My 2005 chrysler pacifica doesn't go when i release the brake to drive it. it hesitates and then moves. i took it to the dealership and they notified me that 2 of my motor mounts were cracked and that's what was causing it. i tried to get the parts and apparently 250 of them are on backorder. we have called every dealership in san antonio and surrounding cities and no dealer has them, many have told us that they are on back order and they don't have a date of when they are to be shipped, (could be months), none of this of course was covered under the extended warranty that we have. my problem is that this vehicle isn't that old and has 68000 miles on it, i am shocked that the motor mounts are already cracked and need to be replaced. if 250 of them are on back order, doesn't that say something about this vehicle and the mounts. it is expensive to replace, labor costing $500, and we can't even get the parts because no one has them. i feel this is a safety issue because the car at times hesitates to go once i release the brake and apply the gas. i am concerned that other owners are feeling the same way i do, cheated. please respond. *tr

2005 chrysler pacifica with 82,144 miles; broken motor mounts with failure of both front axles and tie rod ends. *tr

I have a 2005 chrysler pacifica with 38,000 miles on it. i have been hearing a noise as i accelerate the vehicle. also the abs light has been coming on. i hear a loud grinding noise. i took it to the dealership. and they are telling me the motor mounts are bad. the mileage on this car is too low to be having motor mount issues. this is predetemination of the motor mounts. they tell me my warranty does not cover this. they said it is a wear and tear item. this is not right chrysler needs to recall this item. the dealer says the part is not available. it has been on back order since december 08. this is a big problem. i am having to drive this car with bad motor mounts. chrysler needs to take care of this issue. *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2005 chrysler pacifica. the contact took the vehicle to the dealer for service and was informed that the front motor mount needed to be replaced. the dealer stated that the part was on back order. the manufacturer confirmed and stated that they could call her when it becomes available. the failure mileage was 53,000 and current mileage was 56,000.

Clicking noise coming from the engine on deceleration and acceleration. and the throttle sticks occasionally. we had it looked at by mechanic, and the motor mount is cracked and rotting, we attempted to order a motor mount, the chrysler dealer said they have 173 requests for motor mount in lake havasu city, az and none are available anywhere. there is a 6 month wait before they can get any. *tr

Broken motor mounts on my 05 chrysler pacifica,in reading the chrysler forum, this is a major common problem and a dangerous condition and the replacement parts have been on back order for "months" this has been recurring on all pacifica's since 04.and the cost for parts and labor is over $500.00. this problem should be a major recall. my understanding that the mounts only last about 15000 miles. *tr

On my 2005 chrysler pacifica, the motor mounts seem to be substandard and require replacement at a higher interval than normal. while this may not seem like a huge issue initially, a failed motor mount is a reason to reject a vehicle inspection in the state of va. shortly after purchasing the car used 2 years ago, i needed to replace a failed motor mount, now, 2 years later and with the car having less than 65,000 miles i am having to replace a motor mount again. the real issue now seems to be that chrysler as a whole is out of stock as there is a national backorder in effect at the moment. the fact that this part is on a national backorder makes me feel as if they are being replaced by many other pacifica owners. research online has shown that the motor mounts fail on the pacifica approximately every 30,000 miles. *tr

Massive vapors started to emit from my 2005 chrysler pacifica engine. had to get the car towed to dealership in forest park, il. was advised that engine mounts broke and needs to be replaced. because of engine mount breakage, the engine can fall down. in my case, it cause various connections and fluid pipes to break and/or be disconnected. i now have waited for three months for replacement parts, but chrysler has none "due to backorder". i have browsed many blogs and there are hundreds of people in different blogs complaining about same issue. chrysler should have recalled the part, but has not done so. please help with causing chrysler to recall this faulty part and with getting chrysler to provide replacement parts! *tr

I have a 2005 chrysler pacifica, was having problems with my car the dealer told me it was the motor mounts and had it repair that cost me $500. then after less than a year i had the same problems again, then to only find out that the motor mount that was place on my car was faulty from the factory and that the product is on back order. i am sitting here now with a car with bad motor mount and waiting for the product that i might never get. was told it was on a nationwide back order of 2500 plus vehicles. this many people are having the same problem i am having and no recall. i find that careless. just because the chrysler dealership is having financial problems doesn't make it right to put the customer safety at risk. i cant take my car on long trips due to being scared it will break down on me while my baby is in the car. *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2005 chrysler pacifica. while driving less than 5 mph and making right and left turns, the vehicle stalled. the contact was able to restart the vehicle and drive normally without stalling. the failure previously occurred at least once a month and has begun stalling at least once a day. the dealer confirmed that there were no related recalls and no warranty available. the failure mileage was unknown and the current mileage was 100,000.

