Recently reported POWER TRAIN problems on 2007 Toyota Camry

The 2007 toyota camry transmission "lags" and "surges". the occurrence began with a jerk while starting from a complete stop and has progressed to a surge without depression of the gas pedal. if this surge forward were to occur on a curve or bend in the road at any velocity loss of control is possible. any surge while driving in hazardous road conditions could lead to loss of control of the vehicle. with the cruise control set at 75 mph the camry surged to over 5000 rpms multiple times during a 500 highway mile road trip. consequently, the cruise control was turned off and we drove the remainder of the trip without cruise control. we serviced our camry and nothing was found to be wrong with the cruise control but an update of the ecm is needed. this update was issued by toyota due to the number of complaints pertaining to the transmission in the 2007 camry. the dealership we use for service was unaware of the update issued by toyota until we informed them of it. *jb

Tl*the contact owns a 2007 toyota camry. while driving 10 mph, the vehicle hesitates at intersections or while idling at stop signs. the vehicle has been taken to the dealer approximately ten times. the dealer replaced the cpu on the computer and the vehicle operated normally for approximately one week. the contact stated that within ten key turns, the vehicle reprogrammed itself and he must disconnect the battery to reprogram it to its original setting. the failure remains uncorrected. the vin was unknown. the failure mileage was 200 and current mileage was 10,000. updated 02-12-08 *bf the dealer stated replaced instrument panel assembly, a/c vent closest to steering wheel is loose, and hesitation between first and 2nd gear. updated 02/12/08 *tr

While pulling into a parking lot on an incline the vehicle hesitated (did not accelerate) for 1-2 seconds while in the path of crossing traffic before lurching and accelerating into the parking lot at too high of speed. the hesitation and lurching occurred as the vehicle seemed to be searching for the right gear. this is becoming a more and more common occurrence during city driving (i.e. less than 40 mph). vehicle dealership tried to adjust this issue via software download over a month ago.(tsb eg056-06 recalibrate ecm) the technician said this download might solve the problem. since then the problem has become more common than before at low speeds, but less frequent at higher speeds. they acknowledged that this is a common problem with all 2007 4 cyl vehicles with ect, but no official fix has come from toyota. i have been having problems like this with the vehicle since purchase in march of 2006. the dealership and toyota have been notified numerous times about this issue and no resolution yet. my concern is that during winter the hesitation and/or lurching will contribute to a loss of control of the vehicle on snow or ice. *jb

Events leading to failure: automatic transmission exhibited 3rd-4th gear shift flare when cold daily after new car put into service. dealer repaired by replacing transmission valve body per mfgr tsb. failure: after valve body replacement, transmission developed new problem (and original shift flare problem persisted). after decelerating from 30 mph to 10 mph and coasting, made right turn at intersection and then depressed accelerator about 20% down. powertrain did not engage - vehicle was essentially in neutral, and began slowing down. disengaged condition persisted 2-3 seconds. then, a thunk was heard, the transmission engaged, and the vehicle harshly jolted forward. this defect is dangerous because loss of power for 2-3 seconds when attempting to accelerate could lead to an accident, especially if it occurs during lane changes, avoidance maneuvers, etc. what was done to correct failure: no action yet taken. will return to dealer for additional repairs. *nm

At 200 miles noticed slippage in transmission. reported problem to dealer, but was ignored and told that the computerized system needed to get adjusted to the driver. over a period of time the problem worsened in spit of complaints to the service center. on 11/16/06 the car was finally taken in for repairs (i was told by a customer rep. that there was a valve that was defective and toyota would replace it. the car was expected on 11/17/06, but due to a problem it was set for delivery on 11/18/06 at 9am. when i went to picked up the car the service director said that they could not fixed the problem, and the transmission would have to be replaced. i was shocked and disappointed at this new development. toyota arrogance and the dealerships incompetence and impolite response to my initial concerns is inexcusable. the matter at this time is unresolved since i no longer want this car. *nm

