I was in an accident going 55 mph in the process my car clipped a curb and it snapped my axel causing the car to go head on into an object across the road my car also flipped none of the airbags deployed.
I was traveling on hwy 58 turning onto hwy99 . construction had it down to 1 lane. was going approx. 35 mph when my front driverside tire blew out, sent car in to a right turning motion in to cement dividers. airbag deployed but did not air up. airbag came out like tube right into my chest. was taken to hospital from accident. where they concluded that i had 3 broken ribs.
Tl* the contact owned a 2008 toyota yaris. the contact stated that while driving at 35 mph, another vehicle made an illegal turn causing the contact to t-bone the vehicle. the air bags failed to deploy. the contact sustained internal chest injuries that required medical attention. the contact stated that she was in the trauma unit for two days. the other driver did not sustained injuries. a police report was filed. the vehicle was towed to an independent tow lot. the contact called autonation toyota leesburg dealer; (located at 1 cardinal park dr se, leesburg, va 20175, (571) 357-3965) where two previous takata recalls were performed on the vehicle. the first recall performed was on the passengers side air bag and later the driver side air bag. the nhtsa campaign numbers were not available. the contact was informed by the dealer to contact the corporate office of toyota. the vehicle was not taken to a dealer. the vehicle was destroyed. the manufacturer was notified of the failure and provided a case number: 1907232238. the approximate mileage was 235,000.
My fixd sensor picked up a b1660 airbag code, seat driver front up circuit open error code. but my vin says there are no unrepaired recalls.
