We have classified the 245 complaints from 2011 Ford Fusion about POWER TRAIN into the following categories.
Tl* the contact owns a 2011 ford fusion. the contact stated that while driving at approximately 60 mph, the wrench warning light illuminated and the speed decreased. the contact also stated that when the accelerator pedal was depressed, the vehicle failed to respond. the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 74,000.
While traveling on a highway at approximately 65 mph, my power steering went out, and a power steering fault message came on. i had a real hard time getting over to the emergency lane as the steering wheel was almost impossible to turn. this caused me to almost get hit by incoming traffic while attempting to change lanes or even keep the vehicle straight, had this happen while making a turn and accident would have ensued for sure. once i made it to the emergency lane, i turned the car off and back on and the problem went away. as i look on the web this is a very common problem with ford fusions, why isn't there a recall? *tr
I was driving with my two children going aprox 25 mpg, i attempted to turn right into a parking lot, and power steering was completely lost. i then drove to work aprox 20 miles with no power steering. i took my car into the ford dealership, they spent 4 days trying to determine what the issue was, and ultimately decided the entire power steering needed to be replaced, at a cost of $1900.00. being a single parent, and only one vehicle, i was left no choice but to pay and get the car fixed. *tr
Vehicle stalled in traffic. restarted after several attempts and would not idle. vehicle ran very rough. vehicle was towed to a local garage and the throttle body was diagnosed as the problem. codes (p2119, p2111) came up in diagnostic tests. also throttle position sensor in throttle body assembly has internal failure. *tr
Pulled from a red light and car started shaking vigorously. pulled over safely into a parking light and a wrench lit up on the dash board. took it to a near by auto parts store, clerk scanned it and said it was a throttle body malfunction. *tr
The vehicle began shifting erratically when slowing to a stop, with higher than normal rpm range. after getting back up to speed, the transmission made a loud noise and felt as if it had fallen out from under the car. problem still exists, and now shifting from second to third gear, and third to fourth gear are delayed and some times make the car feel like it may not shift. after seeing that there have been multiple complaints about the problem, i believe this is something ford needs to look into further. *tr
Intermittent failure when pulling out into traffic. when you press the accelerator down, the wrench light comes on and the car will only go about 5 miles per hour. was almost hit on two occasions by oncoming traffic. if you turn the car off, then restart, it works --- until the next time it fails! i consider this a life threatening defect. in high density areas, it is not realistic to have huge gaps in traffic that would allow you to adequately protect your life, and the lives of others, every time you go to pull out into traffic. *tr
On june 27, 2014 i took my car to a dealership for a recall to reprogram it. on july 14, 2014, my car just stopped running while i was driving. after several attempts, it did restart after i turned off the air conditioner and radio. the next day i brought it into the dealership once again. the service person told me the same thing happened to several other customers after the initial recall and that now the throttle body needed to be replaced. when i asked why that wasn't replaced when it was reprogrammed, he said ford told them to wait until the second problem occurred before replacing it. my concern is safety. had my car stopped running on a busy highway going a higher speed limit, i might have been killed. i called ford customer service and was given a case number and told this would be "looked into." how many might die before this recall will be done properly? *tr
My power steering in my vehicle has been going out while i drive. (very scary) it has happened approximately 4-5 times. i read the manual and it said if "assist failure" comes on, turn off the engine and let it sit for 10 seconds, then turn vehicle on to reset. the first 4-5 times it did reset after doing so. this very last time, the vehicle no longer was resetting. it remains in my driveway because the "assist failure" stays on with no power steering. i called the dealership and the gentleman that i spoke with mentioned that the 2010 has a recall out for that issue but not yet the 2011. i am very upset that i did not get any assistance with this matter due to the problem not being my fault. *tr
Was stopped at a light and when started to take off car cut off and jerked forward. the "wrench" symbol appeared. tried to start car and it shook as starting. was able to get started and light (wrench symbol) went off. i only have @24000 miles on my vehicle and it is well-maintained. from what i have read, this seems to be a widespread problem with this model year fusion. i was lucky that i was not rear-ended or crossing a busy intersection when this failure occurred. this is extremely dangerous and could be fatal. ford should issue a recall immediately and not after someone gets killed due to this failure. *tr
