On a return trip back home from store less than 2 miles from my house car stalled after turning onto a side street going only a few mph,engine cut off,radio was still on. was able to pull into the closest parking lot, "shift to p" comes up on dash, battery light comes on. i put the car into park. turn it off, tried to restart it and it struggled to turn over a few times before finally coming back on. stalled again pulling into my parking lot. next day i tried to go to the store again and same thing happened pulling into store and pulling into parking lot.... this happened a few months back, after an oil change it stopped, but this time i am not due for an oil change and oil level is fine.
When i attempt to turn my car on, i receive a message that says engine warming please wait to start. i wait a few minutes and it's turns on. while driving today it turned off in the middle of the street and when i would attempt to start it i would get the same message. car would not start at all.
Over the last 3-4 days my 2015 chrysler 200 has been very unpredictable, leaving my self and my family afraid and unable to drive it. several times, while in motion on a main highway and on a a city street (x3) my vehicle has completely jolted me to a stop, either shutting down or saying i was in p instead of drive. obviously, i had started and shifted to drive to get from point a to my "shut down" location, which leaves me confused on why it would say i was in park all of the sudden. no, my emergency break was not on. also, it also seems as if it was try sticking in either d3 or d4 gears randomly from time to time over the last week. i was helped by 3 officers to get my vehicle pushed and moved back to my residence. this last incident occurred while trying to break at a stop light. i am unsure of the components causing these problems so i am listing them as unknown. i have reviewed 8 recalls pertaining 2015 chrysler 200s but am unsure of a recall number i would list.
The whole car ( electrical system & engine ) shut off while i was drive ( gear in drive and foot on gas) on a city street this is the 2nd time the car has done this with in the month ... i bought the car 6 weeks ago
My batterie died and the knob was still lighting up in neutral and emergency break was on an wouldnt start.thevehicle was parked in my parkingspace all night.came out too take kids to school and wouldnt starttried new batterie then it wouldnt shut off still in neutral according to the knob but itty wouldnt shift greater one emergency break wouldnt shut off
2 times car has lost power while driving it. once car started right back up but the last time it took about a minute before it would restart. this is a major safety issue. no signs of alternator issues and car will start with auto start.
While turning, the car just turned off. when i restarted it struggled to turn on. also when im driving it feel like turning back off..
After reaching 75,000 miles, my car started to stall and turn off by itself while driving. i performed an oil change, made sure all the maintenance was up to date, etc. it has a new battery less than a year old, new tires, etc. eventually it stalled and shut off on its own while stopped and would not turn back on. every time i try to turn it back on, it stalls and shuts off but the shifter lights blink repeatedly. i have a code that appeared on a mechanic's code reader which was u1504. he could not diagnose it. chrysler would not look at it and wanted $125 just to do diagnostics. i just wanted to know if this was one of the recalled issues as i know they have been having engine and transmission issues.
The car stalled at a stop sign and stalled again 3 times after that. it read shift to p to start i did that and it would not let me change gear after that. i know this is a common problem with the chrysler 200 so it should be a recall. this is a huge safety issue it happened while driving in a roundabout and people could have rear ended me.
It all started when i put in on drive and it told me to put it on park and i did and it started to fail it?s keeps turning off and on running and all the lights turn off it was late at night when it shut off and my wife had my car with my kids on the freeway it could of been worse
First thing, the tire pressure is always showing uneven pressure. the man issues with this car is that it cuts off while you're driving. it doesn't matter what speed you're going. it just shuts off. recently, it didn't want to start back up.
My mecanic checked my card connected to a computer and told me i have a recall for my vehicle the code that came up was p1720-00but unfortunately when i try to type in my vehicle vin number it does not show up as any recalls but i'm having difficulties with my car because my mechanic told me on the computer it showing it has a code which we googled and it is a record to this vehicle
The car jercks often. and makes a wired noise and the mileage light blikks on and off non stop. airbag light is on

Transmission issues for almost a year. i have explained them to the dealership who refuses to document. i purchased this car new the summer of 2015. it had sealants misssing from the manufacture and so it had a leak that resulted in the dealership having my car for 2 months and me having to force them to replace my carpeting they let sit in the sun for 2 weeks and mold and to replace parts in my car that they broke the clips on trying to find the leak. several times they called me to come and get my car with mold in it and parts still hanging. i had to get managers involved. i came to get an oil change once and they sent me out onto the street without tightening the lugs and i was wobbling down the street and they lied and said the pressure was off balance. once my car shut off with no oil it. they said it's likely the engine. my tire pressure has been saying its low since about a week after purchasing the car. soon as i put air in, less than 24 hours its low. the windshield wipers have always sounded ...
