I've experienced air bag service warnings along with service parking brake warnings and service and. at one point i was on cruise control goj g 65 mph when all of a sudden all the warnings came on at once and my car shifted itself into neatral and then loss power for a second. luckily no one was behind me. i never received a notice of this recall but when i looked it up there was in fact a recall.

Muiltple problems with the engine. it's been replaced &i i'm still having a problem with it.. this is the second time have to pay a deductible due to the car randomly shutting off. shifting into n.. the first time they said it was an internal engine leak:.. then within a few months i started having the same issue. i've had the car for a years & i haven't been able to move it in 3 months. the car keeps having problems after problem and it's still under the warranty.. but i'm paying the payments on a car i can't use for no other reason but factory problems

I purchased this vehicle used at 61708. i'll say a week into me driving it off the lot the airbag light will occasionally pop on. i thought because one day i forgot to put my gas cap on but even after it will randomly pop up. i got services done to my vehicle 02/07/18. it is now the 13th of february and airbag warning has popped up.
Airbag warning continues to come & on was on when i first the car. electrical power for windows dim lighting and oil lift isn't firing correctly . all of this happens while thevehicle is in motion.
Takata recall my passenger air bag light keeps coming on. no one is not in the seat. i have to put things in my seat in order for the light to not come on.

Takata recall. i got a letter couple months ago about a recall on the air bags saying that they are defected and the company who put them in are going bankrupt. since i been driving the chrysler(2017) its has been stalling when i drive. when i brought it i asked me man was there anything wrong he said no. there is still stalling when i drive as if its switching gears(kinda like a stick shift) it's scary because i have kids and places i take the car to is saying its its suppose to do that. i've drove many cars and never experienced the problem. when i'm on the highway an i'm on auto cruise it shifts from the # i have it on to a higher level then once again it's like it wants to stalls and kinda jerks. that's not normal at all because if i'm on auto cruise at 65 mph why wouldnt ot just stay there instead of just trying to switch gears? every day when i leave its jerks when i pull off as i'd it's a sticks shift. happens literally all the time. i took it to different shops one says it's a recall but others say it's nothing wrong and i cant find anything on who i'm suppose to talk to and really get this looked at
On december 31, 2017 my wife and i were on our way homefrom church when the seat belt light came on. we read the owners manual, not able to do anything cause of the holidays. on january 2, 2018 i called the chrysler dealer near me and set up an appointment to have it checked out. later that day the service man called and said it was the air bag on the passenger seat and a short wire harness, the cost would be about $800.00 which i spent $127.00 to have it checked out. i did not have it repaired because i feel this is a chrysler problem. at this time our air bags don't work. i feel this is a safety issue that chrysler should be responsible for. this dealer told me that they have had a number of service calls of this same problem. i also called two other dealer, and they told me they have had many issues of the same problem. they all stock replacement parts so this must be an a serious issue. the dealer called our extended warranty co. and it was not covered. i called chrysler and never got a return call after she hung up on me. so at this time this is why i am writing you. *js

The service airbag system goes off repeatedly while car is in motion. this happens regardless of passengers being in the passenger seat.
On november 29, 2017 at approximately 5:15 pm, was driving approximately 25mph in traffic on a two lane. i hit the brake to stop, no brakes, and i hit the person in front of me. after hitting them, i bounced off and continued to move with no brakes. my airbags did not deploy and i sustained injuries to me chest, neck, head and back. i was able to steer the car in the right side lane and eventually was able to steer into a parking lot; still with no brakes. i looked down to pull up the emergency brake and saw the shifter in neutral. i then put the shifter in park and the car finally stopped. i do not yet have the police report. i did not receive a ticket, but was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

My airbag service light came on while driving down a local street with no warning. the car has never been in an accident, i purchased the car new (with 6 miles), i searched if there was a recall for this issue, however, the nhtsa website only site 78 vehicles affected in the recall. i checked and my car was not included. this issue should be resolved for fear the airbags will deploy while simply driving down the highway, or even worse, the airbag will not deploy in the event of an accident.
Purchased car 10/2017. almost immediately problem with seat belt light. dealer said needed callibration and did. problem persists. also have problem with something in car turning over, jerking, while driving, almost like car wants to stall, on highway and on city street. first occurrence approximately november 2017. most recent occurrence december 27, 2018.
My airbag light has came on after having my oil changed and it won't go off 5/6/2017. then yesterday 11/6/2017 my car would not start because my battery was dead but i just purchased the car used in march and the battery should be dead after 2 years. my check engine light ended up coming on after having aaa jump start my vehicle and i'm just having issues that i shouldn't be experiencing and i'd think my airbag should still be covered under warranty.