I was driving on the 95 freeway in las vegas, nevada my 2011 ford fusion started jerking and idling down like it was going to shut off, but the car continued to run i get 4-5 minutes into my drive at 65 mph and the car shut down. i didn't realize the power to the vehicle was gone at first. cars are flying beside me, and behind me on the highway i'm terrified that i'm going to get killed or seriously injured in a accident. i coast over to the side of the highway put the car in park. i had previously taken my car to ford and they keep telling me they could not duplicate the problem so they keep sending me away. they replaced the throttle body in september 2013 and the car was fine until february this year now my car is back at ford i told them i was not taking that car because now i have a safety issue. i called the ford regional customer relationship center i have a case number, but feel i'm not getting results. i was told by the service tech at ford yesterday 6/17 that he has no idea what's wrong with my car they cannot figure it out. he said they check the tran and it all checkout fine. please help i don't want to die by the hand of ford i want to see my grandkids grow up. i have them in my car all the time i'm afraid to put them in that car now. *tr
Ford replaced the throttle body. as this being the 2nd throttle body replacement in 6 months. my car is now lunging forward dangerously i am afraid of driving it. still stall on the highway. and my avg miles per gallon have plunged from 29.9 to 20.1. i only drive ford tough. but now i think its " ford the weak" and paying for a piece of crapple at 400 a month for 6 years i no joke. dear ford i put my life in your hands. id rather live with bad credit than be killed by a car thats failing. *tr
While driving at various speeds the car suddenly fails to accelerate. this is accompanied by the wrench light and the engine light. the engine light diagnostic code says throttle sensor. when it happens the car appears to stall out and will not accelerate but will coast. the engine is then turned off then back on and will drive normally again. it happens very sporadically. it's very dangerous to lose the ability to accelerate especially when making a turn or driving in a lane without a shoulder to pull over. from reading other posts i'm quite certain it is a defective throttle body and believe this part needs to be recalled. lives are at risk! *tr
Was waiting to turn in my apartment complex, pushed on the gas, rpm's shot up to over 1500 and car would not move, then it slammed into gear and took off with wheels squealing. sounded like something was then being dragged under car. stopped and looked but nothing, put in gear to drive to parking spot and same thing, didn't move, rpm's up to 1500 and then slammed into drive. did make it to the parking stall where it then would not move at all when put in reverse and then into drive. vehicle had to be towed to dealership. seems to be a re-occurring issue with all the other complaints that i have seen. no warning lights came on at all. definitely a transmission/transfer case problem, which i have read is common for this year. this car was bought used with 22,785 miles on it and have only had it 4 months and put 5744 miles on it. something definitely needs to be looked into, a vehicle with 28,529 miles on it, no longer covered under the manufacturers warranty and i need to have a new transmission?? something is wrong here. thank goodness i bought the extended warranty! *tr
While driving, the vehicle lost power and would not respond to the throttle in the gas pedal. the wrench light also came on the dashboard and the car jerked violently. fortunately, the vehicle was safely slowed down to the side of the road while the jerking continued and the engine revved irrationally around 1000-4000 rpms. after turning the car off, the car was restarted and the problem went away temporarily until it happened again after about 10 minutes of drive. the wrench light does not appear again but the sluggish engine and the grinding noise that comes from the engine do not appear to disappear. this issue appears to be very common with many other ford fusions with faulty throttle bodies. unfortunately, this car had its throttle body replaced previously but still has the same issue. *js
This has happened on numerous occasions but on this particular date i was driving with my two kids and as i was turning with traffic the power steering went out, it was all of a sudden and all the cars were going my same speed. i lost control of the vehicle and side swiped a car and also was rear ended because i stopped since i had no idea what was going on with my power steering. i will never again buy a ford because when i called the dealership they had nothing to say. *tr
I turned my car on, and went to reverse. the car started beeping, and a light came on. i continued to drive thinking it was because i didn't have traction in the gravel lot i was in. i didn't have any power steering and the brakes weren't working as well as normal. when i turned off the car and let it sit for a half hour, it started up and was working just fine. the warning my car gave me was to service the advanced trac. *tr
I was driving at low speed on a secondary street, going about 15 mph. suddenly, the vehicle became unresponsive to the gas pedal. the check engine light came on and the engine was alternating between surging and stalling. this was the 5th time this had happened to me since i purchased the car in september 2013. i pulled to the side of the road, took out my phone and made a video of what was happening. the video will show that the engine was non-reponsive, surging and stalling. however, when i shut off and re-stared the engine, the problem seemed to disappear. i had taken the car to ford a few weeks ago to have them service this problem, but they were unable to confirm that there was any problem. the did not charge me to check the car. they did not tell me about the throttle body problem at that time. after i made the video, i was at ford two days ago with our escape for an oil change and showed the video to the service manager. he told me that the problem is related to the throttle body and asked me to bring the car in for service. i have not been able to return to ford as of this time. *tr
This is a followup report. took my car to ford. they replaced the electronic throttle body at no charge. *tr