Rear motor mounts seem to be a big issue for chrysler pacificas. i have a 2005 touring and was told 6 months ago that i would need to replace mine. at that time, they were on national back order of over 1,900!! i'm sure that number has risen greatly since january '09. if that many rear motor mounts are on back order, it would stand to reason that this is a real problem with this part. why would chrysler not cover replacing this part under warranty?! it's bad enough that we have to wait an indefinite amount of time to receive the replacement part. how safe is this car to drive with the engine moving around so much?! i've heard and read differing opinions on the safety issue. if it is indeed a danger to drive a car in this condition, what are we supposed to do for transportation?! chrysler needs to take an extensive look into this and many other issues that pacifica owners have had to deal with. i, myself, have spent a lot of time at the local dealership getting defective parts replaced. unfortunately, there have been parts that weren't covered under warranty which i read about as being a common problem. i've even read that the pacifica may qualify for the lemon law with so many common problems. *tr

This has happened three times now (today being most recent). chrysler pacifica's engine completely shuts off when taking a left or cutting across traffic to left going at a slow speed. this is extremely dangerous and we have a toddler who we are concerned when we drive in the car. dealer has run reports and checked car out twice and found nothing. no codes pull up despite the fact the engine light comes on and the system dash says "perform service." *tr

The rear motor on my 2005 chrysler pacifica has failed by busting under torque load. this is a defective condition for this part as it is fluid filled and continually allows damaging conditions to develop to the engine if not repaired. chrysler is aware of the problem as many owner have this problem and have contacted chrysler about it. they continued to do nothing. the part is on national backorder as of now with 1900+ outstanding. i cannot correct the problem obviously until the dealers take shipment of the part. google this problem and you will see it is a real problem for chrysler owners. owners are even considering a class action lawsuit. chrysler should issue a recall for this part at a minimum. *tr

High level of failure of motor mounts in chrysler pacifica. unable to get replacement parts due to 1000's being on back order. started trying to locate and purchase motor mounts in 11/08. paid for the replacement motor mounts at a chrysler dealership in 1/09 and as of 6/09/09 motor mounts are still unavailable. i don't know what the safety ramifications are, other than if the mounts were to fail completely while driving down the highway 65 miles per hours in traffic... while i first became aware of the motor mount issue around 11/08, the motor mounts apparently were damaged before then. *tr

My 2005 pacifica stalls when making left turns. it has stalled on two other occasions while simply sitting at a stop light. bit it has stalled repeatedly when i turn left into my company parking garage. i have nearly been hit by the unexpected stop in the driveway area. *tr

Over the past 5 months, my 2005 pacifica has stalled. on 4 or 5 occasions. the last event occurred on the 26th on i81 going 70mph. they have cleaned the gas pedal, replaced the battery, replaced the onboard computer, but cannot duplicate the problem. i don't want to drive it again. *tr

I was exiting off the freeway and came to a stop. as i accelerated out of the stop a gush of hot radiator fluid came shooting out of an area right above the gas peddle and burned my right ankle. i sustained second degree burns and was treated at my local doctor's office. *tr

2005 chrysler pacifica, started having problems at 50,000 miles. abs sensors had to be replaced and recall for fuel module...but most upsetting the car stalls at low speeds or while making turns..ie: pulling into parking spaces,etc.. i have brought it to dealership and like many others without engine light on they cannot duplicate problem, therefore we are sent on our way with no fix!! i have 4 children and i am terrified to drive this car!! why wont chrysler stand behind these vehicles!!!*tr

Engine seized with no warning. all maintenance was maintained but somehow the engine was starved for oil. engine only has 52,000 mi. chrysler won't offer any assistance and were horrible to deal with. new engine will cost $8,000 used $5,000. i've only had the car for 2 yrs. *tr

I began having a problem about 2 months ago with my abs light coming on. it would come on and turn off randomly. recently the light came on permanently and my brakes began grinding. we took it to the dealer and were told that the abs sensor is bad. not only that, but the motor mounts cracked and must be replaced. my vehicle is only 3 years old, and has 47000 miles on it. after doing some research, i have found that both of these issues are a common problem on this make and model vehicle. the dealer that we purchased it from admitted that this is a problem, but i was not able to find any recall information regarding either problem. i feel that both problems are dangerous, since the brakes did not work properly in my situation. if cracked motor mounts are not taken care of, they could possibly cause additional damage to the engine components. i think that chrysler should be held responsible for fixing these problems at their cost. i've seen many other people complaining that even after they've "fixed" the problem, they continue to have the same problem. i think both of these items should be considered for recall. *tr

