On a return trip back home from store less than 2 miles from my house car stalled after turning onto a side street going only a few mph,engine cut off,radio was still on. was able to pull into the closest parking lot, "shift to p" comes up on dash, battery light comes on. i put the car into park. turn it off, tried to restart it and it struggled to turn over a few times before finally coming back on. stalled again pulling into my parking lot. next day i tried to go to the store again and same thing happened pulling into store and pulling into parking lot.... this happened a few months back, after an oil change it stopped, but this time i am not due for an oil change and oil level is fine.
When i attempt to turn my car on, i receive a message that says engine warming please wait to start. i wait a few minutes and it's turns on. while driving today it turned off in the middle of the street and when i would attempt to start it i would get the same message. car would not start at all.
Over the last 3-4 days my 2015 chrysler 200 has been very unpredictable, leaving my self and my family afraid and unable to drive it. several times, while in motion on a main highway and on a a city street (x3) my vehicle has completely jolted me to a stop, either shutting down or saying i was in p instead of drive. obviously, i had started and shifted to drive to get from point a to my "shut down" location, which leaves me confused on why it would say i was in park all of the sudden. no, my emergency break was not on. also, it also seems as if it was try sticking in either d3 or d4 gears randomly from time to time over the last week. i was helped by 3 officers to get my vehicle pushed and moved back to my residence. this last incident occurred while trying to break at a stop light. i am unsure of the components causing these problems so i am listing them as unknown. i have reviewed 8 recalls pertaining 2015 chrysler 200s but am unsure of a recall number i would list.
The whole car ( electrical system & engine ) shut off while i was drive ( gear in drive and foot on gas) on a city street this is the 2nd time the car has done this with in the month ... i bought the car 6 weeks ago
My batterie died and the knob was still lighting up in neutral and emergency break was on an wouldnt start.thevehicle was parked in my parkingspace all night.came out too take kids to school and wouldnt starttried new batterie then it wouldnt shut off still in neutral according to the knob but itty wouldnt shift greater one emergency break wouldnt shut off
2 times car has lost power while driving it. once car started right back up but the last time it took about a minute before it would restart. this is a major safety issue. no signs of alternator issues and car will start with auto start.

After reaching 75,000 miles, my car started to stall and turn off by itself while driving. i performed an oil change, made sure all the maintenance was up to date, etc. it has a new battery less than a year old, new tires, etc. eventually it stalled and shut off on its own while stopped and would not turn back on. every time i try to turn it back on, it stalls and shuts off but the shifter lights blink repeatedly. i have a code that appeared on a mechanic's code reader which was u1504. he could not diagnose it. chrysler would not look at it and wanted $125 just to do diagnostics. i just wanted to know if this was one of the recalled issues as i know they have been having engine and transmission issues.
The car stalled at a stop sign and stalled again 3 times after that. it read shift to p to start i did that and it would not let me change gear after that. i know this is a common problem with the chrysler 200 so it should be a recall. this is a huge safety issue it happened while driving in a roundabout and people could have rear ended me.
It all started when i put in on drive and it told me to put it on park and i did and it started to fail it?s keeps turning off and on running and all the lights turn off it was late at night when it shut off and my wife had my car with my kids on the freeway it could of been worse
First thing, the tire pressure is always showing uneven pressure. the man issues with this car is that it cuts off while you're driving. it doesn't matter what speed you're going. it just shuts off. recently, it didn't want to start back up.
My mecanic checked my card connected to a computer and told me i have a recall for my vehicle the code that came up was p1720-00but unfortunately when i try to type in my vehicle vin number it does not show up as any recalls but i'm having difficulties with my car because my mechanic told me on the computer it showing it has a code which we googled and it is a record to this vehicle
The car jercks often. and makes a wired noise and the mileage light blikks on and off non stop. airbag light is on

Transmission issues for almost a year. i have explained them to the dealership who refuses to document. i purchased this car new the summer of 2015. it had sealants misssing from the manufacture and so it had a leak that resulted in the dealership having my car for 2 months and me having to force them to replace my carpeting they let sit in the sun for 2 weeks and mold and to replace parts in my car that they broke the clips on trying to find the leak. several times they called me to come and get my car with mold in it and parts still hanging. i had to get managers involved. i came to get an oil change once and they sent me out onto the street without tightening the lugs and i was wobbling down the street and they lied and said the pressure was off balance. once my car shut off with no oil it. they said it's likely the engine. my tire pressure has been saying its low since about a week after purchasing the car. soon as i put air in, less than 24 hours its low. the windshield wipers have always sounded extremely loud. i had a thermometer go out before 3 yrs old. i barely have 30,000 miles on my car right now. now my car wouldn't stay on when i tried to take it out of park in my driveway thurs. it stalled for a second to start up then it wouldn't come back on. i tried several times until it cranked up like normal, but then it refused to switch gears saying check transmission and park sense and to put back in park then shift gears. after that i had to have my battery charged to crank. the next day i had to get a boost. my battery and alternator tested good, but the check engine light is now on mentioning a throttle sensor and watchdog performance. dealership claims my battery is bad. i again told them my transmission wasn't sensing correcrtly and switching gears cuts my car off sometimes. the technician says i need to pay $428 to have them replace my "bad" battery first.