Battery, starter and flywheel. flywheel missing teeth possibly after failed battery. originally my car was jump started by aaa 01/2014 due to battery failure. was advised to get battery replaced. which was reluctantly replaced by ford at 36,805 01/2014. unfortunately, this may have triggered a noise that i ignored for a time, where when the car would start sometimes it would make a loud noise. it was not every start, but it did become increasingly pronounced. in may i finally went back to the dealer who said i had teeth missing from the starter and fly wheel and that it was my fault for trying to start the car while it was running (though my car has the start lockout feature). the dealer wanted over $1700 to replace flywheel and starter. opened a case with ford and they covered the majority of the repair, leaving me with about a $450 deductible. after the repair was approved, dealer re-classified the problem as the starter staying engaged which distorted the flywheel. i raise this case, because i think perhaps the failed battery could have been the cause, but further the replacement battery failed again in 6/25/2017, which i replaced again. on my 3rd battery. may be worth noting that my vehicle is equipped with integrated navigation system and display. could battery failure also be the source of repeated fan blower motor issue?
I was driving home from work and turn left at 25 mph. i suddenly lost the ability to accelerate and a wrench service light came on. i had to pull over and turn the car off . it took a while to start again. it happens everytime i take the car out and now shifts really rough. i took it to dealer and they said they know about the problem but will not replace part under warranty. the throttle body need to be replaced. it is just a matter of time before someone gets hurt. please act quickly. i think this should be a safety recall. *tr
I was driving 40 - 45 mph and suddenly i lost acceleration and the car stalled. it seemed to have fell out of gear as the car did not 'die', there was no longer any response in the gas pedal. i utilized what remaining speed i had to navigate to a safe place to pull off the road. i turned off the car and turned it on again and could drive again. this happened 2 more times on the way home (total distance from first failure to 3rd failure was less than 2 miles). each time the car is shut off and restarted the 'wrench' / check engine line does not return. i had it towed to ford dealership today, however after reading the countless experiences of the same exact ordeal, i felt it necessary to capture this incident here. I was driving on the highway, first my check engine light came on, then i drove a little farther and the wrench light came on and the car powered down to 5 mph. i had it towed and took it to the dealership today, and they are telling me that its the throttle body. i see all these complaints and it enrages me that something has not been done about this, i could have cause a major accident due to trying to get over to the side of the road. they need to hurry up and do a recall so someone else doesnt get stuck having to shell out $420 dollars like i did. *tr
In the beginning of december while driving my friends home my fusion suddenly jolted and then i lost the ability to accelerate. the service wrench displayed and i had to come to a complete stop in a neighborhood. a few weeks later while driving home the same thing happened and i had to pull over to turn my car off and then on again, which seems to be the only way it will allow me to drive. fast forward to january and i began having troubles again. this time i was on the highway and my car jolted and lost the ability to accelerate. this was a major safety issue because the highway i drive on is under construction and has no shoulder. imagine if it would have been a busy night and i had to come to a complete stop. this has happened a total of 8 times. seems like a huge safety issue. i bought this car used with 34,000 miles on it and have to drive a lot for work. *tr
My 2011 ford fusion sport awd lost power on the pittsburgh parkway after leaving a hockey game last night. i was driving, and without warning the car lost all power. the wrench light came on in the dash. this is the second time it happened in less than 2 weeks, with the same thing happening the first time. as my speed lowered, i tried crossing 2 lanes to get to the side of the road. i put the car in neutral, shut the key off, and tried restarting the car with no luck. (this worked the first time). i finally got to a berm, put the car in park, prayed, and it restarted after the second try. i made it home without any problems, but i think i lost 20 years of my life praying that i didn't get hit on the parkway. my car has 39k currently. this issue needs to be addressed immediately, if it hasn't already! *tr
Began having problems with this vehicle the second month after purchase. the first incident was steering wheel locked and i could not control the direction of the car. i ended up on the left side of the road off the shoulder before i could stop it. it happened on several occasions. car dies for no reason. i end up having it towed or restarted by charging battery. the battery always has a full charge. also i have been shopping and get in the car to start it and it will not start. door handles would not work from inside. windows would not open. had to force window down enough to open from the outside. had front door handle assemble replaced had transfer case resealed horrible smell, new tires 3 times since it was purchased had rear drive shaft replaced, fuel pump replaced had taken it to ford just recently for what i deemed was computer problems, of course they could not find anything wrong. i was told by my mechanic the last time i had new tires put on the car that i would need new rims soon. the rims are eroding from the inside out. i have several invoices for work that was done and a few more i can't locate at this time. i would like to send them all to you. purchase car 12/1/12.