I brought my 2005 pacifica in for the engine light coming on to the dealership where i bought it (ancira). they cleared the memory and gave it back, it immediately came back on when i picked it up so i left it. they did some things to the engine to fix it. the engine began burning oil after ancira dealership serviced it for engine light problems. i brought it to boerne chrysler superstore because i did not appreciate how i was treated at the ancira dealership. the engine was replaced at the boerne chrysler superstore but now leaks oil. i would like chrysler to buy this vehicle back because it has done nothing but cause us problems. i am surprised i was not stranded for it burning oil. i have 2 small children and the thought of it possibly leaving us stranded is frustrating. we purchased a new vehicle with the expectation of not having these serious engine issues. the least chrysler could do is reimburse us the $100 copay because it is under the extended warranty now even though the engine problems were occurring under the beginning full coverage warranty. we have purchased two dodge trucks and this vehicle and all of them have had to be serviced before 40,000 miles. we have lost faith in chrysler/dodge and will no longer consider purchasing one. *tr

I purchased a 2005 chrysler pacifica in michigan in 2006 and imported into canada. the vehicle has 31,000 miles on it and the engine is burning oil rapidly. i noticed a noise coming from the engine and found the oil level to virtually not appear on the dipstick. the check oil light never came on. this could have led to the failure of my motor while i was driving. i have also had a cylinder misfire and spark plugs replaced due to this. *tr

We purchased our 2005 chrysler pacifica on june 24, 2005: 10 stalling episodes to date. 1st & 2nd stalling events occurred within 6 weeks of purchase; both involving slow-speed left-hand turns. car completely stalled - no ability to steer. once in park, pac able to start. took car back to dealer where, after 1 day's worth of investigation, technicians said they could not replicate problem & since no diagnostic codes appeared, there was nothing to fix. i googled "chrysler pacifica stalls" & found 100s of similar complaints for both 2004 & 2005 models. i printed examples & headed to dealer. after confronting technicians with the complaints they admitted they had seen several other pacs for the same stalling problem. in fact, technicians had replaced iac motor on other pacs they had serviced for stalling problem - same remedy suggested in googled complaints but not offered to me. dealership replaced iac motor for free. due to general concern about apparent dangerous nature of all pacs & outrage over deceptive service at dealer, i complained to chrysler corp. got a feeble corporate response about "my dissatisfaction with my service needs." chrysler never even mentioned stalling problem. iac fix seemed to work until 1.5 months ago when pac stalled again. i decided it was time to respond to the recall involving the pcm reprogramming & headed back to dealer. 3 weeks after pcm fix, car is stalling every time i slow down, whether turning or not. pac is currently at dealer. technicians refuse to deal with this as a mechanical problem with pac model - obviously given no direction from chrysler corp to do so. dealer says we are responsible for paying for anything they do to fix problem - totally absurd since nothing they have done to date has fixed problem. bottom line: pac models are experiencing systematic engine failures=totally unsafe cars. hope nhtsa investigates problem & forces chrysler to offer customers real solutions to potentially fatal flaw. *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2005 chrysler pacifica. while backing out of the driveway at 10 mph, the vehicle stalled. when in reverse, the vehicle goes forward. the engine warning light illuminates and the handling fails. the dealer stated that a minimum 4-hour diagnostic is needed to identify the failure. the failure mileage was 50,000 and current mileage was 99,500.

Loss of oil and cannot repair. motor was rebuilt and continues to lose oil. vehicle has been in shop since may 20,2007. my vehicle is still there and no one knows how to fix it. *jb