I purchased a 2007 toyota camry, v-6, in july 2006. in november 2006, i started having problems with the transmission. very often, when the transmission shifts from 2nd to 3rd gear, the transmission hesitates, the tachometer jumps around 1500 and the car does not move for a short time. this happens on a daily basis. i have had the car into the dealer, 4 or 5 times, and have gone on test drives. when the problem happened, i was told that's the way the transmission works. i have called toyota on two separate occasions. i have been told that there is no software update or tsb for this problem. the last person i spoke with (last month), told me it is a design flaw, but toyota has not done anything to correct the problem. i consider this a safety issue, since i don't always get the acceleration that i need. consumer reports reported on this problem in their december 2007 issue. they received negative information from readers about the v-6 transmission. i have been told by toyota that there is nothing they can do at this time. *tr

I own a 2007 toyota camry le with a 4 cylinder engine and 5 speed transmission. the transmission has a significant hesitation problem when trying to accelerate such as getting through an intersection. the hesitation is so severe that i have to adjust my driving pattern to avoid having an accident. *jb

Dt*: the contact stated while depressing the accelerator pedal from a stop or during a turn there was a hesitation. the dealership could not determined the cause of the problem and there were no repair performed.

I own a 2007 toyota camry le 4-cylinder purchased 8/29/06. after a hew hundred miles, the car began to noticeably hesitate while pressing the gas. i noticed this while leaving work one morning. i was crossing an intersection, pressed the gas and the car hesitated for approximately 2 seconds before regaining power accelerate. ever since this incident, this car has continued to hesitate when coming to a slow stop and then accelerating to clear an intersection. when the power is needed, it's not there and i have had some close calls do to this loss in power. when coming to a slow stop to make a turn, and then accelerating after the turn, the car lags before gaining speed and you can hear the transmission hunting to get back into gear. when driving in stop and go rush hour traffic, the car hesitates when the gas is pressed and the car lurches forward shortly after that. this makes this car somewhat dangerous to control in tight areas such as rush hour traffic. i have taken this vehicle to a local toyota dealership on 11/1/06 to have tsb tsb eg056-06 (software flash) performed on my vehicle to assist with the improvement of the shift points. after this was completed, i really did not notice a difference in the shifting points. the following morning when crossing the same intersection i normally cross, the car hesitated severely again, in my opinion slightly longer than before the tsb was implemented. it is disconcerting to know that you can not predict how your car will perform in normal driving situations, therefore, i am nervous when driving this car anywhere at anytime. i have never owned or driven a vehicle that hesitated consistently like this and i hope this is an issue that can be fixed in an expedited time frame as this is a very serious safety concern while driving this vehicle. *jb

Dt*: the contact stated while traveling various speeds, the vehicle hesitated when shifting gears. the contact stated the vehicle felt as if the gear was in neutral when the hesitation occurred. on 12/07/06, the vehicle was taken to the dealer, who could not identify the cause of the problem. the contact filed a complaint with the manufacturer on 12/07/06. the contact expressed the quick hesitation could occur while crossing an intersection, and pose a severe safety risk.

I have a 2007 toyota camry that i purchased new. since new the automatic transmission hesitates when the car is slowed to about 20mph and when you try to accelerate nothing happens for a few seconds before it resumes. the dealer said they cannot do anything about it and that's the way a "drive by wire" transmission works. i called the toyota hotline and got nowhere. i seems that i am not the only one with this complaint. the internet is loaded with dissatisfied owners. i think toyota should be made to address this problem because it is a safety issue. i've bought at least twenty new toyotas over the yrs and never had a problem like this. it occurs all the time. *tr

Speed control is unstable. when the speed control is on at highway speed, the slightest grade i.e. from an overpass, causes the transmission to downshift one or two gears. then the car will accelerate beyond the setspeed and then upshift. the car will then be unable to maintain speed again, downshift one or 2 gears, and once again accelerate beyond the set speed, repeating over and over and worsening each cycle. driving the same road with the speed control off is relatively normal. this car also has a moderate hesitation problem. pulling out from a side street, the car barely accelerates until rpms reach 2200, then accelerates normally. this has been since new. coasting down a long grade with speed control off, the car will surge. returned to the toyota dealer who said there is nothing wrong. *tr

When car is accelerated from dead stop, as car passes 20 mph, the car surges, hunts for gear, up shifts and downshifts wildly and sporadically, lurching and over-revving to 5,000 rpm or higher. car cannot be safely driven. when placing car in park the car jumps forward. i am concerned about the safety of the vehicle for my family. toyota said this issue is normal and the car has to get used to the way we drive it. car going back into the shop. *jb

