Problems with 2015 Honda CR-V UNKNOWN OR OTHER

On average, the 2015 Honda CR-V starts to “feel” problems with the UNKNOWN OR OTHER and its various aspects after 8 850 miles.

Recently reported UNKNOWN OR OTHER problems on 2015 Honda CR-V

Vibration is felt in the steering wheel and in the driver's seat (bottom and seatback) both when stopped and when driving. vibration is more pronounced when in drive with foot on the brake and the car is stopped. we have concerns over the safe control of the car, given this vibration. in addition, the real annoyance of the vibration means we take our hands off the wheel as much as possible, exascerbating safety concerns. this condition was there when the car was driven home and has been confirmed by service consultant at curry honda, atlanta.

The truck vibrates alot when it comes to a stop,at a traffic light.

When at a stop and in idle the car vibrates as if there is not enough rpm's to keep it running properly. also vibrates when driving slowly or at a lower rpm. waiting for a recall as honda has admitted that there is something wrong with the car due to the transmission and engine combination.

Shortly after i purchased my 2015 cr-v i noticed a vibration in the steering wheel when the rpms were between 1,000 - 1,200 and my foot was on the gas. the vibration disappeared when i removed my foot from the gas. i also noticed an increase in the rpms to 3,000 when going downhill with my foot off or on the brake and a loud humming noise coming from the engine compartment. the car does vibrate when idling at a red light but not enough to cause any problems yet. i only have 1,000 miles on the car and was also told by my honda dealership that honda is aware of this problem and doesn't have a fix yet. i have owned hondas since 1986 (accords) and have never experienced problems like the ones on the cr-v. i am beginning to regret buying this vehicle and agree that honda should definitely compensate cr-v owners asap. i'm beginning to worry more about additional problems as the car gets older with more mileage. haven't had it on the highway yet but am worried about similar problems other cr-v owners have experienced.

Vibration/shudder/low rpm's. noticed 2 days after driving the car home from the dealer. dealer was immediately contacted. was told to contnue driving the car, that it was probably nothing. took the car back within 2 weeks of purchase at which time i was told that honda knows about the problem and that there is no soluation at this time. they refussed to replace my brand new honda crv 2015 with a trouble fee car. and to this date (7 months later) they still have no soluation. my car vibrates and shudders all the time the rpm's are low causing a disconnect when engaging the gas peddle. honda said it's a software problem----which they knew about when they sold me the car---but again---have no solution. again, the honda crv 2015 vibrates/shudders/low rpm's when its idling or in motion----all the time!!

I have owned two previous cr-v's and honda is known as smooth, quiet vehicles. since owning this car in late march, i have had vibration noises when the car accelerates at any speed. i have contacted the dealer twice, and during the last visit in mid-august, i was told that honda is aware of this problem, but hasn't come up with a solution to fix it. i was also told the vehicle is safe to drive. however, hearing this noise every time i drive, doesn't make me feel like a happy honda owner, and having remorse on trading in my 2012 crv for this car.

Vibration at or about 2000 rpm felt in steering wheel and into the center console arm rest. reported to honda 3 times with no fixed result.

The vehicle has a terrible vibration issue when it is idling. when the car goes below a certain rpm the vibration is really bad.

Just purchased this car a month ago and had to take my car to dealer twice for severe vibrations when my car is in idle. dealer let me know that honda is aware of the issue but does not have a fix. vibrations began on near passenger seat but now can be felt in the entire car. they are distracting and cause me to be nauseous since i have a long commute in rush hour traffic. *tr

Purchased the 2015 crv in february 2015. approximately a week after making the purchase, the vehicle began extensively vibrating while stopped at a stop light or stop sign, with the vehicle engaged in the drive position and the brake pedal was pressed. i immediately noticed that the rpm's dropped below 600. the vibration is felt in both the drivers and passengers seats, but moreso in the drivers seat. it feels as though the vehicle is going to stall out. i do not feel safe driving this vehicle as i have the constant fear that it is going to stall out at any given time. i have taken it in to the dealership service center on four occasions, but they state they cannot reproduce the problem so they have been of no help. this is a known problem by honda, but it appears as though they are merely brushing it off in hopes that the complaints will stop.

Mi crv 2015 whenever i stop at enough any move all seats suv, me this is occurring from february this year and buy the truck in january , he carried the agency and he talked to staff honda motors and i have said that even have no response when will arrange and all you have to do is wait . and me if i'm paying me the suv sold as excellent . they past 6 months and i have not answered nothing.

