At approx. 7k miles, front tires seemed out of balance. i took the vehicle in to authorized service dealer and they had trouble balancing front wheels and had to balance more than once. at approx. 40k miles the steering wheel and front end began to shake violently when driving over a bump/pothole at speeds of 60 mph and over on highway. the only way to stop the shaking cycle is to slow down to approx. 35 mph. the truck currently has 58k miles and begins the shaking, intermittently, at speeds of 62 mph and greater on highway. i recently took the vehicle to the same authorized dealer and the mechanic's recommendation was to replace the tires and install wheel cams, which are not parts currently on the vehicle from the factory. none of this recommended work or diagnosis was covered by ford.
2017 f 250 death wobble, if you hit a small bump the steering wheel will shake, and at high speeds 55mph or greater the front wheels shake so bad you have to almot stop to get it under control.
2017 f250 44,000 miles experiencing extreme front tire wobble on the expressway (death wobble) normally happens when im crossing over a bridge or hit minor imperfections on the highway. usually happens at around 65 mph and when the wobble starts it will not stop until around 30 mph i lose control of the vehicle when this happens until i can get the wobble to stop. this has been going on for the last few months. i have everything stock on my truck . i have brought it into a shop to check front end and everything seems to be tight. i have had the tires rotated properly. this needs to be recalled by ford. i have been going through ford truck owner blogs and this is a serious ongoing problem with these trucks. i am not the only one. i am a long time ford truck owner and i have never had any issues with any of my trucks.
