For no apparent reason, seat belt warning chimes does not work anymore , when seatbelt is not engaged. my car is under 36000 miles but already having this kind of an issue. needs to be a recall.
The middle seat belt buckle in the backseat will not unbuckle. the metal part will come as much as halfway out, but cannot fully be released from the buckle. this seat belt is rarely used, but now no one can sit there because it is permanently engaged. the vehicle was stationary. we were trying to load five people in the car. the person in the middle seat wanted to move. they could not remove the seat belt. we had to stretch the seat belt and have them climb out of the locked seat belt. obviously if this had been an emergency situation, the occupant would have been trapped in the seat belt.
I cannot buckle my passenger side seat belt because the belt will not allow me to pull to get more belt.
Driving down chemawa rd ne, then a vehicle heading in the opposite direction turned left onto chetco ct ne right infront of us. my vehicle was traveling at 30mph when we impacted the other vehicle. no air bags deployed on either driver or passenger side and seat belts did not lock up causing passenger to hit the dash board with their right arm. other vehicles side air bags did deploy.
Driving on highway and after about 2 hours, car loses speed in middle of traffic pressing gas but car responds like it would hitting the gas in neutral. had to coast off to a gas station. upon searching the internet founf the problem is very common and a sensor malfunctioning shuts the cvt. it advised wait 5 minutes and it would reset. did that and was able to go on. was very scary in traffic with cars on all sides of me
I was driving back home from from the store my two year old daughter was in the back seat in the car seat properly strapped. the drive is about a ten minute drive back to our home. as i was driving i noticed my daughter hit very quite when i️ turned around she had wrapped the adult shoulder seat belt strap around her neck three times and was starting to choke. currently i am nine months pregnant as had to untangle her while i was driving to keep her from choking. this issue is of extreme concern to me and my family as she is two years old and i have the proper car seat for her and i found she had wrapped the seat belt around her neck three times in a matter of seconds this could easily have lead to severe trauma and death let me know what documentation you need to begin an investigation on this i have the car seat model and another vehicle that i use the same model car seat with and my daughter cabrera even reach the adult seat belt please let me know what steps need to occur to get this issue resolved by nissan. vehicle was in motions within the city.
Issue with the front passenger seat on a 2015 nissan rogue. the issue is that a full-size adult (150 and 240 pounds) can be in the seat the passenger airbag indicator indicates the front passenger airbag is off. there is no airbag warning light on the dash. i've taken it to the nissan dealership several times and the computer and airbag system has been flashed, but did not fix the problem. since then the dealship has pushed me off, even with photos and evidence of this happening. i have threaten them with a lawsuit because they will not look further in to it, if the airbag does not deploy when a full-size adult is in the seat. i will be taking the vehicle to a different dealership this week, because this issue is continue to happen. i am currently an pursuing an electrical engineering degree at the university of south carolina and will continue to use their resources to i find someone who will resolve the issue. the only resolution for this issue, when it happens, is to park the car and turn it off, let it sit, and turn the car back on to see if the airbag light is on or not. the car has currently 43,068 miles and is still under warranty. also all recalls and maintenance is completed at a nissan dealership. i've also had issues with seat belt light in the dash says that someone is un-buckled while everyone in the vehicle is actually bucckled, and has been buckled.
I was involved in a car accident with $12,863 worth of damaged to the front of my car. driver air bag did not go off..i hit the sterring wheel so hard that i fractured a rib and a swollen chest inside and out..about 8 months after i bought it there was a recall on the passenger side air bag but i am thinking that the driver side should be checked as well. i was going thru a green light on a city street and a lady ran the red light coming from the other way. i braked and laid on the horn when i saw her coming out and swerved my car but couldn't avoid her. first it was a no fault but then she was proven to go thru the red light. lucky i had my seatbelt on but that didn't even stop me from hitting the steering wheel hard!!
Respected officer, driver's side seat belt chime not working if seat belt is not latched - i am noticing happening for about 1 year. engine is making lot of vibration and sound when idle - this is happening shortly soon after i bought this car 08/2015. there is a moving object detection system which sometimes work and sometimes does not work - i am noticing this for about the last 4 months. below i put a date of 10/1/2015 reflecting the engine problem. thanks
The passenger side airbag is turned off when someone is sitting in the seat. the seat belt warning light also is lit when the seat is empty of people or cargo.
The seat belt buckle when pressed was not releasing the seat belt for the second row left seat passenger (behind the driver's seat). we spent one hour plus to release the passenger as we seek professional help but the resolution was to cut the seat belt to free the passenger.