The engine light on the dashboard lit up one day. shortly thereafter, i experienced a very rough idle. it did not stall however, but continued to idle and run very roughly. upon examination, the dealers service department determined that the tsb #09-010-06 had described the issue and it's recommended fix was applied. that being to replace the valve spring retainer locks, combustion clean, and replace and test the map sensor. this tsb fix had the adverse effect of causing the engine to surge rather abruptly when starting cold, and applying light pressure on the accelerator. it's more noticeable when backing out of a parking space and having the wheel turned at the same time. it seems that having the steering wheel turned presents an additional load on the engine that the computer senses as a need for additional engine speed. this surging also happens when pulling forward into a parking space with the wheels sharply turned as well. three subsequent visits to the dealer yielded different answers without being able to fix it. on one visit, the service director, called to tell me that he had been in contact with chrysler engineers in michigan about the issue and would like to try a couple of things. namely to check the fuel pressure, adaptive memory, and map sensor. after a test drive he conceded that the problem remained, but not to the degree that i was complaining about. he offered no other alternative fixes, but said that he would remain in contact with the chrysler engineering website that issues tsb's etc. i guess that is supposed to satisfy me as he states that he has done everything he could. as this is unacceptable to me, i felt prompted to file a complaint on the website as i feel that the surging problem is a definite safety issue that needs to be addressed. my next step is the write chrysler directly per their warranty information booklet. *tr

Check engine light at approximately 40,000 miles. the check light has come on the vehicle indicating cylinder three misfired. i have taken vehicle to the shop the first time and had the coil replaced. the same light came on with the same warning. this time the spark plugs were replaced, the injections cleaned out, the throttle body cleaned out. i just got it back yesterday and i feel confident that i will have the same thing over the next few days. when this happens, the vehicle idles rough and the car has no power. this vehicle has been maintained higher than the standards call for in the manual. looks like chrysler is good for about 40,000 miles, then be prepared to spend some money. i plan to trade the vehicle for a toyota, though i had supported american made vehicles in the past, with a product like this, you can't afford to. the total cost thus far has been $600.00. it appears that chrsyler knows the problem exists because of the bulletins, yet they will not recall the car ,and do what is right for the consumers. people can't afford to pay for a vehicle and repair it at the same time with so few miles. the pacifica is a great riding car ,and i otherwise thoroughly enjoyed it. *ak

Tl*the contact owns a 2005 chrysler pacifica. while accelerating to 5 mph from the idle position, the vehicle completely shut off. the contact restarted the vehicle, but it began to hesitate. the check engine indicator light illuminated prior to the vehicle shutting off. the vehicle was driven home slowly and brought to a dealer the following week. the vehicle has been at the dealer for two weeks. the dealer stated that the vehicle had multiple failures, but no repairs had been made. the vehicle was still waiting to be repaired. the current mileage was 26,525 ,and failure mileage was 26,435. *ak

Tl*- the contact owns a 2005 chrysler pacifica, and stated that while driving out of a parking lot the vehicle seized, causing the contact to lose control, and running the vehicle into a small ditch. the contact took vehicle to the dealer, and they stated that they would not repair it until the insurance company investigated the cause of failure. the contact could not provide any additional information. the current and failure mileage were both 18,000. *ak

I am filing this complaint regarding my 2005 pacifica awd. in nov 06, the vehicle stalled couple of times in the middle of the highway and both times, we were very fortunate to avoid an accident. during the same time, we received a recall notice from chrysler for the same problem and promptly took it to the warnock east hanover (nj) dealer (same place where i purchased the vehicle) to fix it. they fixed the stalling recall issue and other minor issues and said that it's drivable now and assured me that it wouldn't happen again. unfortunately, while i was driving today, it stalled again and nearly averted an accident. it's really scary to drive the vehicle any more. the vehicle has only 6000 miles on it as it has been primarily used to drop my daughter in school. now, my wife does not want to drive it again as she is scared to death to drive it. i don't blame her as it has stalled three times so far and we cannot even imagine driving this vehicle again with such a humongous safety issue! right now, the vehicle was towed to the dealer and is sitting at the mercy of the dealership as i type this...*nm

Car stall out while turning. *nm

Multiple times my 2005 chrysler pacifica has stalled for no reason. i can be driving and the car just stalls. i have to put car back into park and turn key off, then i can restart the engine. i have taken it to the dealer twice, and still there seems to be "nothing" wrong with the car. *jb

11/18/06 - car stalled in parking lot in ocean city, md. was able to restart it 8 hrs. later. 11/19/06 - car stalled on chesapeake bay bridge (us 50) near end heading westward. was able to coast onto shoulder. car towed to dealer tate chrysler jeep, inc., glen burnie, md. 11/22/06 - received in mail daimler chrysler's safety recall f44 --fuel pump and or reprogram pcm stating that a problem could cause engine to stall and cause a crash without warning. i took the recall notice to the dealer. service manager said that was not the cause of the problem. he said half of the engine would have to be replaced. final cost --$4976 parts and labor. work was completed on 01/05/07. on 01/11/07, after about 300 miles of driving, engine stalled on baltimore-washington parkway (md295). i was again able to coast off onto the shoulder. car was towed back to tate chrysler, where it is now located. *jb

