Honda corporation not paying car insurance. my car insurance will only pay for the rent a car for 30 days. the safety parts will be available in the summer of 2016. please help me find a solution. honda doesn't call back as promised. thank you *tr

Takata recall-i was notified that my car is part of recall. i called the honda dealer and they explained how i was to rent a car for replacement because parts will not be ready until late summer 2016. this is all good, except i use the car to tow behind my motorhome all spring and summer. i called honda national hotline and they gave me no answer to how i would find a car to tow behind my motorhome all summer. is this the spirit of the recall? i cannot drive the car safely so it is basically useless to tow it.

I have contacted honda, based on the risk to my family and need to use the car. waited for 90 mins on call, without response. called dealer indicated on their website. service specialist was not prepared to evaluate case, saying that alternating transportation until car is fixed would not be feasible. i need a car to go to work and travel with the family, who is in risk of deadly injury. please advice and/or work with honda so that the situation can be managed as specified in the recall letter i have received. thanks in advance, fabio thiers

Takata recall: i received my first letter in march 2016, my drivers side airbag is defective. letter tells me that i will be contacted when parts becomes available. they were supposed to be ready by early summer. i was never contacted. in july i received a second letter telling me that the passenger side airbag is also defective. in the first letter they told me to contact my dealer if i wanted a loaner car, which i did but i was told they did not do that and they were sure nothing would happen to my car. by august i was really getting upset that i had not heard anything, so i took my car in for an oil change and asked about the parts, they told me they would order them for me and let me know when they were in. i again asked for a loaner and was told again they did not do that. even though i have it in writing in the first letter, i called honda headquarters, they said yes they would indeed have to supply me with a loaner. i called dealership again, they said no. i will never purchase another honda. i feel that no one cares and i have exhausted my options other than going to the media which i am planning to do this next week. i have a car that i am told is unsafe to drive yet i have to drive it until they get parts to fix it. i have to drive my husband back and forth to the dialysis clinic, back and forth to his oncologist, back and forth to his endocrinologist, in other words, we are constantly on the go. i do not want to wait until our airbags explode for someone to do something!

I received my first recall letter notice in march 2016, i called the dealer immediately to set up an appointment to change the air bag, but they said they will call me back when the part arrived. i took my car to a dealer for oil change in june, 2016 and asked again about my air bag. they told me they will call me when the air bag arrived. i received the second recall letter in july, 2016. i called and they said they will call me back. i've been calling couple of times after july, and i heard the same thing. i don't understand why it takes too long, i have friends and family members that changed their air bags in a period no longer than 2 weeks. i don't feel safe driving my car, but i don't have another option since the car is my mainly way of transportation.