Car stops while driving it. very dangerous. happened twice with this vehicle almost causing an accident which could have been fatal. engine stopped while car was going 45 mph in heavy traffic. having it towed to a chrysler dealer on the 10th of september is as soon as someone can look at it. this car only has 55,000 miles on it and should not be happening. car has been well maintained and is still being financed.
After driving the car 30 minutes or more and i turn it off, it will not restart for another 30 minutes or more. it had left me stranded as well as caused me to be late for work jeapordizing my job and my safety. the car has been to 2 different dealers and they cannot find anything wrong. i cannot trade it in because the blue book value is less than what i owe. i feel that chrysler should compensate me for this vehicle by buying it back at the price i paid. sometimes the dash says 'engine warming up, please wait.'
The car stalls and also accerlates when it shouldnt which could cause a crash. i know at least 8 other people besides myself who has recently had the same issue of their car stalling and now their air and my air is not working. in this tx heat this is unacceptable especially when i have to travel with my children. in my instance i was driving my car on the city street. it was working fine then all of a sudden it stalled acted as if it didnt want to move out of nowhere we could have been hit. i pulled over turned off the car for awhile observed the car to see if i could see anything visably wrong. i then tried my car again and like that it was working as normal except my air was no longer working as it was just before
2015 chrysler 200 limited when accelerating from park the car is reving to 3rd and 4th but going slowly getting stuck between those two gears then jerking and giving dragging affect after. while on the highway or street car drags after stopping and then accelerating. var feels as if it is fishtailing and the wheels are getting stuck for a mibute before it jerks back into place. air bag sensor goes on and off from time to time. when it comes on it will sometimes stay on for days sometimes weeks at a time. oil changes have been done regularly. juat started happening on 6/19/2019. car seems to pull and vibrate even harder when the a/c unit is on. car also has a hard vibrating noise under hood. miles:93,800 transmission is under warranty until 100,000 miles no check engine light has came on as of yet.
My transmission is telling me 'performance shifting unavailable' shifting gears on own
5/30/19 i purchased my car from gage auto sales in oregon. on 06/01/19 i was left stranded on the side of the road because it would not start. i had to have the car towed to the dealership. on 6/2 dealership said there were no starting issues and no codes and i could pick up the car. starting issues progressively got worse. leaving me stranded many times. check engine light came on 6/23/19. 6/24/19 took car back to the dealership which they had until 07/12/19 stating is was the key fob and push start button. one week it ran fine then rapidly began to not start, check engine lights came on along with transmission lights. the car has been a lemon since day one. the dealership has sent me to a third party mechanic and are telling me the transmission is not covered under my extended warranty. this car had these problems the day after i bought it. it was defective when i purchased it and no one at gage auto sales will help me. i am 23 years old trying to make it on my own and there is no way i can pay 1500 to re-program the transmission. please help me!
While driving down the street, the car stalled. this has happened 3 times within the last 5 days. it is unknown as to why this is happening, but the car stalling while driving in the flow of traffic, is a safety risk. during this time, the car would not shift into neutral, and after pressing the start button again, the car starter was continually trying to turn over and start, but didn't. after getting assistance, the car was finally pushed out of the middle of the street from it's stalled position. after getting pushed to a parked position, it finally started, but i didn't want to take the chance of it stalling again, since this has happened three times now.