There is a significant popping and clicking sound when accelerating and stopping. also happens when moving the gear shift. car surges forward when popping sound happens. took to dealer and they said i had to live with it as it is a problem with the car they can not fix. so need to now what to do. also engine stalls. this has happened twice. the first time i was at a crawl in traffic, but at an incline onto a bridge. i had my foot on the brake and then put it on the gas petal to accelerate and the car died. lights and dash board are lit but car is shut off. car restarted with no problem. second time, i was parking in a spot that was again at an incline. i put the car in reverse, took my foot off the brake and stepped on the gas petal to begin driving in reverse, car died. both times i had approximately 3/4 of a tank of gas. also the shop don't want to give you a rental or loner car while the repairs are done. *jb

Dt*: the contact stated while slightly turning on to the ramp to enter to the highway at 5 mph during normal road conditions, the vehicle suddenly stalled and the engine completely shut down. there was no brake power nor power steering. prior to the incident, the vehicle identified no warning signals. it was taken to a dealership, where they determined that the contact was using gasoline that contained more than 10% ethanol. the dealership was unable to determine any other causes for the problem.

I own a chrysler pacifica 2005. i have had it for almost a year and it has stalled on me 4 times. the first time i was driving on the highway, when it shut off. the wheel locked, radio turned off everything. i had to quickly restart the car to avoid being hit by traffic behind me. the second time i was in a residential neighborhood and it shut while waiting at a red light. i didn't know it shut off until i hit the gas. the third and forth time it has shut off as well while driving in residential neighborhoods this happening this week. all of these times i have had children in the car. i have complained to chrysler and i was told that because there is no recall there is nothing that could be done to the vehicle. i was advised to take it in to the dealership so that they could look it over. the dealership said that because they can not recreate the problem, they could not fix anything. i explained to them that i it wasn't something i could re-produce. it is something that happens from time to time with no warning. again they told me as well there was nothing that could be done. *nm

Stall while vehicle moving. it happened multiple times while making left hand turns between april 06 and july 06. we had tsb fix 1803905 in aug. 06. no problems until october 17, 2006 when it stalled again while driving at slow speed in a straight line. now every time i drive in straight line or turn in front of cars i am very aware that my car may not be running. it is a very insecure feeling. \ thank you for your time with this matter. *nm

Chrysler pacifica stalled at a low speed while making a turn into a parking lot. took vehicle took dealership the same day and they could not diagnose a problem. *nm

Dt*: the contact stated while driving 30 mph, the vehicle stalled however it would restart. this occurred on two occasions. the vehicle was taken to the dealer who could not determine the problem. there was an open nhtsa investigation #ea06013 which pertained to engine, fuel system, power train and vehicle speed control.

Dt*: the contact stated while slowing down and turning left, the vehicle stalled without warning. the vehicle restarted with no delay. the dealership was unable to determine the problem.

we have a 2005 chrysler pacifica. that keeps cutting off. the first time it happen i thought well maybe it was something i did. the second time was when i was turning onto a 2 lane road come home late. the car just turned completely off. no warning at all. thankfully the car swerved and missed me and my kids. i then took it toallen samuel's alliance. i told them what was happening and also told them my left light keeps having a short in it. and at times cuts off. the dealer called me back and advised that the light had a defect to it and that for the engine failure it was due to my throttle needing to be cleaned. that was not covered under warranty and had to pay $300 to get that cleaned. i then was called back several hours later and was told that the throttle had been clean but it they test drove it and it seemed like something else was going on. they asked if i would let them keep it until the morning so that they can have there tech look at it again in the morning. i said okay although at this point it was going on the 4th day with out having a replacement vehicle. i was called the next day and was told it was the rear motor mount that need to be replaced. and that was covered however i need to pay my deductible. we went ahead and had them fix the problem . this was at the end of july. it is now september and my 2005 chrysler pacifica is in the shop again .because as i was driving it staled on me again... took it back to the shop and on my way there it staled again. all of sudden my 2005 chrysler pacifica stared making this loud noise when i would accelerated and or turn left........ when we got to the dealer they advise again that now another motor mount has broke... my car has been there a week. and i have not received a loaner car because the warranty company is saying that they will not replace it my 2005 chrysler only has 39,926 ....and the dealership is saying that they will help us out with payment plans the repair ...

