Right front door window exploded on the highway and shattered glass in hundreds of pieces came into the car. the window had no prior rock chips and i didn't hear anything hit the vehicle-just a loud bang like a shot (not suspecting a bullet but it sounded like one hit) and the glass broke into hundreds of pieces. was traveling in interstate at 70 mph. so glad no passenger was sitting in the front seat because i believe he/she would have had glass hit them. glass went even into the back seat. i replaced the window at a glass company. honda had a recall of front door glass in 2011 on the odyssey-wonder if this is the same glass.
Airbag seat belt light remains on but is intermittent when this happens. not covered through honda or extended warranty. unable to get a code using a bosch live data plus code reader. seat belts do not retract properly. i do not know if this is part of the honda recall or recent federal investigation open on the airbag control unit. this airbag/seatbelt light will stay on the entire time i am driving. bu may not duplicate the next time i start up the engine. very concerned as honda ma not be able to duplicate as light intermittent. please investigate thouroghly:
Vibrations felt while stopped with vehicle in gear. (service bulletin 15-046) driving mode 1...
In purchasing a used crv 2015 from a honda dealer in shingle springs, ca i have found less than honest information regarding the tires and alignment. i did purchase the honda care ., i have since ( today) brought the vehicle, when driving there is a noticeable pull the right. to another dealership in hopes of finding out the truth about what is wrong with the steering, tires brakes etc.
Car needs 1 quart oil in between oil changes. there is no visible leakage in driveway or garage.
Sporadically i have to push start button two or three times to get car to start. purchased car new. battery tested good. after talking with mechanic who told me it was just a glitch, i finally left him the car. turned out to be starter. they replaced but i had to pay $100.00 deductable on extended warranty.
Vibration when in drive stopped and when going 30 mph. it vibrates bad when stopped in drive and foot on brake.....
Purchased this used 2015 honda crv on july 28, 2018, with only 38k miles. noticed some vibration, very bad especially when at stop lights after two days. contacted the dealership four days after the purchase, was told that there is a tsb for 2015 honda crv's, tsb 15-046. wasn't told this before the purchase. scheduled an appointment for check up. was told that they are not sure what is wrong, it could be a number of things. was given an estimate of $1100. was told that is not a guaranteed fix.did online research. figured out many 2015 honda crv owners had the same issue right after purchase. one of the links is below. http://www.hondaproblems.com/trends/crv-vibration/ i and thousands of other consumers are stuck with a car that vibrates like crazy and drives you nuts and makes you feel sick. i can feel the vibration on my ears. anger and rage is the last thing one needs while driving. this needs to be resolved. not spending $1100 for an unguaranteed fix on a newly bought car. this is a serious issue and i believe this tsb 15-046 needs to be recalled.
Tpms light keep coming on with tire pressure normal. dealership says tires are fine and that i must be checking the tires while hot and pressure will read higher. honda did a tsb#14-006 for the 2014 honda cr-v but nothing for the 2015.
Ongoing problem with loosing power when changing lanes. honda representative never available
The passenger side has a vibration at low speed. the passenger side rear has loud noise at 65 miles per hour. it has a popping sound. vibration is at low speed on city streets. the popping sound highway speeds.
Engine vibration when you stop at red light
When suv is stopped at a light with transmission in drive a vibration begins after 15 seconds. vibration is felt mostly on drivers side in the brake pedal, steering column and seat. after vibrating for 15 seconds engine rpm's increase and vibration disappears. 15 seconds later cycle begins again
Driving on the highway, my cr-v was working normal. exited and going down a residential street, the brake light came on & all of a sudden all component lights came on. the engine died, unable to steer, parked it. my brother came to give it a jump & started but smelled rubber burning. the serpentine belt was busted, info on it says it should 5 years or 100k miles. my cr-v is 2 years & only has 38k miles. still can't believe this happened & thank god not on the highway. it was towed to the body shop.
My sunroof exploded while driving about 60 mph on the freeway in 70 degree weather.
Rear view camera lens has become hazy around the edges. picture is not bright or clear. vehicle is less than 3 years old but out of warranty because of miles. dealer replacement is over $300 with no guaranty it won't happen again. i believe this could pose a safety hazard when backing up. in comparison, my wifes subaru outback has a crisp, bright and clear camera image
When driving and changing lanes, car decelerates and loses speed. almost was rearended on highway due to loss of power. the consumer stated the acclerator pedal does not register for about 4-5 secs, during which time the vehicle decelerates. *js
My battery will not stay charged. i'll drive and park come out and will not start. i get it jumped and it starts right up the next morning. drive it to work and 4 hours later try to start and it won't start. battery, altanator and starter all check out ok.
