We have classified the 159 complaints from 2017 Honda CR-V about ELECTRICAL SYSTEM into the following categories.
While driving my 2017 honda cr-v ex-l on highway (the trip was about 10 hours), about half way of my trip, i could not reach the speed to 55mph with speed limit of 70mph. my odometer was reading around 30000mi. about two months later (just two weeks ago) i took another 2 hour one way trip, similar thing happened to me again on my way back (i could only drive at about 60mph with speed limit of 70mph). i raised the issue with local honda dealer and they told me to schedule an appointment. i will see what they are going to tell me about the diagnostic checkup. in addition to above possible engine/power/fuel related issues, i had two incidents of dead battery without doing anything after stopping my car. one time (summer 2018) i drove to my son's private teacher's house and parked outside. after the lesson i couldn't start my car. it took 4 hours for honda roadside assistance to come and found out the battery was dead. after the gentleman jump started my car it was driving fine. in september 2018 i did my oil change, the dealer's exam showed battery life good. then just about 4 weeks ago in october 2018, my car parked in my garage and it couldn't start again. the roadside assistance found out the battery was dead and no battery life. honda dealer replaced the battery for me.
Complete vehicle system problem messages. vehicle stability, adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation, road departure mitigation, electrical parking brake, emissions system, brake system, brake hold, power steering, hill start assist, tire pressure monitor problem, power steering system problem. every one of these systems is displaying a 'problem' message as well as brake light is flashing on the dashboard engine light is on brake system light is on steering wheel light is on vehicle stability light is on battery light is on and oil lamp is on. this is about the fifth time this has happened. i have also experienced this while driving. the vehicle will suddenly display all these error messages for no apparent reason. sometimes the error messages will pop up as soon as you turn the car on other times it happens suddenly while driving. it happens on city streets and on the highway straight away or turning
During morning commute 0655 hours during heavy downpour all instrument dash lights stopped illumination, i turned off defroster, radio and wipers. i pulled off expressway carefully and after several minutes the instrument panel was re illuminated. at work i notified honda dealer of incident. a service appt. was made. safety hazard
I was driving at about 45mph, and had to stopped in median of road to turn right. all of a sudden my honda crv 2017 stopped and all dashboard lights started flashing, it started showing all the following problems. 1) brake system problem 2) brake hold system problem 3) airbag system (srs) problem 4) power steering system (eps) problem 5) anti-lock brake system problem 6) vehicle stability assist (vsa) problem 7) hill start assist problem 8) adaptive cruise control problem 9) collision mitigation system problem 10) road departure mitigation system problem 11) auto high-beam problem 12) tire pressure monitor problem 13) all wheel drive system problem 14) lane keeping assist cannot operate 15) seat belt warning on and beeping even though seat belt was being worn. i tried to turn off, and turn on, nothing happened. exited the vehicle, checked the car. no physical damage. tried to start 2-3 times more, still no luck. i called the roadside assistance, and towed the car to dealer. dealer kept the car for 4 hours, and called me that it was low gas issue, and charged me $88. i am sure it was not low gas, and even if it was low gas, car warning should tell its not starting due to low gas. it should not be that all 15 errors start showing on dashboard.
Battery was dead after parking on street, had to call for emergency road service to jump car. there was no excessive usage of battery or electronics in the car
The display in the middle goes blank while i am driving a lot. last time i was backing out when it did which cause my car to have serious scratches on it. at the same time the back up seemed not to be working either. my son made a video of it happening one time when he is in the car. also the radio is lock and does not display what is playing like it use too. also sometimes when i am switching lane with my blinker on the car will not let me do it and abruptly slow down even if there is not other car on the road. i had a 2012 honda crv that my son drive and never had these problem. my 2017 crv touring is by far not as well made since i have all these problems already.
Five times the battery drained completely with nothing on, after sitting unused, garaged, over night or after one day unused. after the second incident the dealer replaced the battery. after the fourth incident, the dealer charged the battery. after the fifth incident, one week later, the dealer charged the battery and claimed only a .002 miliamp draw.
Takata recall 2017 honda crv was rear ended by another vehicle on 4/11/18. the seat belts did not retract. the passenger in the car struck her head on the dashboard of the vehicle. this crv has been in the repair shop since 4/17/18. informed by the service provider that none of the seat belts retract properly.
