The hood jumps up and down as you drive on the highway going anything over 60 mph. if it is a particularly windy day, it is even worse. i am terrified that one day it is going to fly up, block my view or break the windshield causing a fatal accident. it makes me dizzy just watching it, but you can't stop watching because you are completely terrified that it will fly up! i have been to the dealership about this. i received the standard, we didn't notice anything on our test drive (mind you they had my vehicle 3 days). the dealership did admit that they have received numerous complaints about the same issue. they told me that it is an "easy" fix, that i just needed to un-screw the 2 rubber pieces on each side of the hood so that they are longer. of course . . . they didn't do this at the dealership for me. i had to call back and the technician guided me through it at home. not much of a fix if you ask me. they 2 rubber pieces only unscrewed one more turn before completely falling out! they are only a little over an inch long to begin with. if this is all that is holding down the hood besides the one metal clamp -- i'm guessing someone's hood is going to fly up one of these days and there will be a class action lawsuit against nissan. safety is not nissan's number one priority that is for certain. *js
