Electrical issues. car won't lock and i have a safety warning stating electrical fault.
The vehicle is a 6-speed manual transmission. the vehicle will stall out when coming to a stop. not user error, since the stalling happens when the car is in neutral - coasting to a stop. stall out is very soft - akin to just shutting off the engine. this happens nearly every stop after running the car for about 15 minutes. this phenomenon is repeatable and extremely unsafe.
My car shuts itself off randomly. at stop lights, sitting in the driveway, in the car pick up line at school etc. i asked the dealer to look into this. at times it will tell me the car has to shut off to keep the battery from any damage. the dealer claims it's normal but there are a lot of people online complaining about this. i don't think it's normal.
Vehicle proximity sensors began to flash, despite being the only car in a freeway entry lane. there were no cars in front of me, or in back of me, but my vehicle's sensors began to flash and the car began to break as if preparing for a collision. car never stopped completely, since my foot was on the gas. sensors continued to flash on dashboard for a minute. i'm not sure of what causes this, perhaps the equipped vehicle software isn't clear of bugs, or sensors could have been manipulated via bluetooth connection.
I have the 2019 jetta sel premium that includes the beats audio system upgrade. the speakers rattle and sound blown starting at just below 50% volume. i am at the dealer and they are inspecting the issue. there are many complaints of this on public forums. it seems as if the stereo head unit is too powerful for the speakers or is improperly allocating power to the speakers instead of the subwoofer. it is definitely not right whatever the issue is. this occurs on fm radio, satellite radio or iphone apple music via carplay.
When grabbing things from inside the vehicle through an open window, pushing your body against the door with keys in a pocket may cost the vehicle to think that you are pushing on the door lock button and hence closing the windows when you are retrieving things inside and the windows take too long of a time to sense that something is blocking the windows and hurt whoever is retrieving items.
Ive had the car about two or three weeks. the key struggles to turn when in the ignition, even when i have my foot on the brake. sometimes it turns on just fine and sometimes the key absolutely refuses to turn when in the ignition switch. its as if im putting the wrong key in there but i only have one vw so this is for sure the right key. the car squeaks extremely loud. its a really loud screeching sound and it only happens when i reverse. both things only happen every one out of 10 times or so.
Tl* the contact owns a 2019 volkswagen jetta. the contact stated that the vehicle randomly stalled without warning. cook volkswagen (2110 belair rd, fallston, md 21047, (410) 401-8684) and the manufacturer were contacted and indicated that this was a known issue, but there was no remedy. the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. the manufacturer was to buy back the vehicle. the approximate failure mileage was 100.
The infotainment system displays a message saying 'operating outside of normal operating temperature' when the heater is running, and shuts off disabling any functionality. including back up camera, which has personally caused me to back into a pole as i was mid reversal when it shut off. it happens when moving or stationary. have been unable to capture images, however it has happened multiple times. have been to the dealer and they are unable to find the issue.
I just purchased a 2019 jetta r line and since day one i have a grinding noise coming from the transfer case or the transmission. it's always there at around 50km/per hour for about 2 sec. like many others said it doesn't feel right for me. i hope vw will take action and do something about it. on top of that i lost all my radio presets and the screen has started to freeze. i also notice a knocking sound in the rear suspension over normal bumps.
My brand new vehicle has been stalling. engine struggles to turn on after electrical system is down. vehicle states that the air temperature control sensor is malfunctioning and vehicle completely stalls w/o power. engine fails. electrical fails.
The car shut off, i lost control of the power steering and the breaks failed to stop after the computer shut the car off. now they calm the shifter is defective and needs replaced after there computer diagnostic codes failed to detect the problem the first 2 times and a test drive would have told them their was a problem but they refused to do a test drive and relied and faulty computer input. this serious malfunction could have resulted in my injury or death or injury and death to another party. the defective shifter has caused injury to my right knee and tendons. i was in park, a person entered the car. i put the car in reverse and the car shut off rolled down the hill until it stopped by rolling in reverse up a hill behind me. the person refused to be in my car as the danger was obvious to her. the only reason the car stopped was because of the hill. i lost control of the brakes and power steering as the car was shut off. any child or elderly person behind me would have suffer serious injury. the dealership i purchased the car from is refusing to write any of this information down.
The vehicle suspension harness system was damaged by vw roadside assistance's contracted tow company.