Purchased car 1/18. took 10 day vacation car was parked during that period. car battery was dead when we returned. had aaa jump car and took to dealer. battery checked and told by dealer it was fine 6 days later battery dead had honda service tow car to dealer. had found honda tsb 17-032 online describing a battery drain from vsa modulator. made copy for dealer because they were 'unaware of problem' asked them to follow the tsb software upgrade procedure which they did but when they tested battery there was still a drain so they replaced the battery and informed me i need to drive car everday to keep it charged, this is our second car and is not driven everyday and we travel which means the car may not be driven for 10 days or more the service advisor indicated that we need to acquire a battery charger because most likely the battery would be dead. it seems that the 2017 crv has an electric brake system problem. it pulls on the battery even when the ignition is off. is honda going to issue a recall on this problem. everytime i get in the car i wonder if the car will start and this an uncomfortable feeling for a brand new car with only 540 miles on it.
My vehicle was parked at a airport parking lot for 13 days during a travel trip. the battery was completely dead and was started with a jump. no lights, act were left on during this period.
Was driving normally when abs, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, automatic emergency breaking, and breaking system "problem" lights lit up all at once. limped the car home.
My car is a 2017 honda crv touring with the 1.5 liter turbocharged engine and 3200 miles. on 3/18/2018 i was driving at 70mph on interstate 180 in pennsylvania when the car suddenly slowed, lost power, the check engine light came on, and multiple electrical systems reported malfunctions in the dash display. the car was towed to the honda dealer and diagnosed with excess gas (approximately one quart) in the oil. the oil and filter was changed as a temporary solution, and a tech line case (ref # 4089104) was opened with honda. i was told at this time there is no permanent recall or fix. i was advised that this is a known problem in cold climates where the car is used for short drives and does not warm up completely. since then i have learned that all crvs with the 1.5 liter turbocharged engine have been recalled in china for the same problem.
Driving highway speed. suddenly vehicle begins to violently hesitate and then slows and will not accelerate (more than 10 mph). indicators read that all systems have failed. pulled over and shut vehicle down. would not restart. called emergency roadside assistance for towing to dealership. was told by dealer that honda stated it is a common issue in cold weather (i live and purchased the vehicle in northern wi - lame excuse. whey sell them here if they don't work in the cold). the dealership replaced the fuel injectors and various other engine parts. i also had to have the satellite radio receiver replaced (it burnt out). there was fuel in the engine oil. all this with less than 4,000 miles on the 2017 honda cr-v. no longer have confidence in the vehicle. it runs now, but the engine is much louder with a noticable clicking noise that wasn't there when i first purchased the vehicle. i was planning a maiden voyage from wi to seattle, wa (to visit elderly mother who lives there) but lost confidence in the vehicle's reliability. what is my fix for this? dealership balked at the suggestion of replacing the vehicle with another one. overall, i think this is a dangerous issue to have an automobile completely fail in traffic. limping off the roadway at a maximum possible speed of 10 mph in highway traffic conditions is a recipe for disaster and the makings for possible fatal consequences. honda should be looking seriously into this issue and not making lame excuses like this happens to the cr-v in cold weather ([xxx]). they should also be providing compensation to owners who purchased these lemons in good faith expecting the dependability of a brand new vehicle, paying (in my case) at least $29,000.00 for that expectation and not ending up with something that dumps fuel into the engine oil and threatens the safety of me and my (3) passengers at the time parts of this document have been redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 5
March 14,2018 driving at approximately 15-20 mph in a residential neighborhood, approaching a railroad track, vehicle suddenly came to an abrupt stop. brake collision mitigation flashed on dash. screen instructions to place vehicle in park. i turned on emergency flashers for safety. once in park and returned to drive, able to continue. my right ankle sprained due to force of stop while pressing on accelerator. my teen in the back seat suffered whiplash. thankfully no car immediately behind us. since this time, i turn off the collision brake mitigation each time i start the vehicle. fearful of the same action occurring again! dealership has run diagnostics but has no solution! no accident report filed.
Tl* the contact owns a 2017 honda cr-v. the contact stated that the instrument panel gauges did not work. there were no warning indicators illuminated before or after the failure. the vehicle was taken to norm reeves honda superstore irvine in irvine, ca where the vehicle was diagnosed, but the failure could not be duplicated. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the vin was unknown. the approximate failure mileage was 1,980.
