Tl* the contact owns a 2015 nissan rogue. while driving approximately 55 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning and was unable to be restarted. once restarted, the vehicle was shifted into reverse and the vehicle stalled again. additionally, while the vehicle was idling at traffic lights, the rpms would idle at a low rate with the vehicle almost at the point of stalling. the vehicle also hesitated when accelerating from a stop. the vehicle was towed to nissan of stockton (located at 3077 e hammer ln, stockton, ca 95212, (209) 956-6500) to be diagnosed, but the mechanic was unable to retrieve a fault code or duplicate the failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the contact stated that the failure occurred six times daily. the manufacturer was contacted. the approximate failure mileage was 27,000.

I have already registered a complaint involving equipment failure and safety. my 2015 nissan rogue does not have interior heat even when the controls are set at 90 degrees. in trying combinations of air-flows as instructed by my dealer, i had to look down to make sure i was pushing the right buttons. talk about distracted driving. when i looked back up, i had just enough time to slam on my brakes so that i would not rear end a logging truck (that was about a 1/2 to full block away when i first looked down) definitely a safety issue in my mind. more importantly: last night i was driving home from a night class (about 7 miles). weather conditions were light snow and light freezing mist. had my temp. set at 90 degrees and controls at full defrost and full fan blower. my windshield continued to ice up because of lack of heat to melt the freezing mist. visibility got so poor i difficulty seeing through my windshield. tried to control the vision by spraying windshield washer fluid using wiper controls. this helped. i cannot believe there has not yet been recall for this heating problem. especially since there are so many other drivers that i have read about on the internet that have experienced the same problems of lack of heat. between being a distracted driver trying to continually change control settings as well as an unsafe driver due to visibility issues as explained earlier, i believe there should be a recall making this a nissan repair issue rather than a consumer repair issue (cost). i hope you can help me and many others.

Interior heat barely warm with temp set at 90. dealer reprogrammed air door positions & heat lasted 1 day. 2nd visit to dealer instructed to change flow positions (switch from outside air to cabin recirculation). windows steamed up; told use ac to dry out air. would like to see a recall for these safety concerns: 1. playing around with buttons to change air flow is distracted driving, having to keep looking down to see which button to try next to get heat to clear window steam (driving city blocks or down the freeway while looking at which combo of heat control buttons to try next) 2. with cabin circulation turned on, windows can stam up suddenly like driving thru fog, until i locate the defrost button, but then i lost heat. 3. safety concern with putting on defroster and not having heat with winter driving; it is scary to have snow falling & although there is enough air to clear steamed windows, there isn't enough heat to melt snow/ice etc. from windshield. surfing the internet, i see i am not alone with this issue. i also learned there is a service bulletin for faulty or improper operation of hvac. the price to repair this is nearly $700 if the car is no longer under warranty. although this may seem like more of a "comfort" issue than a safety issue in keeping interior temperature reasonable, but when a person keeps the setting at +90 degrees and the air blowing out is barely warm, when the windows steam up because of improper air circulation, and when a windshield cannot be cleared of snow or ice creating poor visibility while driving, then i believe this is a safety issue that warrants a recall.

Loss power while driving , radio shut down about one minute late power back on , but clock set to 1am all the radio station you stored was gone , everything need to re-set

Recall 16v-244 malfunction of occupant classification system electronic control unit: system does not recognize adult in passenger seat. nissan "fixed" this system in 2016. it may have been working properly before their "fix". it is now not working and has not been working properly for quite a while and nissan north america will not "fix" it again, as they expect me to pay the diagnostic fee at a minimum. i will not agree to that. they need to conduct the diagnosis at their cost and fix the recall again. this action by nissan north america smells like a scam. what should i do? last contact with nna was on 2/19/18

During a cold season, there was fog and ice on the windshield and i turned on the defroster to clear it. the heating function of the defroster failed, and i could not clear the windshield or keep it clear as i drove.

Tl* the contact owns a 2015 nissan rogue. while driving various speeds, the instrument panel displayed that the front driver side door was unlocked. the contact stated that it was cold outside and the warning indicator illuminated continuously. the vehicle was taken to rockaway nissan (600 burnside ave, inwood, ny 11096) where it was diagnosed that the failure occurred due to a dent on the driver's door. the contact stated that there was no visible dent or impact to the door to cause the failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 79,115.

