After driving in the rain and parking my car in light rain for about two and a half hours the front windshield wipers would not work when i started the car. i tinkered around with the levers and the rear wiper worked and the washer fluid worked, but not the front wipers. i checked the fuse indicated in the manual and it was not blown. i was forced to drive home in the rain without the use of my front wipers. *tr
Windshield wipers system failed in snow storm. parts replaced complete loss of engine power while driving in traffic. 8 times this has happened. dealer can not find cause. no start situation, twice. dealer can not find cause. transmission noise. dealer can not find cause, will replace transmission if noise continues. *tr
2009 and possibly 2010 volkswagen jetta windshield wiper system stopped working when the brake was applied and only restarted when the brake pedal was released. updated 02-26-2010. *bf updated ivoq 06/01/10 vehicle taken to dealer 4 times for corrective action and system is not repaired. dealer told me that vw engineering stated that this is proper operation of the system and no repairs are needed. dealers employees are aware of the safety hazard associated with lack of proper operation and state that they acknowledged the problem and that it is not in proper working order. *tr