Just as we were approaching the 4000ft descent to the valley floor, the instrument panel lit up with multiple warnings, the first being major brake failure. i stepped on the brake which was first soft, then immediately became hard to press down to stop the car. a small turnoff allowed me to get the car off the highway and stopped. multiple warnings continued across the screen. shut off the car to restart the computer, then restarted the car. same messages. checked exterior of car, tires, oil. all well. towed to honda dealership where it was tested for ebb and esb failure, ecu failure. electronic booster was replaced and the brake system bled. honda had the car for 7 days. yesterday we picked up the cr-v, having been told that it was repaired and ready to go. we drove away, but less than a mile from the dealer/service location, the exact same problem occurred - instrument panel lit up multiple warnings with brake the most emphatic. i was not braking when the warning came, but immediately braked to get off the road. again the grinding sounds and difficulty pressing hard enough to stop the car. car is back at the dealer for service. the problem is not fixed and we do not trust any repair at this point. we could have been seriously injured on the mountain highway and are not willing to risk our lives again.
Tl* the contact owns a 2017 honda cr-v. the contact stated that the instrument panel failed to operate as intended on several occasions while the vehicle was being driven. the contact stated that various warning indicators illuminated on and off. the contact also stated that the touch screen for the vehicle controls and the cruise control were inoperable. the vehicle was taken to umansky honda (located at 960 hilton heights rd, charlottesville, va 22901, (888) 686-9143) to be diagnosed, but the mechanic was unable to duplicate the failures. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failures. the approximate failure mileage was 6,000.
All lights in dash are flashing cruze control does not work car has braked hard by itself for no reason i have had this car for 5 months and it has done this off on on computor has been reset twice alllights have been flashing for 4000 miles now why has there not been a recall
I was driving on a two way street no car in front of me for at least over half a mile and the car abruptly stopped (32 mph to 7 mph) within seconds. there was nothing on the road, clear weather conditions. i went forward and my pursue fell on the floor. luckily, there was no car behind me otherwise i would have been rear-ended.
Car purchased july 1, 2017. jan 6, 2018 battery died after sitting for roughly 2 days. honda checked battery and found no problems with battery or electrical system. friday, feb 16, 2018 same problem: dead battery. car was sitting for 3 days prior to discovery. there are no supplemental electrical accessories.
Sometimes, autobreak kicks off when driving approaching a bridge on a sunny day or in a construction area where the lanes have been modified or narrower with construction cones. this is super scary and may result in unexpected collisions with car behind, who is not anticipating any abrupt break/stoppage
Numerous times while driving, the vehicle infotainment display randomly changes brightness and begins flickering and cycling through screens while beeping. this occurs during both day and nighttime driving, and on both short and long trips. the only way to stop it is to turn off the vehicle or do a "hard reset" with the battery. this is very distracting to the driver. honda is aware of this significant defect and has no fix for it. in addition, while driving during snow/rain, the vehicle radar systems stop functioning and a message appears that they are "obstructed", which is exactly the opposite of the intent of this safety feature. given that the infotainment system controls a lot of the safety features, honda needs to come up with a solution or the vehicles should be recalled.
During a regular driving, dashboard light up with several systems malfunction and warnings lights. car is 2year old with 30000 miles but issue is been around since it was 4000 miles several visits to the dealer got replaced battery on 1st and alternator on last visit. and now it is happening again
Driving highway suddenly car slows and dash reads that all systems- brakes, steering, and, etc failed. pulled car off road safety. shut car off.restarted. problem went away. checked on honda owners website. this is an ongoing problem with no fix. scary when all systems could be compromised
January 12, 2018 instrument panel went completely dark. (rain related?) drove car through rain, parked and turned car off for a few minutes. when got back in and started car, instrument panel, ignition switch and shift lever lights all off. econ mode indicator remained on. fifteen minutes later tpms indicator came on. instrument panel unresponsive to brightness control knob or headlight selection. when parked again, all doors did not unlock with driver door opening. january 13, 2018 issues appear to be resolved when car started. all instrument panel lights back on. tpms reset and did not turn on again. reported issue on honda service site.
