in the myAudi app.
» You are logged into the vehicle with your myAudiuser.
» You have installed the holoride app on your VR headset.
Setup > Have the driver switch the ignition on. » Place the VR headset on your head and start
the holoride app on your VR headset. » Start the myAudi app on your mobile device and follow the instructions.
» Follow the instructions on the VR headset.
Device compatibility Compatibility cannot be guaranteed for all types of VR headsets. The availability depends on the following factors, among others: ~ Brand and design of the VR headset. ~ Software version of the holoride app used
= Incorrect use increases the risk of injuries or an accident.
—Using the VR headsets in any location other than the outer sections of the rear bench seat increases the risk of serious injury during an accident.
~Pay attention to the safety precautions displayed in the holoride app in the VR headset.
~As the driver, do not let holoride users distract you from driving, as this could increase the risk of an accident.
