My car was in an accident and the airbags only came out on the passenger side and the driver side not the front none of the airbags came out at the front of the dash board

The light to get airbag serviced keeps coming on and going off. it has started stalling randomly while driving or coming to a stop. noticed that it didn't do it as bad once car was warmed up, but then it dropped power while we were in traffic on a bridge overpass and we had to limp it home. looked up the warning light meanings and it said we should not drive it as it will either lose power without warning and have to be limped or it will accelerate and we would have no way to stop it. so i have a car that cannot be driven and i had seen that there were recalls for similar problems however, when i put my vin number in, it said there were no unrepaired recalls for this vin number.*dt consumer's husband and son-in-law repaired the vehicle.*jb

Service air bag system notice comes on, as well with the vehicle driving groggy. does not have proper throttle response, engine shudders and vibrates as well with stalling at a red light. all happens while driving and sitting stationary.
The headlights will cut out as im driving.. sometimes one side first then both.. or both st the same time.. as im driving the air bag light comes on and off on its own my tpms light will come on and some days it won't show the psi in the tire on the dash
Check engine light came on. had vehicle check and got a code. u1504 implausible message data length received from steering angle sensor. airbag clockspring needs to be replace because airbad may not doploy during an accident. was told to contact the dealership to see if there was a recall. there is not at this time. this is a defective part of the saftey system on the car and they do not want to cover it.

Takata recall. to begin, my car wouldn't accelerate, i'd be driving and it would hesitate then take off reallty hard as to even jerk. did this a couple of times before i took it in to the dealership, one place told me it was nothing wrong, took it to another dealership because it kept stalling as i was on the highway and they said it was an electrical issue. then another issue occurred with the dash illuminating telling me my airbags alert displaying on my dash (2x)took it back to dealership, though they kept it for a week, they said it was because someone kicked the wiring loose under my passenger seat. no one has ever sat in my back seat. now my car is in the shop because at first the malfunction light illuminated, drove my car to work, returned to my car and it wouldn't start, had roadside jumpstart it, and it started, went back out later and it wouldn't start, as i tried to get out, my dash lit up and i had to push the button for it to turn off, as i'm walking away, my car literally tries to accelerate on its own, as if i hit my remote start. had it taken into the dealership. they diagnosed my car as having a faulty climate control module ( first off, i drive 17 miles to and from work everyday, my climate control has been beyond functional, i literally have to turn it off because it gets so cold in my car) and they also said my car stalled because of a bad battery, and said the burning i smelled on the passenger door was a faulty wire and thats why its not functioning properly, which they're repairing, but charging me for it. i have had so many issues with this car since i purchased it. when i'm driving and turn the wheel to the left, it sounds like something is going to break, also my breaks will lock up on me if it's raining and i'll slide ( really)?? this car has been nothing less then a lemon.
I've had multiple issues. first, my car stalled as i was driving down main streets, the first time i took it to the dealership, they said they couldn't find a problem with it. second dealership i took it to said it was an electrical issue my car was having, kept it for a week, repaired the issue.second time i took it in was because my airbag alert illuminated on the dash, again, they said it was a wiring issue, someone had kicked the wiring loose under the passenger seat.then i had it towed in because it completely stopped on me while i was driving it .now it's in the shop because the malfunction came on, i still attempted to drive it to work,but when i went back out for lunch, it wouldn't start. roadside jumpstarted it, and it started. went back out when i got off work and it wouldn't start... however, while i was getting out, the dash lit up as and kept beeping as if the car was running, so i actually had to push the start button to turn it off , weird, right! but then as i'm walking away from the car, it's trying to accelerate on its own, as if i was trying to remote start it. had it towed to dealership. they're diagnostic explanation for my car - my climate control module doesn't work, and i need a new battery, and yes my door panel had some faulty wires and they're waiting for the parts to repair this, but it's something i have to pay for. when i turn my car to the left, it sounds like something is going to break. my tires slide when it's raining, even though i purchased new ones. also, my climate control has been beyond functioning. i drive 17 miles to and from work, and i have to turn it down because it's freezing sometimes. it's sad to know i purchased a lemon and that they cannot be honest about their recalls and making sure my safety comes before their negligence., and stop trying to coverup their screwups in manufacturing a total lemon.