While i am driving my car as i'm coming to a stop it will start shaking and shut off as i'm driving. i have to start to push it 2-3 times before it cuts back on. it does it about 2-4 times a day. the battery light will start flashing when it cuts off, but auto zone has tested the battery and alternator and they both passed the test. it's been happening for a month now where it will just shut off as im driving sometimes without any of the shaking it will just shut off as i'm driving. *tr
Check engine light came on, using code p03 misfire on cylinder one; replaced cylinder one and spark plug still coming on and battery flunctuating. shop stayed it's an electrical issue not the cylinder itself . battery jumps up and down when in idle and hesitates to start. do not feel safe taking it anywhereb
2015 chrysler 200s transmission failures. numerous times the gear would slip from drive to neutral while at stoplights. the dashboard would instruct me to shift into park the choose desired gear. that's if i'm lucky and the shift knob doesn't lock, preventing me from shifting into park or any other. numerous times it has disengaged from drive to neutral while driving on the highway at speeds ranging from 55 mph to 70 mph. having find a way to the shoulder with no power while activating the hazard lights has proven quite disturbing to maneuver through traffic. several times it has slipped out of drive while going through intersections leaving me disabled in the middle of busy roads at the mercy of oncoming traffic, hoping they brake in time. it has nearly been the cause of several wrecks having loss of power, steering wheel becomes hard to turn and i've nowhere to turn off of road for lack of shoulder or curbs creating obstacles. regardless of where it occurs , if the shift knob is locked, the car is not budging. it is locked in the transmission preventing any way of pushing it. i can't drive my son anywhere for fear it could result in something i'd rather not think of.
My car wouldn't start when you hold down the breaks and the start button and it has when it rains or after it rains but i change the battery and the key fob battery not that long ago and i'm confused on what's happening.

My car has always acted like it wants to quit when coming to a stop or taking off. i'm on my third battery since purchase. the last battery was replaced one month ago. now last week a car cut me off at a light. when i slammed on my brakes my car quit making me miss the light! when trying to restart it really doesn't make any sounds and then it just starts! then again yesterday i was coming to a red light i was almost completely stopped when the light turned green i went to go but my car quit again at a green light ! i could've been rear ended! again i put it in park to restart and it doesn't make any starting noises but eventually starts! when driving it's fine but when stopping and taking off it acts like it wants to quit and now it's quit on me twice in one week!
Hi i was driving my kids to school doing 55 mph all of a sudden car engine turns off and i have power steering stays on.coasted into the ditch thank god and car keeps telling me to put car in park to start.i put the car in park and hit button and it starts right up like nothing was wrong.we get back on the road about half a mile and it shuts off again.so in a spand of 15 min car shut down 7 times all the same thing engine shuts off.dam thing almost killed me and my kids so mad that something like this happens and nobody seems to know why.would like to know what can and should be done about this issue.car stuck in my driveway because i am afraid i might kill some innocent person on the road or walking because of this issue with car shutting down at such high speeds thank you
We were driving down the road and there were no cars or anything around to cause what happened. we heard a loud bang or explosion like a gun going off and it hurt my ears and made them ring. it like stunned us almost like when you wreck a car feeling. i checked myself for blood and asked the others in my car were they ok.we pulled over to check and my sunroof had exploded. what's left up there was push outward like the car had pressure in it and that's how it released it. i need the company to fix it but they won't .we called the headquarters as soon as we got to the house and took the car to the dealer as the requested the very next day and they will not fix it and its their fault for using whatever glass they used or maybe the body of the car twist to much. its their build and o their fault. i didn't make this car or do anything to it. *dt*jb
Takata recall. my airbag light sensor on the dash of my vehicle lit up along with the seatbelt light while i was driving by myself with the seatbelt on correctly and nothing sitting in any of the passenger seats. the dash displays a message of "service airbag system". when coming to a stop, the dash displays"driver seatbelt unbuckled" while my seatbelt is buckled. i have checked the vehicle for recalls and none are currently listed with the nhtsa or the dealership under my particular vin. i have had the vehicle diagnosed at a chrysler dealership/service center and was notified that the orc ("occupant restraint controller") was non responsive. they (chrysler service center employee) informed me that i was responsible for the care and maintenance of the safety device that is defective in my vehicle. while sitting in park with the vehicle motor running in a parking lot there were three loud pops in my vehicle and a smelly smoky substance throughout the vehicle. i did not see any air bags visibly deploy.
I notified the dodge recall center a month ago about an issue with electrical problems and engine stalls as well as problem codes. this affected driving and prevented registration per smog check. i was making a alright turn on el dorado and cleveland street last thursday, 3/21/2019 and the car locked up or cut off and slid into a guard rail and curb damaging the driver side of the body and was unforgivable. it is being investigated now but the fca investigator informed me that he would not be able to inspect the vehicle until i signed and returned the attached document. upon calling a month ago i performed a vin search and realized that there were a few electrical recall incidents performed on my vehicle previously which were never disclosed with me. as a matter of fact the dealer edited the documents to show a clean history when printing my paperwork when i purchased the vehicle. i am totally confused as to what my rights are and how do i go about getting my vehicle repaired or compensated. please let me know if you need any further documentation.