I was driving on the freeway when suddenly the vehicle lost speed completely and the wrench light turned on. i was fortunate enough to be driving fast enough and in the right lane and so was able to exit the freeway but the vehicle was extremely slow, not even 1mph. it did begin to shake while slowing down. this is an extremely dangerous malfunction. had i been in the left lane it would have been impossible to remove myself off the freeway safely. this is an issue that must be addressed. *tr
I was on the freeway driving approximately 65 mph and the car just suddenly shut off. i managed to coast off the freeway and was able to start it back up but shut off again two blocks down the road. it continued to shut off all the way to my mechanics shop. my mechanic found the issue to be with the throttle body. i had the throttle body replaced. he advised me that if the issue persisted that i would have to go to ford dealer to have the powertrain control module reprogrammed. *tr
Driving on freeway the car went limp and lost speed without responding to gas pedal. the wrench light came on at the time it happened. this happened twice, first time yesterday on the freeway, second time today while on freeway going to work. once i was able to pull over and stop the engine, it car started up again and ran. *tr
The error occurred as i was driving on a major 8-lane highway. i was about a quarter-mile from my exit (after being on the highway for 60 miles) when i felt a "clunk" and an orange-lit wrench appeared on my dash. as i turned onto the exit ramp, i slowed to a stop at a stop-light, waiting to turn left. while the brake was depressed, the car was attempting to move forward very abruptly, as part of it's "limp home" feature. when the light turned green, i released the brake and attempted to accelerate through the intersection, but pressing the gas pedal produced no response from the car. after limping through the intersection, i shifted the car into park and turned the engine off. after waiting 10-15 seconds, i restarted the car and the throttle issue and dash light were both gone. i have since driven ~100 miles without seeing the issue re-appear. *tr
My wife was driving 65 mph on a very busy los angeles area freeway around 4:45 in the afternoon when her vehicle came to a grinding halt. the car went from 65 mph to a complete stop in about 30 yards! she said all she heard was a loud grinding sound and the screeching of the tires. luckily, the six vehicles behind her were able to stop, avoiding a chain reaction accident. the car has been at the dealership since november 4, 2013 when the incident happened. when i spoke to the technician, he mentioned that the transmission "disintegrated" internally and the only two options we had were to rebuild the transmission part by part, or order a whole new transmission. the vehicle is not even three years old! this was not the first time this happened. on october 2, 2013, she was about to enter the same busy freeway and the vehicle came to a stand-still at the intersection. none of the gears worked. after turning the vehicle on-and-off a few times and shifting the gear stick back-and-forth, the vehicle once again was able to move. can you please look into this issue as i am greatly concerned for the safety of my family now that this incident put my wife's life in danger? god forbid this happen again in front of a fully loaded semi or other high profile vehicle that would not be able to stop in time. do you recall the ford explorer rollover mishaps? *tr
Incident #1. when accelerating from a stop, the engine started jerking and the car rolled forward slowly and the powertrain service light illuminated. shifted to neutral, rolled to shoulder, and re-started vehicle. operated normally after re-start. incident #2.(two days later) while accelerating from stop, when vehicle reached approximately 45 mph the engine started running poorly and the powertrain service light illuminated. rolled to shoulder, and re-started vehicle. operated normally after re-start. *tr
Lucky me, i happened to have two of these failed designed vehicles. my wife has a 2010 that developed throttle body problems at 35000 miles and now mine at 87500 miles. the 2010 left her stranded with zero engine power, in the middle of busy roads a total of two times before the dealership (palm coast ford) on the third visit decided that just cleaning and spraying down the failing hardware didn't cut it and finally put a new one on, luckily still under warranty. the mechanic did however say that this is a common occurrence for these ford products and that the same thing would probably happen to the throttle body he just put on. why ford did not fix the problem sooner at that point in time? my guess, not enough people had a direct link to their death from car accidents at that point in time! 20,000 miles later so far no other problems. now my 2011 fusion is a manual 6 speed. when my throttle body failed this morning while going to work i noticed that while in cruise control the speed was pulsing down and up around two mph. this would happen for a short time and then stop and be functioning properly for a while and then do it again. finally at a light i noticed the idle up and down and after accelerating to 60 it suddenly went to idle of 900 rpm. no power from the engine. you could floor it and nothing. well once again like many others that have had the same ford failure experience i almost was hit by another vehicle because of no where to pull over. i will purchase the part and replace it myself. i thought i would give ford a try again from years ago when i had a lynx that caught on fire, and a taurus sho ...