The vehicle does not heat up when idling which mean remote start to clear the ice from the windshield and warm the cabin does not work. honda told me it has to be driven to produce heat. they've replaced the thermostat and flushed the cooling system. i have to drive to work down a decline for 8 miles. after 4 miles the engine gauge begins to rise and then by the time i reach 8 miles (bottom of the hill) the engine temperature gauge bottoms out back down to the cold. the heat that may have started how ever feeble is now once again cold. any ice on the windows is still there because the whole car inside is still cold. if it wasn't for the heated seats i'd freeze to death. the service manager came to take my car one morning and saw this happen. he was told by honda the engine doesn't produce heat with out a load on it. this vehicle should never have been sold north of ohio. it is unsafe. i also have a strong gasoline smell in my oil that will soon be taken in for. also, the safety features all become inactive because of a little rain or snow. the honda dealer recalibrated them but it still happens. the lack of heat on idle is unacceptable though.
All lights flashing in the dash cruse control does not work going down the freeway the car has braked very quick without touching the brake the computor has been reset servel times and the problem comes right back this started in jan 2018 and is still doing this
The main dash display intermittently will not "boot up" or will stay black (blank) when starting the vehicle. the windshield wiper will intermittently turn on when set on automatic even though there is no water present. when the vehicle is in motion and the road departure mitigation system (rdm) system is active, it turns off when least expected sometimes causing the vehicle to cross the middle (left) or outside (right) lanes without warning even though there are well defined solid and/or dashed road lane lines. honda north america is aware of the main display issue and has advised dealerships not to replace the display since it will not fix the issue. the local dealership will not address the rdm issue since the main display is the central processor for all the systems in the vehicle cabin including the road mitigation departure system (rdm) and the lane keeping assist system (lkas) camera. the dealership service department has informed us that honda north america is "working on a solution to the problem but has no fix at this time". mean while, we are making payments on a vehicle that is dangerous to drive when using the all the "safety" features included in this vehicle. other issues with this vehicle include: engine oil dilution, a loose stabilizer sway bar that had to be tightened, driver seat that will not return to the number one driver position intermittingly, the gear shift knob button came off and had to be replaced and the display in front of the steering wheel intermittingly does not work.
Vehicle was parked in garage for a few days over holidays. when leaving to meet relatives at a restaurant, the car was completely dead. battery was at 3.3 volts. called the honda dealer and he suggested honda's free service; also, maybe the car should be driven daily. (?!) i asked if i could remove the battery and charge it with my battery charger. he said that would be ok. i charged overnight on trickle charge. the next day the battery was at 13 volts. i put it back in the car, waited 10 minutes for all systems to boot up and took it for a drive. seemed alright. looking online, i noticed a honda technical service bulletin (17-032) referring to parasitic battery drain and my vin fit the parameters. i now have an appointment with the dealer to check it out. surprisingly, the service manager said the dealer had not heard of this bulletin and was not aware of this problem. i had assumed honda would distribute all bulletins to all dealers, but apparently that's not the case. hopefully the software updates will fix this problem.
Engine stalled multiple times in last one year when accelerating from yeld/stop. it happed twice while yielding and merging onto highways; we were lucky there were no vehicles on highway during merging, otherwise situation would have the worst . also all warning lights on the dash board flashes with failure warnings. at that point engine almost stalled running only at speed of 10 m/h atleast which helped me to pull off the highway. i switched off and on, engine came live, but all the warning lights were still there. warnings on the dashboard were cleared only next day after whole night idle. i took the vehicle to honda dealer, explained the problem and also provided them the video that my friend sitting in the passenger seat recorded while incident happened. dealership tried to pull the error code, but none were found. dealer asked me to keep the vehicle with dealership as they need to reproduce the issue. fortunately they reproduced the exact same issue, and found the engine cylinder misfires in 1 and 4. they intimated honda engineering for assistance, and honda assisted them to recalibrate the system without finding the root cause. dealership recalibrated and directed by honda and told me that if the issue happens again that will be fixed under warranty. all these transcripts were recorded in service history of my vehicle. the same issue appeared yesterday again. when i researched about the issue on internet, most of them complained about the enginle oil and gas mixup. i checked my oil level with oil check stick provided by honda, and oil levels are way above than max mark and oil smells like gasoline; and more over the oil look very thin almost like water thickness.
The radio is always messed up. it says there's a call when there is not; it says phone not connected, which it is; it plays the radio when the screen is completely blank, it doesn't turn up or down sometimes. i have two videos but am not able to can send to you. 12/11/2017, 12/18/2017, 01/17/2018, 01/29/2018, 04/07/2018
I don't know where to file this under. the heating system is an absolute joke. i paid a lot of money for this not to be an issue in a brand new car. . not safe in conditions where it's at frigid temps. i have been sitting in my car for a half an hour and it's still not warm. uncalled for. something needs to be done.
