Few years ago i had problems with seat belt codes popping up. took car to one of the dealers (do not remember which one..lost my receipt/paper work) and they supposedly fixed the problem. after that "fix" the reminder light and alarm for seat belts didn't light up at all (on a dash board), asked technicians about it at that time and was told that it is probably the light/alarm needs to be changing and that it is not a big deal. it had been few years since and whenever i drive the car i am uneasy about it: it somehow disturbs me whenever i turn the car on or drive it. belt (driver's side) sometimes doesn't get tight(er?)en at all when i brake. i read that it is a safety issue and usually honda maker requires to fix it and it is at no charge. this year i talked to one of the ballise honda (west springfield) dealerships' technician (information/conversation was not entered in the computer) and he told me that it is not a big a deal (the light/alarm sound is not on when belts are not engaged) and if i want to fix it i wold have to ...

The driver side seatbelt of my 2012 honda accord has jammed inside the belt housing on numerous occasions. the most recent event lasted over an hour and after several attempts to free the belt from the housing, i was forced to drive without a seatbelt on, which was terrifying and an extreme safety hazard. the belt eventually released from its housing and is working properly again, until the next incident, i suppose.