From the time i purchased the car i noticed that when i floored the gas pedal or just stepped on it to pass a car, there would be a hesitation of 4-5 seconds before it would wind up and then go. i talked to the dealer who said that yes they were having problems with the early models of 2007's and he got approval from toyota to replace the transmission. this did not fix the problem, i went back to the dealer and they stated that a new program needed to be installed on the transmission. they did it but it is still the same. on 10-25-08 i went to the dealer to again complain and they said that i would just have to live with it. i feel that this is a safety issue because when you accelerate you need the car to respond, which it will not do. *tr

07 camry le 4 cyl throttle and acceleration is horrific. during acceleration, when you take your foot off the pedal and then accelerate again a long unrepsonsive delay takes place. also very unrepsonsive during acceleration. have almost been rear ended many times. very dangerous. *nm

Need to accelerate at a lane merge on the free way. in response to pushing on the accelerator pedal, the car failed to respond (hesitated and took several repeated attempts to increase the speed).....failure to quickly accelerate without hesitation can result in death on the free highway! dealer was responsive..(recalibrate ecu engine and transmission - "aper tsb# eg056-06) and was told: "condition is much better now but there will always be some hesitation....it's normal". hesitation condition improved slightly.....but the defect is still there (accelerates well at lower speeds but at speaks of 35 and above...if you suddenly need to accelerate more to avoid a dangerous situation......the car does not respond!). jan 3rd, 2007; i went to a different dealer and test driven a camry le (same as the one i own) and found out it got the same defect. *nm

When accelerating, car stops dead for few seconds before trans engages and propels forward like a rocket. when trying to pass, depressing gas pedal, trans stops dead then propels forward at high rate. when slowing down, trans propels faster before slowing. *nm

2007 toyota camry le, 4 cyl. very long hesitation in acceleration/reaction time at all speeds. severe safety risk with no apparent solution. *jb

From day one i had concerns with the transmission performance. it shifts very abruptly, up or down, at low speeds. hesitation is frequent and slippage occurs when trying to cross an intersection on merge into traffic, causing dangerous situations. i took it to the dealer, who claimed many times that it was normal, i must drive it more for the car to learn my driving habits. i filed a complaint with toyota, a representative drove the car, and express they would allow me to trade the vehicle, but later did not. after driving 3000 miles, took it back to dealer, now i was told that the car know my driving habits and when i try anything unexpected, it will not respond, this is "normal". also stated that i do not know how to drive this "new" non-wire vehicle, but i have driven for 40 years, and that is now a liability. i got tired of taken the vehicle to dealer, and arguments that end up in being my fault, short comings or lack of understanding; the car is fine and operates as it supposed to. i will just get out of this nightmare as soon as financially possible and will never buy or allow any one i know to buy any other toyota product (or lexus). *jb

Vehicle hesitates while acceleration at about 20-40 mph. then the car jerks forward. this is dangerous if you need to move right away. toyota doesn't know what is wrong with this transmission i been in the dealer every weeks since the first day i gave that car. xle . *nm

Transmission on the 2007 camry le v6 does not shift gears properly. when gas is pressed to accelerate, car does not shift in to gear. can cause rear end collision when car suddenly lurches into gear. this also happens with the se and le 4 cyl. vehicles. *jb

I purchased a 2007 camry le in late april. from the day i took delivery, there appeared to be a problem with acceleration; there were dead spots. that led to long 3 to 5 seconds lag times before the car would respond when pressing down on the accelerator. also, the transmission shifted into overdrive when a steady acceleration was all that was needed. i finally took it to the dealer today; i thought that i would allow a 'break-in' period to see if the problem resolved itself. the moment that i began to describe the problem, i was stopped and asked if it was a 2007 camry le. an affirmative response brought an answer that there is nothing that they can do; it had been reported to toyota. apparently to deflect what must have looked like rising anger, i was told that the service manger's daughter has the same problem. a call to toyota of america brought a response that the vehicle is operating as it was designed (so, i guess it was designed to stall when making a right or left turn, changing lanes on the interstate, trying to go forward, etc). my anger is 1) that they sold me a defective car, 2) that they know it is a factory defect but choose not to fix the problem (i can't believe that they are still 'thinking' about a solution), and 3) that i wasn't notified of this rather major defect (and why is toyota allowed to continue to sell these cars without the caveat that there is a factory defect that has not been repaired and toyota has no plans to provide a repair)? i have looked at over a dozen web sights where members have complained, but i have not seen a mention of the reason for the problem or a solution of what to do. someone is going to be killed by this erratic behavior. *jb

