Takata recall. clock will not go off at anytime, so battery goes down overnight all the time. brake and abs lights stays on while driving. ignition key doesn't match door nor hatch locks. the exhaust system has vibration at times when in motion. when test driving this vehicle i just assumed the vehicle had been sitting with an older battery was why it needed to be jumped. then after i got it home and it sat overnight and i had the same problem; i thought i'd left something turned on. then i discovered that the clock will not go off. i purchased this vehicle on 5/17/2019 as is.

Tl* the contact owned a 2004 jeep grand cherokee. while driving 30 mph, the contact crashed the vehicle into a pole. hillstop motors ignored 2 important safety recalls since 8/25/15. consumer purchased defective vehicle on 03/29/18. the air bags did not deploy and the seat belt failed to restrain. there were no warning indicators illuminated. a police report was filed and there were no injuries. the manufacturer and an unknown dealer were notified. the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. the vehicle was totaled and towed to a junk yard. the failure mileage was 43,000. *bf consumer stated she suffered physical and psychological injuries.*jb

Tl* takata recall. the contact owns a 2004 jeep grand cherokee. while driving approximately 45 mph, the front driver and passenger air bags deployed without warning. the contact sustained minor burns that required medical attention. the vehicle was driven to the contact's residence. the contact called ilderton dodge chrysler jeep ram at (336) 804-8536 (located at 701 s main st, high point, nc 27260) and was informed that someone would come out to inspect the vehicle. the contact stated that no one came to inspect the vehicle. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 15v046000 (air bags). the failure mileage was 177,000. parts distribution disconnect. at the time this complaint was filed ilderton had not come out to inspect the vehicle. as of october 25th thery did come and inspect it. it was then returned to contact. contact has yet to hear response from iderton about the findings. updated 12/06/18*jb

Had a car accident few days ago and the air bags did not deployed at either side. also, the steering column is stack in lower level, the mechanic said it is broken inside, needed to be replaced.

tl* the contact owned a 2004 jeep grand cherokee. the contact stated that while driving at 45 mph, another vehicle swerved into her lane and crashed into her vehicle. the vehicle rolled over several times before coming to a complete stop. the air bag warning light was illuminated prior to the crash. the vin was included in nhtsa campaign number: 15v673000 (air bags) which was scheduled to be performed the week of the crash. the air bags did not deploy. a police report was filed. the driver sustained a concussion. no medical attention was required. the vehicle was towed by the insurance company. the vehicle was destroyed. the local dealer was not contacted. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the failure mileage was approximately 238,000. the vin was missing a character.

Takata recall it has been almost 1 year since recall but fiat chrysler has not made the parts available to dealer. i keep receiving notices but the repair cannot be made until parts are sent to dealers.

I have called 4 times scheer motors in grayling michigan now none as matt lafontaine they keep saying they will return my call 2 weeks later nothing!!! can you please help me with this ?

My husband was in an accident on april 20 2017 and he was hit dead on but the airbags did not deploy. however i did receive a recall form and when i called my local jeep dealer he stated that the issue was already resolved but obviously it wasn't. he was hit so hard the entire steering wheel separated from the dashboard. he was hit on highway 231 traveling toward troy alabama. ...updated 06/13/17 *bf *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2004 jeep grand cherokee. the contact stated that the seat belt and the air bag warning lights illuminated. the vehicle was serviced under nhtsa campaign number: 15v673000 (air bags) but the remedy failed to repair the vehicle. the contact mentioned that the seat belt and air bag warning lights remained illuminated after the recall repair. the contact stated that while driving at low speeds through a parking lot, she swerved from hitting a dog and crashed into the concert bottom portion of a light post. the air bags failed to deploy. the contact sustained injuries to both shoulders, neck and back as well as the front passenger sustained injuries to her neck and both shoulders which both needed medical attention. no police report was filed. the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the failure mileage was approximately 125,000. updated 06/28/17*lj *cn

I received a recall notice in the mail for my vehicle. it stated the parts are not available as of yet. i waited a full year, called the scranton dodge dealer near me, and still no parts available. i then made an appointment in the summer of 2016, only for them to tell me they will call me back when the parts come in. in january, i called scranton dodge again, once again telling me no parts are available. out of frustration i called a chrysler dealership that is 40 minutes away. they said they had the parts. i dropped my vehicle off, and waited four days with no courtesy call. after being told to call back two times, i finally got a hold of the service manager. he told me he doesn't have all the parts and would have to order more. why did they tell me they had the parts when they really didn't? why didn't i receive a call the first day it was there letting me know? why cant i get this dangerous recall repaired? after all the wasted time and fuel, which included my wives car as well, nothing was done. that dealership was tony ...

Takata recall. took my vehicle in for the r60 recall and the dealership said they would not complete the recall unless i paid their diagnosis fee because they think there might be something else wrong. called chrysler's customer service to ask them about why they dealership was refusing to complete the recall and they told me i would have to sign off on the diagnosis fee in order for them to put the time into completing the recall

2004 jeep grand cherokee. consumer writes in regards to airbag indicator light continues to illuminate after occupant restraint control module recall repairs. *smd the dealer informed the consumer, the repair they performed did not address the air bag light indicator and she would need to return with the vehicle, to get a quote. *jb