Went to make a left hand turn in an intersection and car would not go. no matter how hard i pushed the gas pedal, it would not give the car gas to move. the rpm showed the car was idling, and the service wrench light came on. engine was shaking and appeared to be sputtering. very scary. i was almost hit by another car because of being stalled in the intersection. *tr
Car lost power turning like the transmission was not engaged. the wrench light came on. the problem was the throttle body went bad lost communication with power train.. it appears a lot of these are being reported for the fusion v6 sel model. i had the repair done at huntington ford in rochester mi. and paid $550 for the repair. i have the defective parts if needed for anything. *tr
I pulled out of my driveway and made it about 40 yards when the car lurched twice and shut off. i let it sit for a few minutes and started it back up. was able to go about a quarter of a mile and it died again. i called a tow truck because i was too afraid to try to drive it anywhere. luckily i was in my neighborhood and was not on a busy road or a highway like so many others have complained about. i was also very fortunate that i did not have my children with me - one who is currently recovering from surgery and cannot walk. after doing research and finding the very common issues with the fusion, i asked them to check the throttle when running the diagnostics. sure enough, that was the reason. $450+ after the repairs and the tow. my car only has 41,000 miles on it, but is unfortunately outside of the warranty period. ford should step up and pay for these repairs due to the dangerous and fatal issues that this problem can cause. i'm very nervous about this issue and am shocked that there is not a recall after so many reported incidents. i'm considering selling this car - i planned to keep it for many years, but my safety and my families is much more important. i would urge that there be a recall on this extremely serious and dangerous problem being experienced so frequently. *tr
At 6:55am on interstate i-70 east in kc mo i was driving in the fast lane at the correct speed of 65 mph on my way to work and my wrench light came on and the next thing i knew my car started down shifting and shaking until it came to a complete stop. i put on my hazards but was scared for my life cause of the very heavy traffic and i had a semi truck behind me. i couldn't get over because of the heavy traffic and how fast my car went from 65 to zero in minutes. once i came to a full stop, i shut my car off and turned it back on which at that time it acted funny but then i was able to make it to work.i am a mother of 3 children and at that moment my life flashed before my eyes. this is a very serious matter. i called my dealership blue springs ford and told them about it and they said they have been getting alot of complaints on that issue. he said it's more than likely the throttle system and that there are no recalls yet. my question is does someone have to die before they make this an issue????? i almost got hit by 3 cars and a semi. please help.. this is my second complaint about this issue. first one was feb. 25th, 2012. thank you, *tr
Wrench light came on and car lost all power over 60 mph. restarted vehicle underway and still had no power. had to pull off the side of the road on a very dangerous highway on an extremely foggy morning. restarted and car idled extremely rough and again had no acceleration. a few minutes later the vehicle restarted and continued on as normal. exact same incident happened later that day on the way home. vehicle did not want to start. after a few minutes of sitting, was able to continue on as normal. have not drove the car since the incident. *tr
I was at a traffic signal and vehicle would not accelerate when the light turned green. it did not go dead but would move only at a very very slow speed, and the engine shuddered and ran roughly. the wrench indicator light came on. i got the car across three lanes of traffic to the shoulder, turned it off and restarted with no further trouble. drove home without incident. took the car into the dealership and problem was diagnosed as a faulty throttle body. *tr
Was traveling 45 mph wrench light came on and stalled. *tr
When driving the car,it wants to come to a stop, and it goes into neutral. it jerks you bad. it doesn't matter the speed. i could be going 25mph or 55mph or 70mph. its a hazard to be driving. took it back about 2weeks at ford dealer they said couldn't find anything wrong. had warranty at that time.i call told them i didn't want the car anymore but they wouldn't help me. i have had the car for almost a year and have trouble with it all the time. *tr
