Took vehicle to be repaired for previous airbag issues and the light has come back on while driving on a city street in rockport, texas and never went back off.
Takata recall. vehicle stationary on january 18, 2019 the passenger air bag inflator was replaced under the 18s01 recall, ford part number 8e5z 54044a74 ad. on september 10, 2019 brought car into local quirk ford dealership for service because air bag cover was no longer was flush to the dashboard. ford service said problem was due to "worn dashboard" and not covered under recall. see first attached picture. called ford customer service on sept 11, 2019 was told problem was not covered under any recalls or any warranties, case number cas-24226208-s8r0v4. my concern is that by having an open corner (see second attached picture) foreign objects could accidentally fall into this space without the drivers knowledge (ie. a penny, dime, etc) and if the air bag deployed a serious injury could occur. specifically, foreign objects could become air borne when air bag deployed. a small piece of metal like a penny or dime could cause fatal damage to the passengers in the car if air bag deployed. not sure if this should be covered under the original takata recall or if another recall should be issued. in any case i believe this is a serious safety issue which should be brought to your attention.
Takata recall. i keep getting recall notices from ford mo. co., i have taken the car in, they want me to sign a waiver thats says, there not responsible for any damage while the car is in there possion.the letter from ford says we will be given a loner car to use, the local dealer says no !. if the mechanic does damage there not responsible, if its lost are stolen, backed into while sitting on their property, broken into, there not responsible !!! *tt *tr

Takata recall - after receiving written notices of the recall, i approached my local dealership about the repair (koons falls church ford). i've called several times about making an appointment and having the part ordered to only be told "they don't have a record of if". i called today, after i was told the part should have arrived a week ago, and was told that they didn't have the part and had no way of knowing when it would come in. and that "given that the company's recently gone out of business" i should expect it to be quite a while. when i mentioned that i was concerned about the safety of my vehicle, i was told that the recall only impacted my passenger side and to not sit there.

2009 ford fusion. consumer writes in regards to airbag safety recall. *ld *tr
Takata recall: i have been entirely unable to obtain service for this recall for over one year. every call to the dealer is rebuffed with the message that i must be a crank of some kind for wanting this recall service to be done. airbags are important and they should fix them in a reasonable time, not make me wait years with an unsafe product.
After hitting a piece of ice the abs system kicked in and did what it was suppose to do, however since this happen my brake pedal continues to go's to the floor barely stopping my vehicle, there are no lights on to indicate any problem, but something is wrong as brake pedal should not be that soft and go to the floor. i looked this up to see if there are any issues with other ford fusions and found that it is a problem with many ford fusions, isn't this a serious safety concern, my brakes go to the floor and there is no light to indicate there is a problem with the braking system when obviously there is or my pedal wouldn't be going to the floor.
Takata recall, not getting done, i have been trying for more then 5mos to get this recall done, 3 times the dealer (delacy ford) has told me they ordered the part and would call me when it comes in..never get a call, i have called ford customer service with more broken promises. they even called a second dealer (basil ford) and said that dealer would call me to schedule an appointment, 3 weeks later, still no call.

There has been a recall on my airbags but there hasn't been a solution. it's been a few years and it doesn't make sense to drive this car anymore. i expect either my airbags be fixed immediately or funds to go towards a different car, considering the airbags aren't safe.
I received a recall notice for the passenger seat airbag from ford in 2017, and according to the notice, one of the manufacture near me will contact me to schedule an appointment. however i haven't hear anything related to the recall. i even chatted with one of the agents of ford, she said the model is not available at the time. it's been more than 10 months from the chat now.

Takata recall i received a notice months ago concerning the recall. i called two different ford dealerships. one in ozark mo and one in springfield mo. both acknowledged there is a recall. both said they had to order parts. neither dealership ever called me to install new airbag.i then received information concerning the settlement. i am entering the date of 9/5/18 because it is my understanding this is was the date of the preliminary approval hearing.
Takata recall: i have received 3 notices for this recall but each time it says part is not available at this time. not only do i have to worry about my car being unsafe due to this recall i have learned this model is also having problems with brakes freezing up which has happened to me several times in the last 4 years. there is no recall on brake issues but i know there has been hundreds of complaints about this issue as well

Tried to brake as usual and brakes were not as responsive and needed more pressure/time to stop. abs light came on shortly after. ford believes that the cause is abs module and/or abs hcu (abs pump motor failure). they are unable to determine actual cause until i py $3,000 to replace each potential issue. while brakes seem to operate ok now, the car needs more time to stop. have seen multiple complaints online w the same issue (spongy brakes, abs module failures). i have also been unable to obtain the recall replacement for passenger side airbag as they are short on parts.
We were notified in january 2017 of the airbag recall. we have contacted our dealer every 2 to 3 month since then. on 06/08/2018 we received a letter stating that they would provide a rental car until the airbag was ready to be replaced. we are now unable to get a rental car. i transport children in the car daily and i need a safe car for them to ride in.
Takata recall: i received a letter about the recall and that i would be contacted when parts were available. months later i have now gotten a letter saying no parts are available so ford will provide a rental car, but when i called the dealer they said they could not do that because the recall is years long. so it seems i am just driving in a known unsafe car with no recourse
Takata recall. i purchased this car from keith hawthorne ford in march 2009. the car was new and now has only been driven 35,000 miles. i returned to them for servicing until 10/30/20014 (21,646 miles) for servicing. because, i was not getting any answers concerning the recall, i then went to honest-1 for servicing until recently when my son told me to take it to a ford dealership and they will take care of the recall. when the recall was announced, then the takata bankrupt announcement. i kept asking ford dealerships. first keith hawthorne ford, then performance ford and now felix sabates ford here in charlotte, nc all on south blvd.the status of the recall. the answers were. "takata went bankrupt. "we haven't received the part yet. we will call you when we get it." hawthorne ford never called! additionally, "they sent the wrong part." now felix sabates just announced at my last servicing on 04/24/20018, (33,386 miles) "that i have gone beyond the limitation of the recall, and ford is no longer required to honor the recall." i was also told that i received a letter announcing the recall. i did not received a letter announcing the recall! to say that i am upset is a understatement. i worry for my wife's safety every time she gets in the passenger seat anywhere we go. respectfully submitted,
Takata recall --now nearly 1.5 years after the recall was announced, and still no part available to fix the car.
