I was driving and my car lights and all the electronic stop working and turn off

This car been parked since mid may 2012 with 2 problems, cvvt & inlet hoses. i had the battery charged & the inlet hose fix, so it could go into the shop for inspection. aug.13 i put the plates on it & drove it for the 1st time at night to drop it off at the shop for inspection. which i had spoken with 2 days earlier.. the morning of aug 14, i call the shop and was informed my car had a fuel pump leak. i than call the volvo corp. cause it had issue a recall for the fuel pump. just to be told it wasn't on my car & i'm responsible for the repair.. this car gave no warning or smell of gas about a defected fuel pump. this wasn't around the corner drive for me. it a blessing cause this could've been bad...as a woman i like to know, how it went bad just sitting there?.. *tr
