Tl* the contact owns a 2012 dodge ram 1500. the contact stated that when the vehicle engaged in economy or multiple displacement mode, the vehicle would violently vibrate followed by a loud noise. the vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnosis and the contact was informed that the software needed to be updated however, an update was not available. the dealer later notified the contact that the vibration was a normal function of the vehicle's design. the manufacturer was notified but offered no assistance. the failure mileage was 1 and the current mileage was 3,000.
I've a ticking sound coming from the manifold for years. i went to dodgeland in columbia, sc and was told that nothing was wrong. however i read many post concerning the ticking and recall. it was happening on start ups and would go ahead, but not its ticking all the time.

Brakes mushy, go all way to floor, need to be pumped before each stop. bad cold start engine noise could make engine stop working according to chrysler repair bulletin. chrysler refused to repair either defect - brake light flashes and stays on much longer due to pumping and need for constant pedal action. according to on-line search the above defects are common in dodge rams - chrysler refusing to repair - claims "brakes working normally" - please advise what to do.
