Towing the Vehicle
To tow the vehicle behind another vehicle for recreational purposes, such as behind a motor home, see Recreational Vehicle Towing 0 294.
Recreational Vehicle Towing
GM recommends a flatbed tow truck to transport a disabled vehicle. Use ramps to help reduce approach angles, if necessary.
A towed vehicle should have its drive wheels off the ground. Contact Roadside Assistance or a professional towing service if the disabled vehicle must be towed.
For Camaro High Performance models, see the Camaro High Performance supplement.
The vehicle is equipped with specific attachment points to be used by the towing provider. These holes may be used to pull the vehicle from a flat road surface onto the flatbed tow truck.
The vehicle was neither designed nor intended to be towed with any of its wheels on the ground. If the vehicle must be towed, see Towing the Vehicle 0 293.