I bought a 2007 camry (6 cylinder) with 6 speed transmission in sept. 2006. the transmission slips between 3rd and 4th gears when it is cold. it works normally after it has warmed up, although it seems to be somewhat indecisive, especially when accelerating. it has been back to the dealership for normal service three times. it has 15,300 miles on it now. the dealer service department wants to reprogram the computer but does not seem very confident the reprogramming will help. i will try this before i trade it for a new honda accord. so far no situations involving safety have occurred. *tr

Car hesitates and automatic transmission shifts abruptly at highway speeds (55-65 mph). hesitation is particularity alarming. if i needed to accelerate quickly from a stop, this car would not respond. dealer states they have never heard of these problems, yet the hesitation on the 2007 toyota camry is well documented on web sites (edmunds etc.). dealer also tried to pass off this defect as "this is a drive by wire car and you may not be used to how they operate". i have been driving for 35 years and have never had cars operate in this manner. if drive by wire is the problem, then this technology should not be allowed on cars. *jb

Tl* the contact owns a 2007 toyota camry. the contact stated that while driving approximately 25 mph, the vehicle would hesitate before jerking into the next gear. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the contact was informed that they could not perform any repairs because the vehicle was operating as intended. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure, but offered no assistance. the failure mileage was 12,087.

My 2007 camry le (4-cyl) hesitates when accelerating, sometimes 2-3 seconds, to the point that it seems unsafe. the technician said that it is designed to have an "adaptive memory" meaning that if i drive conservatively, with normally no quick acceleration, that it "remembers" that and will not accelerate quickly when i want it to. *nm

Car hesitates when shifting into a higher gear, it does it around 35 miles per hour. sometimes it shifts very hard lunging you forward. sometimes when you put it in reverse it goes into reverse very hard. the brakes continue to squeal, hardware has been replaced twice. the transmission shifting hesitation has occurred over 250 times. i am starting to get nervous driving it i am afraid someone that might be tailgating might hit me in the rear. *jb

I brought the car to the service department on 05/16/07, and they reprogrammed the ecm( engine control module). the car seemed to be much better in terms of erratic shifting and acceleration. i would suggest to anyone with a similar problem to have this procedure done.*ak

I have a 2007 camry le and experience a delay in acceleration from a stop to 25 mph. it does not occur all the time but i've experience it 4 times in the last 5 months. the car hesitate for about 3 seconds before starting to move. one time an suv had to steer to avoid me as i was making a left turn. this seems to be common base on the complains i've seen on this website. *nm

Camry automatic transmission fails when accelerator pressed during passing other vehicles or accessing highways. nearly causes rear-end collisions. *nm

2007 camry hesitates to accelerate from ramp to interstate or into traffic on busy streets. very dangerous. dealership states that the car needs to self-adjust to my driving habits in its computer. it still hesitates on occasion after two years of owning it. dealership denies being able to reproduce the problem when they test-drive it. *tr

2007 camry 4 cyl. automatic - this car has a serious lag in response time when you are accelerating - whether it be when going up a hill, pulling out in traffic, or changing lanes to pass a slower car. you are in danger of getting rear-ended!dealership said this is the way it is designed. very dangerous! *nm

On 08/05/2006 i was driving my new 2007 toyota camry on the freeway at 3:00 am then my car dropped to the ground i could see the tire was passing us. slowly i moved the car to the emergency lane. after checking i saw the rear left tire had broken from the axle. toyota does not cover. they are playing with me saying some body will come after two weeks to inspect my car, then they change within one month. i do not know what to do. i am sure that is manufacturer's defect and they have to be very serious. i and my family were lucky that happened at night when no car was behind us, otherwise they could have been killed. now i do not know what to do. *jb