I purchased vehicle new and have been experiencing a vibration from the drivers seat .i brought it to the dealer they kept it for 6 days and said they repaired it but car has same problem.
While engine is running, there is often a strong smell of gasoline in the cabin of the vehicle. it most often occurs while the vehicle is idling either in the garage or outside.
Car vibrates , steering wheel and driver seat shakes when in gear and stopped at a traffic light.
2015 honda cr-v severe vibrations felt in vehicle while in drive- idle (stop lights, signs, sitting in driveway) or slow speeds. so severe causing headaches and nausea. also, extremely uncomfortable for a female to sit on while that intense. in a bad way. took to priority chesapeake in virginia four separate times, where the fourth time both the dealership and american honda refused any assistance in the fix. they admitted this was noticed in the 2015 model, and is normal for the 2015 cr-v (albeit no other cr-v has these issues). both american honda and dealership refuse to accept any responsibility and refuse any assistance in reaching a solution.
Honda cr-v 2015 vibration problem. i am still facing the vibration at idle issue even after the software update and repair performed by the honda dealer which is intended to solve the problem.it is now more noticeable than before. the dealer says there is nothing they can do. american honda says that it's dealers responsibility. the vibration is very distracting and nauseating.
Car has been stalling in motion (especially in areas of higher speed) and the car has been not starting up. we have been on the interstates when the car has gone from 60 mph to stop all at once...almost killing us. in regards to the start up issue, the lights come on but the engine does not. the battery was just replaced and the dealership will not fix these safety issues. in fact, the managing partner tells his staff to ignore our communication attempts and will not return our calls himself. the service manager refused to fix anything because he says there is nothing wrong with the car after driving it around the dealership parking lot once. honda corporate will not fix any issues either. this car is a lemon and has been since we bought it in january 2015. these stalling and startup issues have specifically been going on since january 5, 2017. *tr
Vibration at idle
Excessive vibration after cvt recall back to honda 4 times not fixed. so much vibration you feel sick when stopped at light.
I had my tires rotated at the honda dealership and now the tpms will not go off. the tire pressure light keeps coming on even after i checked the tire pressure.
Last year we leased a new 2015 honda crv expecting the same quality experience of our previous cars. the vibration issue that everyone is reporting was noticeable the first day of driving the car and it is horrible, but it is also the least of my worries at the moment. i had the frightening experience of pulling into a parking space at a very low speed, braking, and the car suddenly going forward several months ago. i ran over a sign and hit a coworkers car while trying to stop the car (as i circled to the left). the car finally stopped when i lifted my foot off the brake and braked again. had the car immediately towed to the honda dealership where i got it. almost a month later the car was returned to me and honda reported they allegedly found nothing wrong. i had to assume they were right and it must have been something i did wrong because i had no proof otherwise. reluctantly i started driving the car again. well this past week my daughter was driving the car in very slow traffic on a back road and the same thing happened to her. she stopped the car and the car proceeded to go forward even though her foot was fully on the brake. this time she hit the trailer hitch of the large car in front of her in line. we called american honda again and stated we do not want this car any longer. we would even be willing to trade it for another model and year. we have been told that unless we have "proof" that this is happening, there is nothing they are willing to do. this is completely unacceptable to us! what if the next time this happens, the driver is stopped for pedestrians in a cross walk and the car lurches ahead and hits and seriously injures or kills a pedestrian?? currently feeling betrayed by the brand that we have stood by for years, because they are unwilling to remove a potentially unsafe car from the streets.
This car vibrates at low idle. the vibration begins to get worse as the car warms up. stopping at lights while driving through town is embarrassing, especially when i have other people in the car with me. i usually switch the gear into neutral to avoid the shaking but i'm afraid i'll get rear-ended one day if i fail to start driving fast enough
The car vibrates while sitting a a stop sign. it is very obvious and annoying.
