The srs light of my car come on and goes off all the time. sometimes when i am driving, suddenly will turn on for a while. i usually pull over and turn off the engineer and turn it on back and wait a few. this happens constantly, and i have read the manual, this has to do with the front air bags, and according to the manual book can be 'an alert to a potential airbags, side curtain airbags, front seat belt tensioners or the driver's seat position sensor and the front passenger's weight sensors' we have check it all the time and it just goes on all the time as it comes off all the time. i have gotten to a point that concerns me a lot.
I was leaving a friends house at night on december 28 and when i turn the car on none of the lights in the center consul lit up. i couldn't see the radio to operate it nor the time. it was difficult to operate in trying to select climate control. i was unable to see any of the selections for a hot cold, the ability to increase or decrease the flow of the heat, selecting which item to use such as the defrost button. luckily this happened from a stationary position. however, since this was a new vehicle to myself it made it extremely difficult to figure out after i left his friends house. in particularly because i need it to change the defrost as i was driving, and i couldn't see what i was trying to select. additionally, since i cannot see the time, i have to use other means such as a phone or watch which i'm sure causes distracted driving.
The headlights are overly-bright. in the low-beam position the headlights are a painful even to glance at. when the car goes over a bump the headlights make an even more bright flash. with so many cars like this on the roads the driving conditions are becoming dangerous as the blinding headlights create both discomfort and disability glare as well as a substantial distraction. those blinding led headlights should be recalled as soon as possible.
Daytime led running light not working. a recall notice was sent in early 2019 but it can't be found.
This vehicle and model has had 2 recalls regarding aftermarket parts in steering wheels, holes in leaking hoses and valves and fire hazardous. the second one is regarding low beam lights and very poor visibility, increasing probabilities of a crash. i have called american honda to honor the repairs of this 2 recalls and they do not want to do it, because the car is already 14 years old. so i am driving a faulty vehicle, and to make matters worse i am already disable from 2 car accidents (as a passenger) one of the recalls, the steering wheel, was already taken care of in the past, but it still persist now as i bought it. 2 leaking steering wheel hoses. and the head lights haven't been done ever! my car has already been diagnosed by a honda dealer specialist and american honda does not want to assume the repairs of these 2 recalls. american honda does not make themselves responsible for their own faulty vehicles, passed a certain time! where are my rights??????
The led strip of light around my headlight on drivers side is partially blown. that is always a distraction to oncoming cars
Many new cars are now equipped with daytime running lights. i have experienced many drivers including myself, who have started out driving at dusk and not realized that they are driving with the daytime running lights on only. the vehicles taillights are not operable with only the daytime running lights activated. i just recently approached a vehicle on a poorly lit roadway that did not have any tail lamps activated. this seems to be a built in danger with the new vehicles.
Drivers side from daytime led lights burnt out. only have 45,000+ miles.
Started the car and was immediately received 4 messages: "lkas: lane keeping assist system problem. see your dealer.". "road departure mitigation system problem. see your dealer.", "blind spot information system problem. see your dealer.", "auto high_beam problem. manual controls available. see your dealer.". turn signals did not work. hazard lights did not work. trunk release did not work. backup camera did not work. came back after 30 minutes or so and all displayed failures were gone and the trunk opened. my daughter said the brake lights were functioning when i depressed the brake and even though the backup camera did not turn on the back up sensors appeared to be operating.