I have had my computer "software" re-installed 2x to attempt to fix a lack of acceleration. several times (making a left turn) while starting from a stop, the car will hesitate for 2-4 seconds, giving approaching cars enough time to come close to hitting my car. this has happened numerous times. i am afraid to drive this car and am not in a financial position to trade it in yet or sell it outright. i owe too much on the loan yet to do so, making it a difficult decision with my family/children. i have noticed that the slow acceleration is more so in warm weather. it doesn't seem to flare-up over wintertime. coincidence? i also wanted to mention that the last time my software was re-set, on the way home, the engine began ro race and it felt like a brick was on the gas pedal. the engine raced for about 10 seconds and then felt like it "shifted" back to normal rpm's. i was going down a hill when this happened. *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2007 toyota camry. while approaching a freeway, the vehicle hesitated for approximately three to four seconds. he slammed on the brakes to keep from entering the freeway in front of an eighteen wheeler. toyota advised him "to adjust his driving habits and get used to it". the contact is terrified to drive the vehicle. the engine size was unknown. the current mileage is 400 and failure mileage was 140. the consumer provided the repair invoices. updated 09/07/07 *tr

I recently purchased a 2007 toyota camry le, 4 cylinder passenger car. when accelerating from a stop, there are times the vehicle will not move and i experience a serious hesitation of acceleration. the rpms don't even appear to be revving up, its like there is nothing there. i had one experience where i was making a left turn, and the car did nothing, almost got hit by an oncoming vehicle. both my husband and i have experienced these numerous times. dealership took vehicle in, said they could find nothing wrong. this problem is an intermittent problem, but it does exist. *jb

When car is accelerated from one gear to the next, the car hesitates to accelerate and suddenly jerks. it's very dangerous while merging onto highway or try to pick up speed at a stop sign. i am very disappointed experiencing this from a brand new camry. *jb

Tl*the contact owns a 2007 toyota camry. when the contact applied normal pressure to the accelerator pedal while at a complete stop, the vehicle hesitated and lurched forward. he has taken the vehicle to the dealer on numerous occasions and they repaired the tcm. however, all remedies to date have been insufficient in correcting the failure. the failure mileage was 1,941 and current mileage was 12,878.

Hesitation on acceleration- after exiting the interstate and turning corner, i continued to roll but the 07 camry le 4 cyl did not respond. approximately, 50 yards later, the car accelerated. *nm

2007 toyota camry *gr ***consumer has attached a complaint from another consumer *gr the consumer stated he had two corrections done to the throttle system and the acceleration which is still not normal, but acceptable compared to what it was originally. the cruise control was still faulty, but the consumer devised a way to work around the problem, not convenient but it worked. the consumer also complained about a delayed acceleration problem. the acceleration delay moved from 0 rpm to about 2000 rpm where it would go flat for about two seconds and then raced to about 4,000 rpm before settling down. *jb

1 -2007 toyota camry 4 cyl auto. vehicle has a bad acceleration delay 2_ almost hit by a big truck from the back as the car stood almost still for a few seconds. 3. tsb ego56-06 was performed (so i was told) but did not change anything. *jb

I'd like to file a complaint related to toyota's refusal to respond to their 2007 camry le, 4 cylinder hesitation problems. symptoms include (1) poor acceleration, (2) hesitation when accelerating (3) "automatic" shifting of the transmission when driving with cruise control on flat roads and (4)poor gas mileage. the hesitation is very dangerous; pulling out out in front of other vehicles or merging into trafic could be treacherous when the hesitation occurs. i have experienced this situation on several occasions and fortunately have not been involed in an accident yet but i sure others have! in addition to the dangerous situations, i am very disappointed that toyota has failed to notify customers of these issues. i called toyota in june, 2006, when my camry le(4 cylinder) had 1000 miles and questioned the "transmission" concern but was told that problems only related only to the 6 cylinder camry autos. since then i have struggled with the hesitating issues and am shocked that i was not made aware of "know" problems when my was has been serviced at my local toyota dealer. recently i was surprised to see many comments related to this issue on edmunds camry forums. i am now proactivetively researching and waiting for toyota to respond before i elevate the issue as a lemonlaw battle in new york. please, for safety sake, make toyota inform innocent 2007 owners before serious accidents occur. representatives at my local toyota dealer, stevens in huntington, new york, claim that they are not aware of the problem and toyota (usa) appears to be dragging their feet on notifying and elevating the issues! after several calls to the dealer and toyota(usa) i still am waiting to be contacted. sincerely john fleming 15 holiday park drive hauppauge ny 11788 631 360-3832. *nm

