I was driving down the road and my lights turned off my headlights and dash lights had to hold my brights on because they wouldnt stay on by themselves, my dash speedometers had kept going up and down as if my car was dying almost hit a deer due to no headlights and driving at night.
Vehicle trunk opens on it's own when you first start vehicle. this also drains the battery. trunk opens electrically. this has happened on numerous occasions.

Tl* the contact owns a 2010 dodge charger. the contact stated that while stopped at a traffic light, the vehicle stalled without warning. the contact was unable to restart the vehicle. the vehicle was towed to (fairway ford inc 444 us-117, burgaw, nc 28425) but was not repaired. the manufacturer was not contacted or informed of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 132,000.
Change tires and the low tire light doesn't come off. trunk will not unlock from key fob or inside car. key hole to open door easy to break into. car keep cutting off while driving on several occasion. cut off while in the middle of intersection.
While driving on a 2 lane highway with traffic behind me, the car shuts down and i lose power while driving. the steering wheel locked up making it very difficult to turn. i pressed the gas repeatedly and nothing happened. cars behind me were blowing but there wasn't much i could do. the car was slowing down anyway so i pressed the brake and they worked so i struggled like crazy to turn the steering wheel and was able to put the car into a church driveway. thank god the brakes worked or it could've been ugly. i tried starting the car but it wouldn't do anything but act like it wanted to start. it wasn't a clicking it was more like a winding noise like a ruuu ruuu ruuu. i tried to start it again and it made the same noise but it sounded worse. i had to have the car towed to my home because there wasn't a repair shop opened that late. i'm going to call a mechanic to see what the issue might be. this is not the first time this has happened to me. it happened two in april and three times ...
Rear power supply started smoking after a charging component was plugged in. smoked for awhile after removing the rear panel that adjust the heat seaters the wires was burnt all the way to the wire harness of the middle console. dont know if this faulty wiring but it is a fire hazard if not fixed.the vehicle was parked at the time.
Fuse 26 in secondary pdc in truck for power to tcm (transmission) module blown. vehicle would not shut off completely due to shifter physically in park, but software indicating still in drive. could not open truck with either fob button or truck button on dash to check fuses or disconnect battery. no exterior key hole to open trunk manually. this is a safety issue if car catches fire.
I have 2 problems. first while driving all my warning lights will flash on then go right off. another problem i have is my car will turn over and sometimes start but die immediately. once i get it started it will go fine for a while before doing it again. by the looks of my research both problems are pretty common in 2006 chargers.