While excellerating the car will hesitate. sometimes this causes the car to jerk very hard, other times the car acts like its stuck in between gears i have almost been hit a few times because of this. when i am stopped and go to take off it will almost stop and them jump forward real fast. other times it just jerks a few times and takes off. when i first bought my car it shifted into neutral on it's own a few times. this stopped once an update was done. my check engine light used to come on and go off. now it stays on. we have taken it to advance auto and the scan tool will not read any codes. the radio, touch screen and steering wheel controls will randomly stop working. i had an alert pop up saying the engine temp hot and service electronic throttle control. the car has been nothing but a headache. my basic warranty has expired. i don't know what to do.
Went to start the vehicle and it acted like it didn't want to start but did. there were multiple warnings that popped up on the dash and in the messages. the car had a loss of power and wouldn't go into any gear. after letting it idle for 15 minutes it did finally go into gear.
On saturday 29/9/2019 i was getting ready to go to work from fremont, ca to san jose, ca and my car wouldn't start. i had to press the push start several times to get it to start,. once it did start when i turned on the defroster it started shaking and turned off. i had to let it idle more than 15 minutes before it warmed up. i made it around the block about a quarter mile before i came to a stop sign and the car shut off. i managed to turn it back on and pull over. it continued to stall until i got back home. since then it's been shaking when on idle and it jerks between gears. while on the 880 freeway the car will decelerate during peak traffic hours causing me to have to pull over to the slow lanes to avoid getting rear ended. i'm taking to the dealership for diagnostics.
The car dies in the middle of the road while driving. the engine stops, all the lights on the dash go out and there is no power steering or brakes. after about 5 minutes the car was able to start again.
I have had my the car completely cut of several times without warning. recently as i was backing out of the drive way the car turned off while in motion and all lights went out. after about 5 minutes the car was able to start and i moved it back into the driveway. it is like it lost all power because the clock was no longer set to the correct time. that was on monday 1/28/2019. today as approaching a stop sign the same thing happened again. without warning and no lights on the dash board. i have noticed that other cars within the same year have been recalled for similar issues but i have not received any notification. i would like my car looked at free of charge as this is a potentially dangerous situation. if i am in heavy traffic and the car just decides to turn off while in motion i can be seriously injured or killed. this is also not the first time i have filled this form out..

Vehcile has several error lights that come and go. i cannot get chrysler dealers in brevard, florida to do warranty work. everyone is in danger as the car is no longer safe. i have begged for tow ins, rentals and warranty diagnoses. i have begged for chrysler to send a trained rep from out of town to investigate. this has gone on for years, now the below dealerships owns both the dealers in my region and refuse to do work to diagnoe per warranty at either. i had a free oil change package from chrysler from a previous service related complaint. the dealer scheduled an appointment, i gave them all my info. i also ordered an expensive part to have installed, which is nonreturnable. i paid for and picked up part. checked my car in. then ross and craig, also ed o'donnell i was told were all texted by ross and upon checking in vehicle was told "sorry we will not service your vehicle or install your part. this has been an ongoing issue and i was also told by ed o'donnell on a previous complaint that i was welcomed to return. did i mention the package expired shortly there after. also shortly there after leaving the work they did previously, the symptoms now re present themselves. ironically. also, it was admitted by phone that they had backmoffice discussions with another dealer in the area gator chrysler. i am now stuck with a part they will not install or refund. they will not change my oil or rotate tires. they will not fessmup to the vandalism of my vehicle that occurred on their lot in 2018. they have destroyed my car and now all kinds of engine lights come on to discredit me. head the warning, the below dealer is in question :: boniface-hiers chrysler dodge jeep ram 1775 e merritt causeway merritt island, fl 32952 driving directions sales 1-321-452-8181 service 1-321-452-8181 parts 1-321-452-8181

Intermittent power failures in motion city street
My car is stalling out after take off, and hessitates to get started again. its been doing it since 1-6-18 and today is 1-8-18. it has a new battery that i put in it.
I've had to have the thermostat replaced twice within the time i've owned this vehicle. once under warranty at low mileage once at 58,600 miles i've never had issues with replacing the thermostat in this short frequency of time. i'm having to pay over $400 to replace a thermostat which was already replace by chrysler. an investigation into faulty chrysler parts needs to be opened and a recall issued.
