Takata recall for driver airbag inflator have received three recall notices over the last eighteen months and have visited egolf moters in brevard, nc three times. each time they say they can get only two parts per week. today they said they are working on ausust 2015 now. they are working on a first-come-first- serve plan. "takata says the ammonium nitrate propellant doesn't cause problems until the degration process has proceeded a very long way, and then the results fairly quickly go to rupture". they say the process could take 10 years, while some lawyers say 7 years for some. shouldn't they be changing the oldest first?

Oncoming vehicle lost control came across 4 lanes to hit front of truck. dodge is totaled but air bags did not deploy. i contacted dodge to have them check them out and was told, first a special task force would come check the airbags and we would be compensated, then later was told due to the age and mileage of my truck they wouldn't but i could take it to a dodge dealership and see if they would run the test at my expense. dodge didn't seem to care why air bags didn't go off since the truck is 10 years old. *tr

I was traveling north on highway 47 following a van and some other vehicles when all of a sudden everyone locked up and by the time i saw the vehicle in front of me hit the brakes i slammed on my brakes and slid into him damaging his rear panel doors and the front end of my truck. no airbag deployed either on the driver or passenger side of the truck that i was driving. it was raining at the time and the roads were saturated so stopping abruptly was out of the question still i tried, no one was injured in the crash however the very next day i experienced this very severe nose bleed that lasted about 15-20 non stop when it finally slowed to a trickle i went to the nearby hospital emergency room. we were traveling about 40-45 mph when the crash occurred and i'm curious as to why the bags didn't deploy. *tr

My son was traveling 65 mph on an interstate when he was hit from behind on the passenger side bumper. this caused him to hit a concrete barrier on the drivers front bumper and then he bounced off of the barrier and hit another concrete barrier on the passenger side front bumper. neither frontal airbags deployed. dodge said that they sent a 3rd party investigator to look at the truck after it had been decided from the insurance company to be totaled. dodge said that there was nothing wrong with the airbags and that they did not deploy because "the airbags never deploy when a vehicle is struck from the rear first". my son sustained shoulder and neck injuries and bruising of the brain. he was going approximately 65 mph when he hit the concrete barrier and dodge says that "due to the deceleration from the rear impact the airbags were not supposed to deploy". we requested a copy of the engineers report and were turned down. *jb

The right lamps are not receiving the proper current, only receiving current while utilizing the park lamp. no brake, hazard or turn lights. ! using the test light i tested every fuse within the power distribution center which indicated in no failures or blown fuses. yet when utilizing the right blinker the relay has a muffled click that was barely audible unlike the left blinker where the relay sounded nice and strong with or without the trailer tow harnesses being utilized. upon research i found that this was a very common problem with various years of dodge lam?s. ii believe that this problem that varies in low or high mileage dodge truck?s needs to be addressed by the manufacturer due to the vast amount of complaints and queries for the same exact problems. i have been told by the dealer that the problem may be the integrated power module), $ 300.00 just so happens to control everything including most importantly the air bag system. *ak
