Recently reported VISIBILITY/WIPER problems on 2008 Honda Accord

Vehicle sun visor, when being lowered, snapped and something inside appeared to break rendering the visor unable to return to the up position. same thing happened about two years ago to the drivers side visor and this is the passengers side. i replaced the first breakage myself at a cost of about $90 for replacement. i am getting tired of replacing honda's poorly designed safety equipment. vehicle is a 2008 honda accord lx-p. this is a well maintained adult driven car which was bought new. my sixth new honda and maybe my last. honda says not covered except for three years initial warranty. one breaking may be a fluke but when both break within two years, poorly designed part. when partially in the down position, they create a distracting and potentially dangerous condition. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2008 honda accord. the contact stated that the sun visors failed to stay in the up position. the vehicle will be repaired. the manufacturer was contacted about the failure. the failure mileage was 123,000. the vin was unavailable.

Sun visor will no longer stay up. creates visibility problem

The plastic sun visor split at the seam. now it will not fold up flat against the ceiling, causing it to be a visibility issue. the visor will not fold all the way out, therefore blocking more of the road than preferred. since it will not fold up either, it sticks out directly at my head. this visor breaks about every 10,000 miles, with below average use of the visor (less than 10 times a week). *tr

Sun visor falls down, obscuring vision. bought car brand new, visor started falling down within first 4 months of owning. repeatedly reported to dealership, was always blown-off as "that's not covered and nothing we can do about it". have inquired at different dealers; unable to get rectified. this is a safety issue. the dealer also blew me off when i kept reporting to them something was wrong w/brakes, from day one --as well as i repeatedly tried to get them to explain and address why my airbag light kept going off and on intermittently from day one. both of those issues turned into recalls! but still cannot get anyone to listen to me that the sunvisor constantly falling- again, from almost day one - is in fact, a safety issue, or even get them to fix this!
