Takata recall: i was notified of the recall in june of 2016. the temporary remedy was to not allow any passengers to ride in the front passenger seat until the airbag had been replaced. i learned of the availability of the replacement parts in june of 2017 when i called for a third time to pursue the remedy. it was reported that the parts had become available in may of 2017, and i was notified of the remedy by toyota in july of 2017. a full calendar year is an unacceptable delay for a safety recall, and expecting toyota owners to not use their front passenger seats for a year is ridiculous. i am aware of other car companies that sent a similar recall notice and offered the remedy within two weeks. i have now had the service completed.

Takata recall i don't think that toyota is trying hard enough to remedy the defect in a reasonable amount of time. it puts my family in a difficult situation with the elimination of the front seat until repairs are made.
Takata recall i received notice on june 9, 2016 of a passenger air bag that can possibly kill if deployed. my vehicle is listed in the red zone. "time in service until significant propellant degradation may occur is projected at between 6-9 years." my vehicle is a 2010. i have repeatedly contacted sierra toyota, 43301 12 st. west, lancaster, ca 93534, but to no avail.

Takata recall why hasn't toyota fixed this yet? i first got the recall notice in early june, almost 4 months ago. since then, i have not allowed any occupant to sit in my front passenger seat, per the recommendation of toyota. this is unacceptable!!! i need my front seat. toyota needs to fix this issue immediately. how hard is it to replace an airbag inflator?
Takata recall on june 9, 2016 we received a notice of safety recall from toyota stating we were in zone a for a front airbag replacement on the passenger side of our 2010 corolla. we were advised not to use the vehicle with an occupant in the front passenger seat. to date, may 31, 2017 we have not received the replacement. this is a year of waiting to use the front passenger seat.
Takata recall. june 2016 rec'd letter from toyota that my car was part of the recall and "recommendation" not to drive with occupant in front passenger seat until remedy becomes available. i still have not been offered a fix for this problem. can't have my family or friends ride in front. therefore, my car ends up sitting and not being driven as often as it should be to maintain good performance of engine, hoses, etc. fix is taking too long. i lived in florida when i bought my car. now live in north carolina. does this make a difference. toyota is taking too long to come up with a "fix". thank you.

Takata recall - we have been waiting for almost a year for replacement part for this airbag problem in my daughter's toyota. have been renting a car for her since august, but can't continue with long term rental once she's leave for law school 300 miles away. can we please move up in the queue? thank you.
6 months ago a toyota recall notice was issued for my 2010 toyota corolla takata passenger seat airbag inflator. the dealer claims that a "remedy" still not available. i am still unable to safely carry a passenger in the front passenger seat of my toyota corolla.
Takata inflators i received a recall notice from toyota in june 2016. i have been periodically calling the dealer to find out when the repair parts would be available but i keep getting told (today included, 3/16/17) that they have no idea when the parts will be released. it has almost been a year and no resolution. this is ridiculous! my daughter refuses to have anyone ride in the passenger seat because of this. when is the federal government going to put pressure on toyota to fix this problem?

Takata recall. received an interim notice regarding passenger airbag early summer. i have called the dealer in september and again in december to inquire about repairing. was told by dealer that parts were not available and they had no idea when they would become availabke. the most they could do was put me on a list. called toyota customer service early december and again was told parts were not available and they did not know when parts would be available. we have been advised not to use the passenger seat. that response is unacceptable. a deadline needs to be in place....we could perhaps have to wait 2 years.

Takata recall. in may 2016 i was notified by mail that toyota is recalling a takata inflator on my 2010 toyota corolla. i use this car to drive my significant other and i to work and she can no longer safely occupy the front seat per the recall instructions and toyota's suggestion against it. this is detrimental to my financial situation as we now have to pay for 2 cars so we can drive places together safely. there is still no contact from toyota as to when a resolution will come.