Air bag sensor, cooling thermostat and hosing. shocks headlight issues electrical. i have put two thermostat and changed hosing twice. there are sever recalls listed on the same make year and model and under my vin there's no recalls yet i'm experiencing the same issues that were recalled on the same year make and model. this does not make since why isn't my car covered for the recalls. i took my car to chrysler dealer and called cooperate and they said my car isn't covered but there's recalls with the same issues for the same year make and model.
Current airbag light is on and dealer says it isn't covered under warranty but that it may or may not malfunction. total cost for repair is $2500. they say it's an issue with closed loop feedback
I was involved in an accident with my car. a car turned in front of me while i had the right of way. i did not have time to even hit the brakes. so the front of my car hit the vehicle. i was going about 40 mph. the whole front bumper came off and the steel support bar and the frame was twisted. my airbags never deployed. i did sustain injuries! this was not the first issue i had with this car. i bought it in 2017 and a week later the car started downshifting as i was driving all the time. it would stall and the transmission light would come on. i brought it to chrysler and was told that the original owner had s6arted the recall process on the transmission!! i was infuriated that i was not told. after rental cars because i couldnt use it while the recall stuff was being done. and me bringing it back and forth 3 times with the problem still persisting! yet again the car downshifted in traffic and was forced to go off the road. finally they replaced the transmission. a year later and my car still does not switch gears right and the check engine light never goes off!!! i am now gonna sue the hell out of chrysler!!
Airbag light comes on intermittently and i had it to the dealer once who stated it was a seat wiring issue and fixed it... so i thought, now 3 months later the light is back on intermittently and the estimate to fix it is over $ 3,000 because 2 airbags need to be replaced/fix. my understanding is that there are older 2015 chrysler 200 models that have a recall to fix this same problem but chrysler hasn't and won't extend it through all the 2015 chrysler 200 models. it is a safety issue and if it is happening still in the same year later models, don't you think they never resolved the issue and kept building cars knowingly?? hmmmm
Vehicle shuts off randomly while driving and sending a message to put in park and restart vehicle. several message lights come on that indicate there is an issue with the electrical components. also, the service airbag message comes on every few seconds and airbag light stays on.
2015 chrysler 200 limited when accelerating from park the car is reving to 3rd and 4th but going slowly getting stuck between those two gears then jerking and giving dragging affect after. while on the highway or street car drags after stopping and then accelerating. var feels as if it is fishtailing and the wheels are getting stuck for a mibute before it jerks back into place. air bag sensor goes on and off from time to time. when it comes on it will sometimes stay on for days sometimes weeks at a time. oil changes have been done regularly. juat started happening on 6/19/2019. car seems to pull and vibrate even harder when the a/c unit is on. car also has a hard vibrating noise under hood. miles:93,800 transmission is under warranty until 100,000 miles no check engine light has came on as of yet.

My husband got was leaving work today 6/12/19 and pull out from his job to enter traffic but once he was straight in the lane the car began to slow down so he had to pull into a gas station to try and get back started which took about 5 mins of the car winding before it started. so when he got home i had to take my daughter to summer camp and as soon as i made a right turn onto the street and acceralted the car began to shut down again and took about 15 mins in a highly traffic area before it restarted but now the air bag light is stuck on and a warning engine wait light also came on before the car started

First problem: the car stalls and/or dies while driving. it did this while my daughter was driving and she had to pull over on the highway. i managed to get it started and drive it home but it would not go over 25 mph. the check engine light, the electronic throttle control light, and the traction control light (?) were all on. second problem: there is a message to service airbag system comes on. i did some research and found other people wit the same problem. on the yellow wire box under the passenger seat, there was a black latch (?) that clicked when i squeezed. the message went away.
Several diagnostics codes relating to recalls issued involving transmission, electrical systems and air bags present on vehichle. chyrsler refuses to honor stating that those issues doesn't effect m my vin #. veheicle stalls and air bag maintenance light is on for over a year now.
Tl* the contact owns a 2015 chrysler 200. the contact stated that the air bag warning indicator illuminated. in addition, the contact had to reach underneath the dashboard to release the brake and remove the battery cable for 15 minutes in order to start the vehicle. the contact spoke with blackburn chrysler dodge jeep ram (2135 n frontage road, vicksburg, ms 39180, (601) 636-2766) and was informed to bring in the vehicle for diagnostic testing. the manufacturer was not contacted. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure mileage was 84,000.
My car wouldn't start when you hold down the breaks and the start button and it has when it rains or after it rains but i change the battery and the key fob battery not that long ago and i'm confused on what's happening.