Car purchased 10/21/2016, 3 months later problems began. 01/16/2016 service air bag light came on and will not go off. dealer said it is not covered under my extended warranty, for what reason i still don't know. taken the car to 3 different shops to work on it and i keep being told it is a passenger seat connector, yet i have had this done 3 times now...$500 out of pocket each time, the light is still on as of 11/10/2017. now the car also has a service engine light on constantly along with this airbag light. as well as of 10/25/2017 my car has began to tell me the engine is running hot while i'm driving, but the thermostat display inside never even gets to half.. so not sure about this now. as well as also telling me to service the electronic throttle control as soon as the overheat sensor goes off. lastly i was at the gas station the other day and the car wouldn't start, it said the keyfob not detected but it was in my hand! had to google what to do..(which is put nose of keyfob to button and press it that way if happens to anybody else) soo that would be a total of 4 different lights on at this time of 11/10/2017. enterprise has yet to help me or get back to me on any of these issues. it was a rental car before i bought it from them, obviously they sold me a lemon! as i was getting an oil change on 11/01/17 i had them run codes and it and it read i needed a new thermostat to take care of the engine overheating and the etc light...needless to say this has been a car from hell. i have filed complaints to enterprise about this car repeatedly especially with it all happening so soon after getting the car. i'm stuck with it now so i would love for somebody to know what there doing and actually fix this car!!!
Airbag light turns on and off while driving any speed. it's happened on the street at 25 mph and on highway going 65mph. makes no difference . sometimes stays on for long sometimes takes off right away . called my dealer but said there's no recall for my vin

My air bag light randomly came on while driving 20mph in a school zone taking my daughter to school. it went off them randomly came back on again today and hasn't went off. i hope this is a recall because it seems to be a very common problem. when i called t he dealership they informed me that it wasn't an recall and would cost over 200 just to diagnose it!!! my car is a 2015 with only 47,000 miles on it!!
On october 2, 2017, as i was preparing to start the car, i noticed that the bell kept ringing. and when tried to start the car, it wouldn't start. so after sitting in the car for about two minutes, it started, but hesitantly. also, the air bags warning light had been coming on since last week. i was driving when the warning light for the airbags came on.
The air bag service system message just popped up while driving, and remains on as a message every time the vehicle is started and while driving.
I feel strongly the nhtsa should look into the growing number of complaints pertaining to 2015 chrysler 200 air bag issues. a dashboard message stating service air bag system appears then then disappears from my dashboard. it stays on for a few days then goes off for a couple days. a 2015 car should not be having air bag issues. i have no confidence that my air bags will actually work.
Takata recall an air bag light came on in my vehicle for the second time. the first time, it went off after a couple of minutes. this time, it was on for a while. i called into the dealer and chrysler, confirmed there are no open recalls, but that even at only 41,231 miles this is not covered. in edmunds site, there were recalls of march 2016 for vehicles with the same production date range of my vehicle, however my vehicle wasn't included. as a result, i will need to pay $120 for the diagnostics alone, then for the repair. the light came on as i was driving on a local city street at about 35mph.

Takata recall air bag light came on when i started my car. it says service air bag system. i called chrysler because i seen there was a recall on my kind of vehicle and i was informed that my vehicle was not affected by the recall. but the light remains on.
Air bag has come on after 62469 mile and it will not go off. it not on the recall list. but, i see this is an ongoing problem with these vehicles.
I've only had the car 7-8 months. got in it on august 17, 2017 and started it, a warning came on to have my arebags serviced. checked owners manuel and it advised that the airbag system was maintenance free. called dealership and was told no recall.

The airbag service light came on i took it in to where i bought it and they said they had to reset it . it went off and 2 days later it came back on and never went off.. now it stays on. i was told there is no recall for my car. the transmission jolts when going from 2nd into 3rdwhile driving also. and my middle console the controls air and sound works when it feels like it.

Takata recall,. i purchased this car used a year ago, within a month the service airbag light came on. i took it to dealer and they said the was the olug under the seat and reset the computer. he said to keep the area below the passenger seat clear so the plug doesn't get moved. a month later the service airbag light came back on. i can't keep bringing it into the shop. now i have to inspect the car and it fails because of the stupid airbag. it's costing me money and time. this model needs to have a recall done for safety.

My light for the front passenger has turned on. i called the jeep dealership last year around july of last year and told me they could do nothing for me because my vin number was not part of the recall. it has turned off and on for the past couple months. the light continues to stay and is not turning off and the sound keeps going off every couple minutes.

After having the vehicle for less than a year, approximately 7 minths, the airbag light apeared and stared to service air bag system. after taking to the dealer, they advised that service wasn't covered under warranty but is a known issue withthis car.
Air bag warning light turned on every time the car started. i took it to prestige chrysler and dodge to see about it. while waiting on my ride to the enterprise there were other customers with the same complaint. after 2.5 days of waiting the vehicle was ready. i had to ask what the diagnosis /prognosis was and per devon my service advisor told me that there was something loose underneath the driver seat that caused the warning light lit. the part was replaced.