1) i was driving on interstate and exited. shortly afterwards when driving slowly my car stalled and i lost all control, fortunately, did not have an accident. 2) car stalled when driving slowly, shortly after driving on highway. lost all control of vehicle. 3) restarted car and everything seemed okay. now this has happened on 2 separate occasions so i am taking it to the dealer tomorrow to see if they can identify source of problem as this could be very serious if it caused an accident. *nm

Engines stalls on rare occasions. generally this happens when driving within a parking lot. it has happened when stopping for a traffic light. *jb

'05 pacifica touring 3.5l stalls when in a slow speed decelerating left hand turn. vehicle starts again immediately.*jb

We purchased a used chrysler pacifica on 1/24/06 in savannah, ga w/approximately 20k miles on it. approximately 1 month later, it stalled while making a u-turn. took to the dealership and was told that it was perhaps a fluke because no message light came on to help determine the issue. it would occasionally feel like it was going to stall or rev itself but it went a few months with some abs wheel sensor issues but no stalling. since july 25th 2006 it has stalled or attempted to stall on numerous occasions. on thursday 8/10/06. it stalled 2 times and attempted to stall many more. the fuel gauge then dropped from @ 1/2 a tank to "e" and the message center said that the tank only had 32 miles to empty. i called the dealership and was told to bring it in asap. i fueled up and it only took 12 gallons to fill up. it was then dropped at the dealership. the dealership kept the car for 5 days and was unable to duplicate the failure. a few days later the same thing happened and the car went back again. the dealership told me to keep the car fueled above 1/2 tank and then bring it in on 8/21/06 with a 1/2 tank or less of fuel. i brought it in at a 1/2 on the mark. once more, the dealership was unable to duplicate the error. they believe they know what the issue is but can't fix it until they can get a computer read or or personally duplicate the error. i got the car back on wednesday 8/23/06 and again on the evening of fri, 8/25/06 the gas gauge plummeted to "e" with plenty of fuel in the tank and attempted to stall. today, 8/27/06 the car stalled twice, once in the middle of a right hand turn and once while making a left hand turn. if i gas up, i don't have a problem until there is less than a solid 1/2 tank of fuel in the car. i need this car and i am scared to death to drive it anywhere without more than a 1/2 tank. i asked to dealership to drain gas if need to be replicate the issue but they are apparently unable to do this. *jb

2005 chrysler pacifica stalled for the 4th time since lease purchase (august 2006). i drove ~25 miles to work and the car stalled while making a left turn into my work parking lot. the only warning light that came on was the oil light. after a minute of sitting, the car was able to be restarted. the dealership stated no fault registered on the car's computer, and tried to recreate the stall but were unable to. no repair was made. on 20 aug 2006 the same incident occurred: car stalled while making a left turn into work parking lot. same dealership had looked at car and made the following repairs: replaced idle air control and reprogrammed pcm. on two previous occasions (don't have the paperwork, but will request receipt copy) the car had stalled after driving home from work and picking up child from daycare, when making an attempt to exit subdivision (a left turn, which should have been followed by a right turn, but the car stalled before the right turn). i took the car to a different dealership at the time, but they found no fault on the computer and only attempted to recreate the stall. unable to do so, no repair was made.

Dt*: the contact stated while slowing to a stop, the engine seized and stalled without warning. the engine only stalled when the fuel tank was half full. afterwards, the engine was easily restarted. the vehicle was inspected by a dealer who was unable to duplicate the problem.

My 2005 chrysler pacifica fwd 3.6l 24 v. vehicle's gas gauge reads about 1/4 to 1/3 of a tank full, then suddenly drops to empty. with in a few miles of driving the vehicle after this happens the vehicle stalls out. the vehicle has also almost stalled out three other times and has stalled out 5 times now. the vehicle has been serviced twice once the bcm was reset and the second time the leveling units and sending units in the gas tank were replaced. the vehicle has had this occurrence again and the dealership has informed me they will contact me again this coming monday to resolve the issue, even though the service department informed me that my vehicle is fixed and this problem would not occur again. i have only owned the vehicle for 5 weeks, and it has stalled out 5 times and the gas gauge has suddenly dropped to empty more then five times now, the most recent happening today 8/6/06. *nm

Really was happy with my pacifica but now i am afraid to drive it! managed to get through the whole left turn and the car stalls. but now driving down a straight road the whole passenger side window collapsed into the door for not apparent reason. it was on the side my daughter was buckled into her car seat and needless to say scared her to death as rain was soaking her! *jb

Car stalled without warning. had just taken a turn to right. weather was hot and humid. car is 2005 chrysler pacifica. took to dealer next day, no error codes or other problem reported. *jb
