Vehicle battery will die after two days of non starting. this happens constantly.

I have a 2017 honda crv. this is the second time i had the same issue. all my warning light electric parking brake problem, charging system problem, road departure mitigation system problem, electric parking brake problem, brake hold system problem, power steering system (eps) problem, vehicle stability assist (vsa) problem, hill start assist problem. are back on. when this happens for the first time dealership tole me their was an update to the system which will fix the issue. month later i am having the same issue.

Continuation of complaints 11307119, and 11307127. i called the dealership where i purchased the car new and explained what had been going on with the car. i was told to bring the car in. i took the car in and waited. i was later informed the honda recommended that the plugs be replaced and oil change and a software update. i was later told that i would need to have the injectors replaced and i would have to pay for the repair. i was told they would need to order parts and provided me with a car and i left, it was a friday. monday i went to pickup the car. i was charged $1800 plus for the repair. i left and everything seemed ok but before i got home the alarm engine emission problem came up. next day i called back and was told to bring in and they would look at it again. the message is still there.

This is a continuation of complaint 11307119 in which i had to tow car to dealership for service. i received a call after christmas that my car was ready for pickup and there was nothing wrong with it but it was out of gas. i went to pick up the car and was charged $100 plus for the three gallons of gasoline. i got in the car, started it, it was running rough then as i started to leave all the warnings came up again, i pulled back around to the service bay and got the attention of the service rep and showed him the warnings on the dash. he got a technician and hooked up a diagnostic tool but said he saw no codes, so he got a computer and hooked it up and said all he saw was an evap code, but all the warnings were on display. i was told to leave car so they could check further. i left in the loaner. a couple days later i was called and told they would need to tear the engine down to try to find the problem and i would need to approve the work and agree ...

My 2017 honda began displaying multiple warning messages which would cause the function for the message to be disabled. example, cruise control, not working, hill assist not working and all messages would display and nothing working. usuall the next day the messages would clear and function return. it got more frequent and ultimately did not clear, stayed on constantly. then one day while traveling on a busy interstate highway the vehicle lost power and would not accelerate, before i was able to get to the shoulder of the road i narrowly avoided being struck in the rear by a semi truck and trailer barreling down on me. i did make it off and turned the ignition off waited a short while and restarted the motor. there was a new message in the display "vehicle emission problem" . i pulled onto the road and was able to make it home. this was the weekend and the following monday i called the local honda dealership and scheduled a service appointment. i took the car in and explained what had happened. i waited in the lobby and shortly the service rep told me parts needed to be ordered and i would notified when ...

Tl* the contact owns a 2017 honda cr-v. while driving approximately 45 mph, all the warning indicators on the instrument cluster started to flash. the brakes were applied without the brake pedal being depressed. the contact stated that the failure occurred sporadically for the past year. the vehicle was taken to frank leta honda (500 auto mall dr, o'fallon, mo 63368) five times and they repaired the vehicle, according to their records. the manufacturer was notified of the failure and contact was asked to submit all the records and bills. the vehicle was not repaired. the approximate failure mileage was 20,000.

I have had multiple instances where several system alerts pop up on my dashboard for no apparent reason (lane keeping assist problem, road departure mitigation system problem, adaptive cruise control problem, collision mitigation system problem, and brake system light). this has happened intermittently since i first owned my brand new car (the first time it happened was one month after owning it). i have taken it to my dealer several times and they have tried various things, but honda has yet to come up with a proper solution. this has happened both when turning my car on, as well as when i'm driving.

On three recent occasions while driving, the dashboard warning lights indicated multiple system failures including a brake system problem. the car was going about 25-35 mph each time going straight. on all instances, the car seemed fine despite the warnings. in the first two instances the warning lights went out after about one minute and in the third instance it stayed on even when the engine was shut off although it did go out after the car was shut off overnight and restarted. it is very concerning when any warning goes off but especially so when it indicates a brake problem. the dealership was of no help stating they could not do anything unless it was happening when they looked at it. they claimed to have never seen this problem but there are multiple reports online and i know several people who have had the same experience.

Shift knob button broke during operation resulting in loss of use of vehicle. battery has been replaced 2 times on vehicle.

The emissions light came on, started to have an odor of gasoline in the cabin, fuel milage has decreased, rough idle, hesitation in acceleration. happen in motion, stationary, and when vehicle was off. this vehicle is used mostly on the highway, in the mid-atlantic region.

Display monitor goes completely dark. have to turn vehicle off and restart for it to come back.

Tl* the contact owns a 2017 honda cr-v. the contact stated that the anti-lock braking system, lane departure assist, collision mitigation system, road departure mitigation, adaptive cruse control, some driver assist not operating, radar obstructed and auto high beam warning indicators flashed while the vehicle was being driven. the contact also stated that the failures were intermittent and has recurred for approximately 3 years. the vehicle was taken to honda of annapolis, 1736 west st, annapolis, md 21401 to be diagnosed. the mechanic was not able to replicate the failure. the vehicle had been taken to the dealer twice. after the vehicle was turned off the fault codes were erased. the manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was informed about a technical service bulletin number: 17064 (radar software). the vehicle was not repaired. the approximate failure mileage was 200.

Three potentially serious electrical issues are summarized: twice in the last month while highway driving the instrument panel quickly flashed the following warning messages: 1) adaptive cruise control (acc) problem; 2) road departure mitigation system problem; 3) collision mitigation system problem; 4) brake system problem. drivability was not affected at the time, though the messages caused immediate concerns about what caused these to appear for no apparent reason while driving. weather and roads were clear. i had to pull over and restart the vehicle, which cleared the error displays and instrument panel returned to normal operation. while driving (city and highway) the vehicle brightness control on the info screen will randomly start to beep and flash repeatedly. the screen cycles between dark and various info displays while the audio system keeps playing. the touchscreen controls on the screen are non-responsive when this happens. stopping and restarting the vehicle restores the display to normal. this occurs while the car is in motion with no particular reasons for the abnormal behavior. this situation with the display has reoccurred more than a dozen times since i purchased the car ...

Car windows roll down by themselves without any contact with key fob. this happened when car was not turned on.

Tl* the contact owns a 2017 honda cr-v. the contact stated that the rear hatch would not open and the engine was difficult to start. later, while driving approximately 70 mph, the forward collision avoidance system erroneously activated and caused the vehicle to abruptly stop. the vehicle was taken to flow honda of burlington (2920 s. church st, burlington, nc) where it was diagnosed that the battery was faulty and the automatic braking system required an update. the battery was replaced and the update was performed. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the failure mileage was 60,135. the consumer stated the brake warning indicator occasionally illuminates.*js