On two separate occasions the "brake" signal displayed and the vehicle came to a sudden screeching and complete stop. there were no vehicles or any other obstruction in front of me and thank goodness no one behind me. i was in motion at a speed of about 20 mph. the sudden and without reason stop jolted me forward without warning and it was very painful. i took the vehicle to the dealer i purchased it from and was told to disable the feature because they were unable to duplicate the fault. the default for this feature is enabled upon starting vehicle. so i must disable the collision mitigation system every time i start the car.
After driving to local costco about 15 min drive, i parked at tire service center to reinflate tire. once they helped me, i tried to start car and nothing happens. costco tire technician looked at it and did not think it is battery issue so i contacted roadside assistance from honda. it is barely winter and my 2017 cr-v bought less than 2 months ago with 1850 miles does not start. tow truck driver said he has responded to many issues with battery on new hondas. car does not start. can't tell if electric parking brake is engaged or not. will take it (get it towed) to nearest honda dealer this morning to confirm and fix all the issues. so i will be late to work today and wasted my sunday dealing with this too.
I bought a 2017 honda crv touring three months ago. on 11/11/2017, it was hesitating to start. once it did, all my sensors went off so i took it up to the shop and dropped it off and got a loaner. they assumed a weak battery. on monday, 11/13/2017, i was informed by the service department that a rat had chewed through my engine wire harness and it was not covered under the warranty. i would have to pay over 1600.00 for parts and labor. i started to research this issue and can see where it is a known problem. i feel like this is something that should be covered under the warranty and not be able to make money off of people who pay good money for brand new vehicles. it is a safety issue because if you are driving and your car just shuts down, what then??
Since purchasing my honda cr-v 1.5 turbo in 2017 i have experienced two episodes of my car stalling out while driving on nyc streets. on both of these occasions i narrowly avoided getting rear ended and being forced into the car in front of me, due to the fact that the car behind me swerved to avoid colliding into me. i have also experienced many failures of my honda sense system whereby my adaptive cruise control system failed, my road departure mitigation system failed, where my audio power went off, my auto high beam system had failures, which lead me to feel very uneasy driving my vehicle. at all times, my vehicle was in motion. i have experienced these system failures while driving on city streets as well as while driving on country roads and also while driving on highways! this was not a one time occurrence. these things have happened many times!
Vehicle battery dead after sitting for 3 hours. 3 week old vehicle with 690 miles. charged the battery and drove to the dealer. the technician checked the battery, charging system and starting system. no trouble was found. i gave a copy of honda service bulletin 17-032 covering 'parasitic battery draw from the vsa modulator' to the 'service advisor' and asked him to show it to the service manager. the service manager said that my vin wasn't covered by that bulletin and because what they looked at was in working order they wouldn't do anything else to address the cause of the bead battery. i told them that the issue wasn't addressed and that i will have the vehicle towed to the dealer when it happens again!
Purchased new in march of 2017. instument cluster has malunctioned x 4 since then. twice just totally going black while driving. twice certain alarms are indicated (lkas, acc, cmbs, etc.) these last two required vehicle camera replacment. entire instument cluster replaced in october of 2017. braking: this vehicle has applied it's brakes at sudden and the most inapproriate times. july 2017 on a four lane hwy by myself, no other vehicle, brake alarms lit up on instument cluster and car rapidly declerated from 50 to 20 mph before brake alarm and brakes disengaged. when slowing for a traffic light with vehicle in front of me, at approximately 1 1/2 car lengths from vehicle and going approximately 10 - 5 mph, crv brake alarm lit up with subsequent panic stop braking applied. crv's acc system brakes the vehicle when approaching another parked or disabled vehicle in the right emergency stop lane or is turning right and is perhaps 20-30 feet down the right hand road. this occurs aw well when acc is engaged and i am in the left lane on the interstate and overtaking a vehicle to my right. the dealer tells me they can find no error codes nor do they have any data of these symptoms from honda america. braking does not occur all the time. but when it does it's surprising and scary. it seems to me with all the reports i have read on the nhtsa web site concerning this same problem, perhaps american honda should take a serious look before someone gets seriously injured or killed.