I was pulling into a parking space on an embankment at approximately 2 mph, when i applied the brake to stop the car, the car instead of stopping, accelerated over a 2 foot wall onto a two foor patch of grass and over the edge of a 3.5 to 4 foot embankment onto a sidewalk and then a city street. as i turned the car to the right, away from the road, while continuing to keep my foot on the brake, it came to a stop. i was lucky that i didn't get killed or kill someone
The vehicle extensively shakes when upon idling or when stopped at traffic light.
The tpms tire pressure monitoring system is giving false positive alarms when down in florida. the temperatures are higher but when checked the pressures are as specified on driver side door. when reset it is ok for a few days....then a repeat. i believe the monitor is too sensitive to pressure increases. if the pressure is right on at 72-75 degrees it should be well within specs at 85. both parked in hot lot and driving.
I purchased the 2015 crv in february 2016. the very next day vehicle began extensively vibrating while stopped at a stop light or stop sign, with the vehicle engaged in the drive gear and the brake pedal was pressed. i immediately noticed that the rpm's dropped below 500-600. the vibration is felt in both the drivers and passenger seats, but more so in the driver's seat. it feels as though the vehicle is going to stall out. i do not feel safe driving this vehicle as i have the constant fear that it is going to stall out at any given time. i have taken it in to the dealership service dealership personnel installed new radiator lower cushions, a new transmission mount, and new front head restraints. the repairs failed to eliminate the vibration.after few days i again brought my vehicle to dealership service and the service manager on duty told me that we cannot do anything more than this and state they cannot reproduce the problem so they have been of no help. this is a known problem by honda, but it appears as though they are merely brushing it off in hopes that the complaints will stop. the service department is saying that corporate people are working on it but no results i spent 25,000 dollars on this vehicle and would expect the vehicle to run good condition
1.)steering wheel vibration at highway speeds 60 2.)severe vibration for driver (whole body vibrates) while stopped with vehicle in gear. -driving mode.
This car has a vibration problem when break is applied. since there was a recall related to software problem, we have tried to fix the problem by way of recall. however, even after the software recall services, the car is still having a vibration problem when break is applied at stationary. this rattling problem is very noticeable since a water bottle in the car can show how that bad the rattling problem is.
When your stop in traffic etc car shakes and vibrates and becomes distracted.. a brand new car should not vibrate when the gear is in d and stop for yielding to people crossing stopping at red light stoping at a stop sign, etc it begins to hurt your hand from the shaking. i call honda of america and got no where a brand new 2015 car with 10 miles http://www.carcomplaints.com/news/2016/honda-tsb-15-046-2015-honda-cr-v-vibration.shtml everything there is happening to me i wish i would of never bought this car.. i should buy a messssge chair for 30k.. there is no recall for the car and i'm not sure what to do.
Our 2015 honda cr-v had been shaking while at a stop light or idle since we purchased the vehicle. we had taken it into the dealership several times and the issue wasn't fixed. apparently, we were the first customer at this dealership to experience the shaking and it was prior to the recall. they kept telling us there wasn't an issue. i was at a stop light when suddenly the car, which was stopped, but shaking, lunged forward and bumped the car in front of me. i have been driving for many years and i do not take my foot off of the brake at a stop light until the light changes and the car in front of me starts to move. i couldn't figure out how that could have happened. it felt like the car was possessed. when i arrived home i did some internet research and found out that other people had experienced the same issue. we had to run the accident through our insurance, which resulted in almost $1000 damage to the other car (mostly due to the license plate imprint on his car. i thought bumpers were supposed to just bump. don't know why there is a license plate frame in the way.) fortunately, we were both okay, but i hope this gets resolved soon so that no one gets injured. i had nightmares that the car could have lunged into someone walking through the crosswalk or forced the car in front of me to hit someone!