The car has a keyless operation. after service an reprogramming for a cvt issue, the engine failed to start after sitting in the garage overnight. in order to start, the brake must be engaged before pushing the start button. this did not work and the start engine light did not come on. pushing the start button resulted in clicking noise but the solenoid (if this car has one) did not engage. after trying several times and turning lights on and off, the car starts. i am concerned that the ignition would disengage while driving. once the vehicle started, it did not shut off until i turned it off; but i haven't tested driving it. the car never did this until the computer reprogramming done this past thursday february 24th when i had the car service before leaving on a trip.

Tl* the contact owns a 2015 nissan rogue. the contact stated that the air bag off warning indicator illuminated while the seat was being occupied. the vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was serviced per nhtsa campaign number: 16v244000 (air bags), but the failure recurred. in addition, when the front driver and passenger side windows were rolled up or down, the windows hesitated to operate and an abnormal clicking sound emitted from the vehicle. the vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the window regulators needed to be replaced. the vehicle was repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the failure mileage was 19,000.

Same issue as described in nhtsa id number: 10903208 car does not pick up my key fob. i can be trying to enter my truck and it wont pick it up. i have to take it out my pocket and click the open button. i have been in my car and trying to start it and it wont start. it says key not detected. however, the key is in my pocket. it wont start. i have to take out the fob and re-sync to get the vehicle to pick up the key. very odd. the vehicle was not on...stationary.

Tl* the contact owns a 2015 nissan rogue. while driving various speeds or upon starting the vehicle, the chassis control module, check engine, and traction control warning indicators illuminated. also, the "see owner's manual" message was displayed on the instrument panel. the vehicle was taken to nissan of picayune (239 frontage rd, picayune, ms 39466 (601) 889-5454) where it was diagnosed that the throttle body needed to be replaced. the vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred three days later. the vehicle was taken back to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the ecm needed to be replaced. the vehicle was repaired a second time, but the next day, the warning indicators and message reappeared. the contact took the vehicle back to the dealer a third time and was informed that the wiring harness between the throttle body and ecm needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired because the dealer could not guarantee that the failure would not recur. a few months later, the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who could not diagnose a failure and referred the contact to nhtsa. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failures. the approximate failure mileage was 65,000.

The air conditioning regularly stops working and will blow out warm air. we have taken the vehicle to dealerships and mechanics and they cannot replicate the problem as it requires some period of driving before it will stop working. sensors and wires have been replaced. coolant level is fine and this has been happening over the past two summers.

I have noticed on several occasions that my car does not pick up my key fob. i can be trying to enter my truck and it wont pick it up. i have to take it out my bag and click the open button. i have been in my car and trying to start it and it wont start. it says key not detected. however, the key is around my neck. it wont start. i have to hit the button several times...on and off...to get the truck to pick up the key. very odd. the vehicle was not on...stationary. the last time this happened was sunday.

Tl* the contact owns a 2015 nissan rogue. while attempting to use the push to start feature, the vehicle did not to start. after multiple attempts, the vehicle was able to start. while driving, the push start warning light illuminated. the manufacturer was not notified and no repairs were made. the failure mileage was 5,000.

I don't know how to explain other than saying it seems car is not grounded correctly. when i use atms while sitting in car i get a painful shock. tried several locations to see if that was the problem. now open door rather than reach through door window. really a strong shock. the car is running bit either in drive with brakes on or park.

Tl* the contact owns a 2015 nissan rogue. the contact stated that while attempting to use the push to start feature, the vehicle hesitated to start. the contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 15v775000 (power train) however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. the contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure. the failure mileage was 9,300. part distribution disconnect.

When sitting in running vehicle at drive-up locations such as fast-food restaurants, bank, or atm, a violent static shock discharges when upon first touch of a metal surface or when making physical contact with the window attendant. this is a strong, audible shock that can be painful for up to 10 minutes. the other person usually exclaims aloud and recoils. dealer has checked all electrical systems and has tried anti-static spray on seats with no results. this is not a result of my personal chemistry, as i have no problems in my other two vehicles. this problem has occurred ever since the vehicle was new, and happens 100% of the time. the rogue only has 21,000 miles now (sept 2017).
