Sometimes my car turns off out of no where while im turning. says something about airbags on the screen and than turns off. when im at a red light the car wants to turn off. when im done putting gas and i turn it back on it takes a while to turn back on. it has been doing it before and it had stopped for a while but its starting again. almost caused me to get hit when it turned off while i was turning after a stop sign and about to go on the highway it turns on after i keep trying and says to open the drivers window after i turn it on from it turning off.

The radio freezes up while i am driving. none of the radio buttons function. i cannot turn the radio off, change channel, adjust volume, etc. i just had the special coverage repair done for the water intrusion on the side detection system. the radio worked perfectly fine before the special coverage work was performed. i went back to the dealer and they indicated that it is not related to the water intrusion and it would be $120 just to connect the computer to the car. he told me if it is the radio, you will have to pay for it out of pocket. i saw a new special coverage bulletin about the negative battery cable clamp not being able to remain tight to the battery terminal on the internet. i need to know if it applies to my 2014 chevy cruze because i did not receive any information by mail on this. thank you .
While attempting to start my vehicle it will not turn over. then the check engine light flashes on and off. the display then reads service theft deterrent system. service tire monitoring and will then completely lock up. this has happened to me roughly 4 times in the last few months. the only way to get the car to start is with a jump. the battery, starter and alternator are all good and are not causing the issue.
Turbo charger very unreliable. goes out easily. several complaints in chevy cruze forums of their turbo chargers going out.
The turbo charger is known for going out. this can cause loss of power- even on highways. my turbo lost power on the highway, causing my speed to drop down to 50 mph. i am in a lot of chevy cruze forums and this is the main complaint. your speed can be normal and then all of a sudden just drop down to barely anything. this could cause someone to rear-end you.
Had started noticing that when i would start my car my radio would sometimes take a long time to come on. eventually woke up one day to start my car and it would not start. this should not be happening because the battery is not even a year old. used my portable jumper to charger and took it to get read and it was not the battery. i was told that there was an electrical drain that was still charging my battery even after it was turned off. the second issue is when i am driving and go to give the car gas and the car would not immediately accelerate causing to me to almost be hit twice. i had to give it gas a second time in order for it to accelerate

Nhtsa is number 11193552 i have the same problem as this customer to the t. the cars radio will shut off while driving after i take they key out while parked the key fob will not lock the car and then if put into the ingishon it will eat the key and lock up . this is a common problem that needs to be looked into there shouldn't be a youtube video with 50k views on how to get your car key out of the ingishon after the elitrical problems. please fully read nhtsa number 11193552 report as it is the most detailed and reliable source of info for this problem . it happens more often then once so the date when this happend will be the latest accornce of this.
Nhtsa is number 11192482 same problem as this customer raido shuts off while driving then key fob will not lock the car after pulling the key out after this happens nothing will lock or turn on.put the key in and it will lock up the key in the ingishon and not even get into the on position ( iv made corrections to the nhtsa number )
I had the car for almost 4 years and some warranty has expired. now i'm experiencing lots of problems. first it was coolant leak, radiator, water pump, thermostat and now the head gasket are out called dealership & gm and they say the can't do nothing about it. currently still paying for a for the car and have not received no help for either parties mention above. i will like to know if this car is in the lemon law or if someone can help me. thank you
I have a 2014 chevy cruze ls, 115,000 miles and properly maintenanced. after hitting 100,000 miles the vehicle seems to be completely falling apart. recently had to replace the oil cooling system due to it being cracked. after that was fixed my check engine light came on. come to find out the entire intake manifold now needs to be replaced. after that issue is resolved, my steering wheel is now sticking dead center with a lack of movement with turning.
Driving thru mountains up hill and a snap sound and no power just a lot of racketing the car had no power no gear connection nothing just reved.. sounded like right front axle snapped
When driving my car never ends up heating up, this makes me choose between being able to see or being able to be warm. this is a major problem living in wisconsin and i am not able to heat my car up in the winter. the only way that a little heat will come out is if i've already drove 5+ miles and i keep my car above 3500 rpms. this is not acceptable and makes it a major safety hazard to drive in the winter. it will do this when stationary, in motion and whenever. this car does not heat up.
Codes p0411 & p2440 detected after diagnostics, pump supplies catalytic converter for purpose of reducing harmful emissions. both converters were replaced under warranty this year. why is a.i.r. not covered if it is related to the converters? engine light on .
I started having issue last year with the engine. i called chevy and was advised my warranty expired 12 day's before my complaint. after doing some research i learned that multiple consumer's across the country are having the same issues with the heating system and engine. i feel my car should have been recalled. the vehicle will just shut off mid traffic without warning. i have invested more than 1000 dollars and it's still having issues.
Vehicle is experiencing severe issues with the power when vehicle is in motion. on several occasions i have been driving down the road and the vehicle will all of a sudden, without warning shut down multiple essential components - including power steering, headlights, radio will go in and out, display screen will go off, turn signals, etc. pretty much anything that takes power will fail. however the vehicle will still remain on (and not in aux mode) and acceleration will not be affected. around the time that these issues began a warning light for stabilitrack came on the dash board and several more warning lights have come on since. this has occurred when vehicle has been on city streets and freeway including as i have been negating a turn. this has caused an extreme safety hazard as i have almost lost control of vehicle and run off the road or hit other vehicles head on during the failure.