Just like all the other complaints for the 2015 honda cr-v, while sitting at a red light, idling, the car shakes so much that i feel like i'm getting massaged. i have always loved hondas and this is ridiculous for a brand new honda. i have older vehicles than this and it runs smoother. my honda dealer states they contacted honda and they are aware of this issue but nothing has been done yet! *tr

Took delivery of my 2015 crv on 12-26-2014, noticed immediately that the car vibrated enormously at stop when in drive. also noticed compressor noises as they went in and out. master technician test drove the car and agreed that honda was aware of the problem. i get no resolution when i go in for service, it only gets worse and mums the word with honda the only thing they say is't the new transmission...... that a pile of you know what. i know cars, and worked in dealership before, there is definitely a problem here

Vehicle vibrates during mild acceleration in the 2000rpm area. steering wheel visibly shakes. have taken car to dealer and spoken to american honda. at first, they said there is no fix for the issue yet. now they seem to have shifted their response to "this is a normal characteristic". if i had been told this before i bought the vehicle, i obviously would not have bought it. this is an unacceptable problem for a $32000 car. i can imagine the depreciation from this will be substantial. i asked american honda for my money back and was told they would not do that because it is not a safety issue and doesn't affect the operation of the vehicle.

My crv vibrates when moving or when it is stopped! i basicaly own a $30,0000.00 vibrator! honda needs to fix this or it will be my last one!

Car has a vibration problem between 1000 &2000 rpm when in drive. idle rpm sometimes drops to about 500 rpm. loses power when vibration occurs. this occurs in city or highway travel.

Excessive vibration throughout entire vehicle when stopped, in drive and engine idling. this has occurred ever since we bought the vehicle in feb 2015. reported it to the dealer who said "...it's a characteristic of the vehicle". not happy with this.

Weird vibrations at rpm speed of 1000-2000. feels like the drive-line, transmission or who knows what is vibrating. very annoying in a brand new honda crv $32000 car!! no solution from dealer or honda.

When the vehicle is stopped at idle with the brake pedal engaged a serious vibration develops. as the vehicle sets the vibration increases and the rpm's drop from appx.. 600 rpm to below 200p rpm. . when the rpm's recover the vehicle pulls against the breaks. when i remove my foot from the break pedal the vibration stops. yesterday (5/19/2015) while stopped, the vehicle vibrated violently and then diesled and stalled while at a stop light. the full stall was a one time occurrence however the vehicle often approaches a stall while stopped with the brake . the vibration has been present since i purchased the vehicle in november 2014. when i took it to germaine honda, the selling dealership, in ann arbor, i was told that the vibration is a "characteristic" of the vehicle. this seems like a flimsy excuse and quite frankly problem is beginning to worry me. the stall was serious and in traffic. the vibration is very pronounced and travels throughout the chassis. i have read on the honda cr-v owner forum that this is a very common and dangerous problem. it seems that honda motors and their dealerships are simply ignoring the situation. i will take the vehicle to the dealer again next week . thank you

Car vibrates at idle, only way to fix this is to either put the car on neutral, or put load(turning on headlights, heat/ac,ect..) car cvt also makes a small whiny sound during acceleration. *tr

I back up the car out of the garage and it dies.

In jan 2015 i purchased my fourth honda since (and my second crv) for the absolute reliability, quality, durability, and peace of mind that i have always felt with the brand. that however changed dramatically on july 16, 2015 when, at approximately 2:30pm, i was driving my vehicle in a parking lot at approx 5mph. as i eased into the parking space with my foot on the brake pedal, my car suddenly lurched forward. it was with such force that the entire car went up onto the curb and into the bushes beyond. i could not stop my car! beyond these bushes was a main road with heavy traffic. intuitively, i slammed on the emergency brake, which ultimately stopped the car. my car was so entangled in the bushes that i needed to have it towed out. on july 21, the honda dealer scanned all systems for dtcs, tested brakes, and checked throttle pedal operation and found at this time the braking system, throttle system and safety override systems are functioning as designed. upon further investigation, it is apparent that unintended acceleration while braking is a well-documented issue. i contacted honda corp on july 21 and was assigned a regional case mgr who informed me that she would schedule an american honda rep to inspect my car. to date, i still await follow up action from my case mgr. this event has caused, and continues to cause, great anxiety and stress for me. i use this unreliable and unsafe vehicle daily and am constantly worried that this mechanical or electrical aberration will repeat itself, and with a less fortunate outcome.