My wife and i purchased the 2015 cr-v ex-l awd on january 5 2016 at staten island honda. after only 11 days and 300 miles on vehicle as we were driving for a ski vacation i noticed a crackling noise when i would turn the steering wheel in either direction. i then noticed that none of the steering wheel controls worked or the radio. in addition to this my horn didnt work and my bluetooth would constantly say (htc is ok ) both my radio interface screens would always flash different maintenance malfunctions. my cellphone would also randomly connect and make calls. then as i was driving to get gas off the nj turnpike my horn started to go off non stop and i had to pull the horn fuse out from under the hood. i also noticed a very strong vibration when vehicle is idle and stopped at traffic lights on both driver and passenger side and now seems to be getting worse . our vehicle was serviced from january 19-21 and the mechanic stated that they replaced the fuses and the cable reel and said the vibration was normal. i did some further research and there is a lawsuit against honda in regards to the 2015 cr-v vibration issue. i do not feel safe driving this vehicle and feel that i was sold a $30k lemon . i have owned hondas in the past with no issues but after this experience and honda being aware of this issue and still sold these trucks the company has lost my trust. when going through my documents i noticed that i was missing alot of paperwork from my sales contract and i brought it to the attention of the sales representative. at first he said he gave us everything and then realized he didnt but didnt have access to the file room to give us the necessary documents. he stated he would get back to us and never did. so in all i would not recommend going to staten island honda due to their incompetent sales staff and i hope honda resolves all of these issues.
I was not paying attention and wanted to turn off the heat. pushed the start button and heat was still on. not thinking and pushed the start button again to turn heat off (thinking i didn't hit the button correctly) and the motor stopped while i was thankfully just on a side street. had to apply the brakes and wait to put the car in park to start again. a car in back of me had to stop because of my problem. a real safety issue.
This is my fault for assuming and not reading vehicle invoice or asking sales person, but for what paid and model and area we live in, i feel this option should have been standard. no heated outside mirrors. maybe because it has the feature that can see outside right side from inside of car on console, remotely??? but this area gets snow and ice in the winter, and, no heated mirrors will be something to get used to; maybe a safety issue??? double check so don't miss what want, i guess.
When car is on idle with drive gear , the car gets vibrate and it gets worse when air condition is turn on. the issue is vibrating and it gets worse when turn ac on. the first service was on 1/7/16 with 136 milages and the second service was on 1/19/16 with 5400 milages with no resolution. must turn headlights on to eliminate fibration
When car is on idle with drive gear , the car gets vibrate and it gets worse when air condition is turn on. after the repair of service bulletin 15-046, the issue is vibrating and it gets worse when turn ac on. the first service was on 1/7/16 with 136 milages and the second service was on 1/19/16 with 678 milages with no resolution. when i drive to work, the vibration and shaking cause my body get nauseated and headaches.
Vibrating when stop running and rpm rises when going down on a hill even whe push the brakes rises to 2500 rpm brakes or tires sound like grinding when coming to a stop
We purchased a new honda crv 2015 december of 2015. the same week we took the car home, we noticed a very strong vibration at idle when the car is in gear, for example, when stopping at a red light. the vibration is so strong that it feels as if one is sitting in a 'massaging chair'. we (my wife and i) have gotten dizzy and nauseated from the vibration. we notified the dealership and american honda immediately. since then, the dealership attempted to repair the car 5 times and was unsuccessful. i then requested them to buy the car back and they denied it. they even said that they were not going to repair my car anymore for the same issue. the last time i took the car to the dealership was saturday february, 13 2016. in the repair order, the dealership clearly states that the vibration was present after the repair.
Took vehicle for service on this date. told service tech about vibration, windows rattling when half way down, and how much air to put in tires. the tires were testing for 37 pounds but door said 32. tech came back and stated that honda was aware of the vibration issue. he stated that they checked the windows on other vehicles and all of them were doing the same thing. he also stated that it had just came up on the computer that honda could now fix the vibration issue and he would call about wednesday (9th) to let me know when the parts would be there. haven't heard from him since. cr-v still has vibration issue. tires look low with 32 pounds of air pressure. when you come to a stop, the vibration is really bad.
Vehicle vibrates at idle. vibration pronounced enough that seats shake and other loose items in vehicle visibly shaking. this occurs in drive and sport mode.
My 2015 honda cr-v is less than 2 months old and has less than 1,000 miles on it. while driving the vehicle home from the dealership i noticed vibrations/shuttering in this vehicle and it continues to this day. the vibrations/shuttering is extremely distracting. it happens both while idling and accelerating, but not all the time (but will usually occur at least once per driving trip). it is felt by both the driver and passengers in the vehicle.
The 2015 honda cr-v has an issue with vibration when the car is stopped but in gear. the seats and the floor vibrate more than any car that i have ever been in. it has caused my wife and i to get nauseous. this is a big disappointment that a brand new car would shake like an old clunker.
The vehicle experience vibration while on drive mode and stop at red lights or any others stop
