Steering wheels looks while on drive and all track control lights light up making it hard to control the wheel. it also slows the car down.
Intermittently my brakes will go out, most often this happens after the vehicle has been off and i turn it off and try to reverse though it also happens when in drive. it has happens on access roads, the highway, my driveway and most often in parking lots. my car will roll and be completely unresponsive to the fact that i have my foot on the brake. the brake pedal goes soft and i can press it all the way to the floor. my brake light, abs light, etc on the dashboard all light up and my car keeps rolling. i try turning my vehicle on and off as sometimes even the emergency brake or putting the car in park will not get the vehicle to stop. i have almost hit other cars and pedestrians because of this issue and it is highly dangerous and come to find out a known glitch for some 2010 ford fusions.
Middle of freeway driving, car deaccellerated and went into limp home mode. safely stopped and error cleared on restart. dealer replaced electronic throttle body, technician indicated the test graph had a spike upon testing. likely unit of failure.
While operating my vehicle from a stop to a rolling position, the transmission is not propelling the car forward like it should. i compare it to a manual transmission scenario where the clutch isn't released all the way, so the rpms rev-up, but the car moves forward a very slow pace. this has been going on for about 2 months now. nothing seems to resolve the issue. this occurs everyday, regardless of engine temperature or weather.
While taking a one lane exit on the freeway going at 30 miles per hour a wrench light came on and my car completely loss power. the car coasted until it came to a complete stop. this was very dangerous! i could have died. you guys really need to get all of there ford fusions off of the road. i could not accelerate or brake to slow on the freeway. i waited 5 minutes and the car turned on with no problem. my mechanic could not replicate the problem so he said there was no problem. while looking online this is a throttle body issue. which needs to be recalled immediately. i can't work if i can't get there with a car that i've purchased!!! i refuse to drive this car!
I have lost ability to accelerate while driving on highway and vehicle would not go above 40 mph on i-20, a 70mph road system, car jolts or jumps even without foot on accelerator so that i have no control over the car's acceleration. gas gauge jumps wildly and randomly from 22 mpg to 99 mpg. brake lights and other lighting systems remain on when car is completely shut down and headlights and interior lights are turned to off position. additionally, after the car is in park and turned off, vehicle will jump forward several inches. several additional inconsistent light issues when car is turned on and off. passenger seatbelt does not work. problems began 2018 and continue to present day. local ford dealership unconcerned and unhelpful in prioritizing the repairs after multiple calls and direct discussion with service manager.
Vehicle in motion on city streets and highways when vehicle began to stutter, not accelerate and stall then shut down. check engine light comes on and goes off randomly throwing code p2111 for throttle body being stuck open. happens intermittently without warning.
The wrench light came up on my car. it says it's the throttle control transmission. the car gave no sign or warning about this car throttle. the code coming up is p2111. i believe there was a investigation going on with my situation a few years ago. is this a recall or something that can be fixed because of a recall?
