Takata recall i have contacted dealerships several times to have this recall fixed and they keep telling me that they doont have the parts to fix the recall . it has been well over 3 years since this recall and i want my truck fix as i drive my kids in this vehicle.
This vehicle is under recall for the air bag explosion potential. i had the dealer order the replacement part over 6 months ago and they still have not received the part. i am on blood thinners so i cannot even drive my truck for fear of an accident that could easily be fatal to me.

Takata recall- immediately after receiving my recall notice, i called my local ram dealer. i was told that they were all out of parts, but i would be placed on a waitlist to have the airbag inflator replaced. i received this mailing close to a year ago, and still, no action has been taken to remedy the situation. if this recall were not something that affects safety, i would not be having a problem with the delay, but this has to do with passenger safety, and i am extremely frustrated that there still are not enough parts to have this recall fixed.

Takata recall we traveled to louisiana to bury our family member on july 13, 2016. when we returned home we had a recall notice waiting for us (passenger airbag inflator). we were confused because we had already had both driver and passenger airbags worked on from recalls. we were told this is different, this is a recall on a recall. basically, this is a interim notice and the dealership does not know when they will received a resolution to repair the airbag. this is our other main vehicle for transportation. our other vehicle is our 2009 scion xb which is on recall for the same problem. we are disgusted. we can not get any deadlines, we can not sit in the passenger seat and this problems is taking too long. we need some answers and we need them, now. we are senior citizens, we have our medical issues and we definitely do not need this kind of stress and inconvenience.

15v-313 we have a 2004 dodge ram 1500 that has all the issues i've read on here for complaints. the wind shield wipers only work on the highest setting and when turned off stop wherever on the windshield when you turn the switch to shut them off, the engine seems to be leaking oil some place, have had to replace both front wheel hub assembelies, rear end has foam in the fluid, im guessing from reading this that my rear axel is about to fly out from underneath my teuck while driving by the way it sounds and slips, and now a recall on air bags. i fear everytime i drive behind the wheel of my truck and by the sounds of it after reading all these complaints that there is good reason to fear for my life. how many people have to die before something is done. these vehicles should not be made available to drive if there this dangerous. sounds like chrysler should be buying these trucks back so all there customers dont have to risk there lives driving down the road in a poor designed vehicle the produced. not sure why there allowed to keep them on the streets being so dangerous to drive. our truck has every problem that people have complained about on here but yet only has one recall when looked up by vin. why is that?
Takata recall traveling at a highway speeds i lost control of my truck after swerving to avoid hitting a stationary uhaul truck had severe damage to the truck total it and the airbags failed. me and my gf are both alive thankfully but we had head injuries due to and airbag failure. hopefully dodge will do something about it or i will put a bad name and take other actions hopefully the rest of the the dodge will get fix before more injuries happened any help would be much appreciated thanks!
