I have had my cruise control sensor replaced multiple times within the last two years due to it not activating. after the last repair within 3 months it again stopped acting ating. this was about 8 months ago. 3 weeks ago i went to release my parking brake and heard a loud thud sound. the foot pedal would no longer catch and simply made a clicking sound. i had already scheduled an appointment for december 16, 2019 to repair my catalytic converter due to a recall that had been issued and let the service department know i had concerns with what possibly could be my emergency brake cable. they told me i could pay to gave it diagnosed but i let them know i would have to reschedule. within this last week my truck has been flashing the traction warning light as well as the electronic throttle control sensor light which seems to come on sporadically. i am concerned that the emergency brake line could have been caught through a recall for approximately 276,000 model-year 2012-15 dodge journey suvs manufactured between april 21, 2012, and april 14, 2015. this seal of the wiring harness may have prevent water ...
About three weeks ago, the abs and check light came on, i researched recalls and took car to schlossmann's dodge city. i was advised that due to weather and water leaking into wire harness that it was corroded. in which this is the basis of the r61 recall. however, since my issue is with left wheel sensor and not the front right, it is not covered. i am wondering what the difference is - if the result and cause is the same - why would it not be covered? i have also noticed that the cruise control no longer works - is this related?
At first, when i started the car, it had trouble turning on, so i waited a while to try again and it did. while i was driving it smelled like something was burning and i noticed that both the abs and brake light when off. i pulled over on the side of the highway and turned off the car. i go to turn it on again and it just didn't after that.

Two days ago my abs and esc light came on, i have also noticed since then i have no cruise control. in the winter here the roads are quite sick, and the antilock brakes that are on this vehicle no longer function. when i was driving into work and came to a stop light, i tried to stop and kept sliding as a result.

This car has just a little over 33145 miles and i just found out that the rotors on the back have rusted so bad that they wore out the back bracks and cannot be turned down they have to be replaced. i had my grandchildren in this car less than 2 weeks ago and my car was inspected in august by a dodge dealer and then i took it back on 8/28/17 because the brake light was on they said the brakes were fine i have it on the invoice front brakes 10/32 80% and 7/32 60% but they said they were fine there no way that rusted in 2 months to that point. i will have midas take a picture of those rotors when they fix my car tomorrow $600.00 for car repairs this week alone. dodge need to pay for my rotors and labor and they are refusing because i will not take it back to the dealer. i will not have mine or my families lives risked again. i am done with dodge two brand new dodge journeys in 4 years and major problems with the brakes, low headlight beams and electrical issues not to mention 2 ...
I own a 2014 dodge journey with about 51k miles on it. since yesterday, this vehicle has been shutting off and stalling while i am driving. the radio will flicker on and off and the instrument cluster will show all warning lights in a flashing manner, after a few seconds of that, the car will completely turn off while still in drive. on october 3rd, i was making a right turn, and the vehicle shut off mid turn. the brakes became stiff, lost the ability to steer the wheel and also lost functionality to my hazards. this morning, i was driving this same vehicle to my local dodge/chrysler dealership and the car once again shut off on me. this time i was in the process of taking off from a red light when the vehicle stopped in the middle of the intersection. again, i lost the ability to even use my hazards. i am going to have it towed to my local dealership within the next few hours.
I bought this vehicle about a year ago when it only had 16k miles on it and i just found out that my vehicle had warped rotors and brakes with now only 27k miles on it. after only having it for a year none of this should be going on with it.
Vehicle shuts off while driving it. car starts back up and running fines. it has shut off going through and intersection. lucky no traffic was coming from any direction. car will start back up every time. have seen lots of complaints about this vehicle and issue.
complaints involving idler pulley and brake system. on june 4, 2017, while driving on the interstate, my steering wheel locked up. i was able to pull to the side of the road and then the car started malfunctioning. it completely died and would not start. i found out from the dealership on june 5, 2017 that the issue was related to the idler pulley crumbling which in-turn caused the serpentine belt to break. on july 9, 2017, i was at a stop light on the i-10 frontage road. when the light turned green, i could not go because the brakes locked up. i had to put the car in park, turn it off and then turn it back on in order for the brakes to loosen up. to say i'm frustrated with dodge is an understatement. during both instances, my 8-yr old daughter was in the car with me. i've only had this car for three years, it isn't paid off and i'm having these problems that could potentially be life threatening. a recall needs to happen with this ...