This complaint is re: a new 2007 toyota camry le 4 cylinder with automatic transmission. this car will hesitate for a long period of time before accelerating from virtually any speed (behavior not seen when accelerating from dead stop), regardless of how hard the driver presses the gas pedal. problem occurs when moving at virtually any speed and then quickly pressing and holding the gas pedal down so as to accelerate quickly. this behavior is not like any other car i have ever driven, including a rental 2005 4 cylinder camry that i drove for a week in the colorado mountains last summer (2005). safety issue is that car is unpredictable in situations where one must move the car to avoid traffic. example: rolling forward into a left turn at a green light intersection, press gas to clear the intersection before oncoming traffic gets too close, the car did not increase engine revolutions and took over 1 sec. to drop into lower gear and begin to increase engine revolutions/accelerate. the car's failure to respond to gas pedal input was so long that i would have had an accident if i had persisted in the left hand turn; i had to turn the car parallel to oncoming traffic to avoid hitting the oncoming car. this behavior is repeatable and the delay can be up to 2 sec. in length before the car even begins to accelerate. this behavior is also seen by numerous other owners of '07 camrys as can be seen in postings on www.edmunds.com (click on forums tab and search for "camry hesitation"). the issue is not one of lack of horsepower. the issue is long and unpredictable response to throttle input. there are also very annoying drivable issues with this car that are related to transmission/engine behavior, but i am addressing only the safety issue in this complaint. efforts to resolve issue have not been successful; toyota's response has been that the car is operating "normally" and "as designed." if so, there is a designed-in safety issue with this car. *jb

Car hesitates badly and cruise control downshifts constantly. *jb

My 2007 camry le automatic transmission (4 cylinder) constantly hesitates when pulling out into intersections, or continuing through an intersection after red lights or stop signs. there have been several close calls when vehicles have had to move around mine to avoid a collision. the vehicle halts at 10-30 mph when it's shifting and continually places my family in harms way. the dealership told me that this is common with the new automatic transmission and there is nothing that can be done. my wife was almost rear ended when the vehicle stopped accelerating for approximately 5-10 seconds! *nm

Dt*: the contact stated the automatic transmission was unable to change gears. the service dealer determined the vehicle needed a new transmission. updated 12/28/2006 - the transmission would not shift from second to third gear or from third to fourth. *nm

2007 camry xle had performance issues, sluggish when accelerating. *ts shortly after the consumer took delivery of the vehicle he noticed sluggish acceleration, transmission problems and deceleration a times. the vehicle was taken back to the dealer. the vehicle was put on a scanner and test driven. the results were given to toyota engineers who indicated that the vehicle was performing properly. the consumer was never able to have the vehicle repaired so he traded it in for another vehicle. *nm

I noticed shortly after purchasing my new 2007 toyota camry that the car hesitated on acceleration. i originally thought that it was because it was new. i also own a 1993 camry, which has never given us a problem. besides gas and oil changes this car still runs well. had i known that this newer model was going to be scary to drive i would have never purchased it. like so many others, i was told by the dealer that there was nothing wrong with my vehicle. it continues to hesitate when you need to accelerate quickly, in reverse it flies out of the garage even when not pressing on the gas...i refuse to let my 16 year old drive it and firmly believe that there is a design problem. ps i also had to have my tires changed after only a few thousand miles, they were completely worn. *tr

The "design" of how the vehicle is to operate and driving performance issues. poor acceleration, hesitation, automatic shifting of the transmission when driving. gas mileage is not as manufacturer stated. front tires wore out at 15k miles. per the dealership no front end problems found and do not know why the tires wore out so quick while the back tires are still good. constant pulling of the vehicle. if i hit a bump the car and steering wheel jerks to one side or the other. acceleration and hesitation is a safety issue. speed overshoot after hesitation. transmission seems to stop working when trying to accelerate. the dealership states this is how the vehicle is designed to run. i was not informed of the bulletin issued in sept 2006 regarding a download of new computer software or of the fact toyota was aware of all the issues mentioned. to my understanding it did not help any of the issues. overall the vehicle is hard to drive for fear of wrecking. i am checking into lemon law. the dealerships do not know how to fix these manufacturing problems. i have had these problems since the purchase of the vehicle and still are on going.

Car hunts for gear around 2,000 rpms and hesitates a lot. others have told me that the 2007 4 cyl. automatic "all do it. *jb