We are a repair shop reporting this issue.the referenced vehicle arrived with a complaint of the airbag light on.tech found trouble code b0020-13(left side seat deployment squib 1- circuit open)stored in airbag module.tech also found a tsb (see photos)requiring replacement of both front seat complete airbag wiring harnesses with an updated version.the existing condition can cause the side curtain airbags to not deploy in event of a crash.chrysler has not issued a recall or offered any warranty extension on this known problem that effects 201- 2017 jeep cherokees and 2015- 2017 chrysler 200s.it is our feeling that this known condition presents a serious safety concern to owners of the affected vehicles, and is an extremely costly repair for a safety concern that should not fall on the shoulder of the consumer.
I have been having issues with this car since day 1 and nobody will do anything about it. first it act like it wants to cut off while i'm driving, then it went to acting like it didn't want to start and now my car has been sitting up for months and will not start at all. it's reading airbag systems and warming engine wait to start. when i wait it still won't start. i'm still paying american car center my money for something i can't even drive and they keep telling me someone will get back with me and never do.

Service airbag system light came on for no reason, vehicle wasn't even in motion, many other vehicles of the same year and model are under recall, maybe this should be too?
Takata recall. my airbag light sensor on the dash of my vehicle lit up along with the seatbelt light while i was driving by myself with the seatbelt on correctly and nothing sitting in any of the passenger seats. the dash displays a message of "service airbag system". when coming to a stop, the dash displays"driver seatbelt unbuckled" while my seatbelt is buckled. i have checked the vehicle for recalls and none are currently listed with the nhtsa or the dealership under my particular vin. i have had the vehicle diagnosed at a chrysler dealership/service center and was notified that the orc ("occupant restraint controller") was non responsive. they (chrysler service center employee) informed me that i was responsible for the care and maintenance of the safety device that is defective in my vehicle. while sitting in park with the vehicle motor running in a parking lot there were three loud pops in my vehicle and a smelly smoky substance throughout the vehicle. i did not see any air bags visibly deploy.

Airbag light came on in mid to late 2018. car had ~65,000 at the time. had the car diagnosed at the dealership and they said it was a wiring harness and charged me $300 to fix it. march 2019, the airbag light comes on. it appears on the dash for no apparent reason as i'm driving at highway speeds. after the initial audible and visual alarm, the visual alarm stays on and the audible alarm repeats every minute. returned the car to the dealership (autopark chrysler jeep in cary, north carolina) expecting that the repair would be covered due to the recent repair. they told me it was a different wiring harness and it would be ~$3300. when i asked the service manager if the car was hazardous to drive, he responded "absolutely". i have since parked the car and it has sat idle since.

Note this did not all happen in the same day you are separate occurrences. first issue car shift itself in the park when i was at a red light on a city street would not shift back into. second airbag light keeps coming on telling me to service airbag system comes on and off. 3rd i lose all power to electrical components. i was driving at night on the highway i lost all power to my headlights interior lights radio everything electrical.
I purchased my 200 in 2017, the abs indicator light will not go off, there actually a recall but, my vin doesn't show it. my emergency park has ignites on its while stationary at a stop sign and while in traffic at a red light, thankfully there wasn't any semi-trucks behind me because, there would have been a fatality. the car has lost power while in motion at least 3 times. just recently my car become stuck in neutral and the car would not move. i called chrysler, they stated that it was a powertrain issue and it would be covered with my warranty, so they paid for the tow to the dealership, the dealership had the car for a day, they counterclaimed what chrysler stated, they claimed that it was because, the battery was just replaced so the computer needed to be re-set but, this happened on 2/12/2019 and my battery was replaced on 9/2018. there was a recall in 8/2015 for this exact same issue. i talked to the guys at my regular service station and as soon as i told them what happen they knew that i was lied to by the local chrysler dealership.
I bought a chysler 200 limited 2015 vehicle. i keep getting a lite for the passanger side airbag. the transmission has issues. the car "kicks" frequently, especially in between gears. i called chysler about the chrysler 200 limited 2016 recall but they said my car does not qualify - ??
2 codes come up; right side door electrical wiring along with right side air bag unit problem. vehicle has staled several times.
The airbag light goes off for no reason, had in the shop 3 times and they keep resetting the light. the last time they said that it may possibly have a short somewhere in the harness

I have a 2015 chrysler 200. while driving my car will just stall in the middle of traffic and not move, air bag light continues to come on repeatedly. i've had this issue looked at twice by the dealership. they charge me and swear it's fixed. this is the third time this has occurred and i get no one with the dealership. the situation is horrifying and unsafe. i decide to place a review seeing i'm getting nowhere with my local dealership. i just need the issue resolved.