Heat wont work in cold weather. looked up and seen tons of the same year and make with a recall for heat block. also front end axel sounds like it wants to snap. i contacted chevy they were no help. its our only car right now and we have a child. not safe as far as im concerned.

Trunk keeps releasing and opening on its own every couple of hours setting the alarm off.
The vehicle's radio flashes on and off and a 'service stabilitrak' warning comes on the odometer screen. i have read this causes serious issues with others that have had the same problem and there is no known fix.
Radio or touch panel restarted then vehicle began shaking and making vibration noises enigine noises error light began flashing and stability track was on the driver information center about a mile further down the road everything cleared up to include the flashing engine light. now it is on again and doesnt clear up cannot drive it. recently have replaced at my expense the pcv cover and pcv twice, the entire ac delco intake due to massive oil consumpotion the crank seal due to squealing the coil pack and plugs due to a cracked insulator and electrolisis on the contacts. i now have 114,000 miles on it and read there is a recall on the battery grounding system that causes this current system and covers up to 120,000 miles? i searched and it has 0 recalls on this vehicle.
My car has recently started to have the radio to turn on and off randomly. sometimes more so when i push my brakes. also occasionally get a service stabilltrak warning that flashes and goes away. from what i can read online, others have this problem with no solution. some situations have gotten bad and i want to avoid that at all costs and get this fixed, or figure out if i have to trade it in and get a new vehicle.
For the past year i've been dealing with my car overheating. the screen will display ac off due to high engine temperature, from then the screen will go to engine overheated idle engine, every time i drive these signals come on, if i stop at a stop sign or red light cold air automatically stars to kick out. i've taken it to three different chevy dealerships along with two other repair shops, i've had a new water pump, new thermostat, timing house sensor changed and radiator flush done over the course of a year in a half and still to this day no one can seem to fix it.
Vehicle has been popping up service stabil trak - however dealership and onstar has ran diagnostics no codes populate- have experience radio shutting off and losing control of vehicle - there has been several articles about this issue with 2011-2015 chevy cruze. afraid whatever this issue is will cause harm to other people this is not a single person issue everyone with this model is complaining about the service stabil trak this needs to be look into. driving in motion turning corner losing control of steering for a brief second - power radios shutting off and dashboard blinks with all lights. this car is at 67k miles
The sunroof glass spontaneously exploded while driving. glass rained down on me while i was driving on the highway. the explosive sound almost made me lose control of the vehicle. chevrolet has a recall on the 2014 cruze for the sunroof glass. the recall says the glass that was installed is supposedly too thin and may fail. the dealer says that my vin is not part of the recall. i believe that the sunroof glass recall needs to be expanded because my glass failed in a similar manner to those under the recall. the failed glass was bowed upward indicating that it was an internal failure not a rock hitting it.
When the air is on there is part of the engine that squeaks/whistles. it concerns me with driving. i have taken it to several dealerships and they can not find anything wrong with it. it is very annoying and would love to know what is wrong with my brand new car!

My vehicle was totaled in an accident in which the drivers airbag did not deploy. due to the fact that my son (the driver) who recently returned from the military was not in my insurance policy they refuse coverage. 2 weeks after the incident i received a letter from chevrolet informing me about a recall on my vehicle pertaining to the reason of the accident.i filed a claim with chevrolet , filed a claim with gm motors. till this day i have called and left messages and they won't respond to my calls.
Service engine light flashed with messages to service both stabilitrak and traction control. later that same day noticed jerking of engine so strong it shook the car while idling and constant loud squeeling noise. also noticed the vehicle lags on acceleration/take off after idling. this happened at approx 29,500 miles.
While driving on city streets the acceleration declines and almost stops. when trying to regain speed after a complete stop the car lunges forward then stops,, the rpm goes crazy,the red zone when entering the freeway i have very little power and have experienced hesitation. when i reach freeway speed i may sense a decline in speed but this doesn't happen all the time. the chevrolet garage is unable to duplicate the problem or identify the cause, no light alerts.
My car loses acceleration when driving. it almost stops in the middle of the street. i am trying to go but when i put my foot on the gas it doesn't go. i hear something underneath when i try to put my put on the gas.
I've only has the car a little over a year. my check engine light came on last month. i went to have it checked and i was told it was the catalytic converter. i also had a secund opinion fine and was told the same. there is no reason why the catalytic converter should need to be replaced so soon. i gave been checking for recalls and haven't found anything yet.

I currently own a 2014 chevrolet cruze ls that i have owned for a year with 59,000 miles. in this vehicle i have been experiencing power loss while accelerating on interstate, transmission disengages and reengages and jerks very hard while trying to accelerate. it will not accelerate more than 45 mph on interstate. it will then operate normally after about 5-10 miles after transmission disengages and reengages. also has no power or acceleration while a/c is on.