Was driving at aprox. 45 mph when suddenly unable to accelerate car. car did not shut off. yellow wrench light came on dash. drifted until able to stop vehicle. shut off car and unable to start. tried 2nd time and car restarted. a simple google search ended up with a tremendous amount of vehicles experiencing the same problem. vehicle has not been recalled. called ford garage and expecting tow truck to arrive shortly. unsafe to drive. this is a known and on going problem. ford does have a special service message out for the known problem. it is as bad as the toyota run away cars. recall should be issued before someone is killed. *tr
Turning left at stop light and vehicle lost power and maintenance light came on. coasted at 10 mph through light into a parking lot. car was still running but throttle did nothing. turned ignition off and on while the car was half in the parking lot and half in the road. restarted with same results. after the third restart maintenance light went off and car had power again. drove home and checked for codes. p2112 throttle actuator control system - stuck closed was only code. *tr
My car lost complete power wile traversing an intersection. i was almost hit by a large truck as i had no power in my car. tool it to the dealer and it is a defective throttle body that ford is aware of. mechanic said he sees this happen all the time. its very scary to be driving and suddenly lose all power and very dangerous. *tr
While driving my 2011 ford fusion through an intersection it cut off speed and throttle control abruptly. no accident but this issue left the possibility for one to happen. i was able to pull the car over after shutting it off and starting it several times. left the car off for about 10 minutes and it started and was able to drive again. made it to an autozone and found out it was throwing a cel of p2111. for the throttle body. the car had to be towed to the local ford dealership. i was told that the throttle body had to be replaced and would cost about 500 dollars. the service tech was very well aware of this issue that persists in my model car. *tr
Another throttle body issue i assume..going on a turning lane and my car just lost throttle control..held up an intersection traffic with my 2 year old twins in my backseat..my car just went limp. it was very unsafe and i was scared. turned off the engine and restarted it and fortunately made it home. *js
Started to accelerate from intersection and transmission stalled when crossing hwy with oncoming traffic. since that point i have noticed that transmission jerks when down shifting especially at lower speeds. beginning to feel very apprehensive about safety of vehicle. *tr
While traveling along a 2 lane route, at approximately 55 mph, the power in the car just died. the throttle would not propel the vehicle, there was no accelaration available and luckily i was able to shift the vehicle away from congested traffic. the wrench lights were flashing, the car sputtered while this started or occurred but when i pressed the throttle the car did not respond at all and the car came to a stop. i attempted to press the gas several times but again the car did not respond and was dead (the car was still on just it would not move). i then turned the car off, waited a few moments, then tried to start it again, it sputtered but started about 20-30 seconds into my attempt. once i started it, i engaged the throttle while in park and it responded, i then put the car in drive and it drove normally for the remaining 10 minutes of my drive.
Driving down a major highway at approximately 75mph. suddenly lost power and engine went to idle. coasted up an exit ramp and fortunately made it to the top and was able to coast down to a safe locations to stop. if i had not made it to the crest of the ramp, the ramp was such that i was around a blind corner with no shoulder and would have very likely been hit if another car exited. the car was towed to a repair shop and i am being told it is a faulty throttle body assembly which is occuring in very many ford fusions around the country. *js
I was driving in the fast lane and my 2011 fusion went into "limp mode" by the grace of god i was able to get across the freeway and down the off ramp to a safe place. i was unaware of what "limp mode" was at the time so i had it towed to the dealer and within a few hours i was notified that it needed a new throttle body. i had just got my car back it had been in at the dealer getting the entire ac system replaced and now this. the worst part is i was informed that the throttle body is on back order and it'll hopefully be in sometime next month. although the dealership is doing their best to take care of us, making sure my rental is covered and all i'm still concerned. i had my 2 year old with me, this could have ended very bad. i think i want to trade my car in, i mean i love it and all but in the last month i've replaced the battery, the entire ac system and now this...i've only got 29k miles on it. *js