Battery drains completely for no reason when vehicle is parked. the first time it happened the dealership replaced the battery. it has happenned twice since then and dealership does not provide a fix.
I understand that honda manufactured all its cars with soy based insulation on wiring which can attract rats to chew. obviously, this is a problem. when i called my dealership they wanted about $500 to fix it. i shouldn't have to pay for this problem
Engine oil overfilled. car has stalled on occasion. vehicle safety features (honda sensing) failed completely while driving in bad weather...snow and rain.
My first problem occurred 3 months after i had my new car(@ 5609 miles)....the first incident came out of the blue - on may 11th, 2017 i used my car at 1 pm and when i tried to leave work at 4:30 the car display flashed a bunch of odd messages and the car wouldn't turn over. it had a dead battery! so an one and a half later the tow truck arrived to take the car to the dealer and i had to get a ride home and to and from work the next day. honda service called me the next day and said that they charged the car battery and that the cause was a parasitic drain and that i needed to put the electric brake on before i turned off the car. they told me that honda was aware of this issues and that they were working on a software fix.... well tonight (friday - aug. 18th, 2017) as i was about to go out, the car again has a dead battery. now i'm stuck home until tomorrow when i will have to spend saturday trying to get the car driveable by honda. so i have a new car (with 9300 miles) i can't drive!!! what happens if i have an emergency? honda - if you have a fix (which i see on service bulletin a17-032), when can i get my car fixed so i can have a car i can rely on? when will you list my vin in your service bulletin a017-032 for parasitic battery draw from vsa modulator????? this is not a good business practice and not one i would expect from honda!
On more than one occasion i've come outside to discover all 4 of my 2017 crv's windows and moonroof open. i've gotten rain damage because my windows and roof ended up open during a major rainstorm. the "venting' feature of the car apparently was activated without my knowledge. i have since learned (in discovering similar complaints online) that this is a known and common problem. it represents a defect in the design of the remote key fob. my understanding is that there is no way to disable this. this occurred both times when the vehicle was stationery, sometime after exiting the vehicle.
Car battery has drained on two occasions. car won't start. system needs anti theft reset.
Bought the car april of 2017, after a few months car went dead jump start it and took it to the dealer for diagnostic. dealer replaces the battery, not much explanation why. the problem happen 2 more times, had to jump start car again took it back to the dealer but this time dealer telling me that the car needs to be driven regularly and also on a certain distance so that battery will be charged up completely. and was told to buy a portable charger, the problem is i bought this car supposedly for weekend use only, now i am required to drive it around just to charge the battery.
This incident was 4 months aftwr purchase. i parked a friend's house, and the battery drained over the course of 3 hours. i came out and start the car, and it wouldnt start. the car keep on making this continuous beeping noise every time i open and close the door. it usually only do that if the key isn't near the car, but this time the keys are on me. the trunk will not open no matter what you press. i had to get my friend to jump the car with cables. while i was driving home, it didn't show the normal screen, but it showed some anti theft message. once i got home, it told me to hold down for longer than two seconds to have the system restart. i did that but nothing happened. i left it over night and it was normal again the next day. right now, as i'm writing this complaint, there's another problem. an hour ago, i parked at a restaurant's parking lot. i came out 40 minutes later and cannot start thr car. the display in front of me is showing "brake system problem. " i'm waiting the the tow people to tow my car right now. in six months i have experienced 2 major problems which cause quite an inconvenience.
A sensor failure displays on the dashboard saying that some driver assist systems cannot operate: radar obstructed. honda of frederick tells me it's a weather related issue and manufacturing issue that they cannot do anymore to fix the problem. have happeed 4 times; recorded 3 times: driving in rain on highway, driving in snow in town, driving next day after snow but nothing on the road on highway. all straight ways. have invoices from dealer.
I am listening to am radio. in normal city streets. when i go under a high power line, there is tremendous static noise and radio voice is completely drowned out. it is very loud. i have other cars that does not do this on the same road. i am concerned about this emi interference on the rest of the electronic system. dealer is not aware of any recall issues and cannot fix. called honda.
Vehicle frequently runs out of battery and need to jump start.
I drove down the highway 65 miles per hour when suddenly the car computer got stuck and then started again giving different errors. deactivated brake system, frame missing gasoline, frame road stabilization system deactivated and finally speed control frame speed a fault.
